Susie ... I know you're in Manchester - are you at St Mary's ..? ... They won't let you commence tmt unless they feel your weight won't hinder the process.

I'm on day 3 buserelin, so I'm actually 4 days behind you - so no frets eh ? Don't worry about not posting much either. Just post whenever you feel like it, and watch the rest of the time. We don't mind !!

I actually feel pretty crap at the moment. I posted on another thread that I'd had bad AF pains during the night, last night. They cleared up this morning. Now they've started again and I think I'll probably throw up soon (sorry - tmi). I realy feel like AF's going to start any minute ..?

I'm on day 3 of downreg and AF's not due until Sun/Monday ... It's never early, so what's going on ?

This pattern'd better not last 'till Sunday ..!

Hi Sandra I'm at Manchester Fertility Services. The first time I did IVF I didnt know what clinics there were and this one was the one my doctor referred me to. Last time the IVF worked first time so we're going with the same one. I got info on others this time but I dont understand all the results to compare so we decided to stay with the one we know!
I have no AF symptoms at all, but I have PCOS and only bleed once a year so they said its likely I wont bleed so if AF doesnt come I just go back on 18th April to see if burserelin has worked, then start with Fostimon.
Fingers crossed for all on 2ww

Sandra

Just a quick message to reassure you, when I was on Buserelin I had pains and my AF changed pattern - I think it's probably a side-effect :x

Thanks Heather! I really appreciate the support. I am really nervous to phone today to setup my ET time for Sunday. I haven't had much good news during this entire tmt - I am not sure if I can handle bad news. I am trying to remain positive and think this time I will have good news (i.e. -that ET is still scheduled for Sunday).

To be honest yesterday I was a complete mess - the hormones (which made me very relaxed) must have worn off

Will let you guys know schedule for Sunday around 13:00 today.

Lots and lots of baby dust (and PMA!!!)

Traci. Let's hope you get good news today and ET is on for Sunday as scheduled. You know we're all here for you.

Sand. Sorry you're not feeling so well. Sounds like the meds are messing your cycle up. AF would only be a day or two early which must be fairly normal, I would think?

MissMolly. Good luck with EC. My HCG shot was 35hrs before EC and make sure you're distracted whilst you get the shot!

Randa. Cute thought! The odds are still only 50% chance of my being pregnant although it's fun (?) to think of twins, triplets make my eyes water so let's assume we don't get that far. DF announced this morning that we'd have to get rid of our tennant and install an au pair......nice idea but if I'm not working we'll be completely and utterly broke from the nappy bill alone. Yikes....what a nice thing to worry about!

Little P. Thanks for the kind thoughts. The sofa arrived at 8pm in 3 bits so it stayed that way! DF will assemble it later today and I'll languish on it later this evening I hope. Luckily he bought me a 700 page biography for my birthday (Nansen, 'the father of modern polar exploration' which is really good) that I'm only half way through so I've plenty to keep me busy.

Susie, if you're concerned ask your clinic directly. There are so many things to worry about with tmt that you might as well clear this one up before you start and cross it off your list. They do say to avoid all dramatic weight loss before treatment as it can weaken the body and you'll need all your strength before you begin. If it helps, on the charts etc. I'm at the very top end of 'normal' range, but only by an ounce or two and have never been told weight is an issue.

Good luck everyone,
Debra
