Auntie, I was thinking of you a lot on my trip. Then I bought Gilmore Girl DVD series from Season 3 and Season 5. I remembered you liked it. I got a very good bargain, only spent about $8 (don’t ask ) for all of them. But I left them all to my cousin because when I watched them I realized that the series was so good. I wanted to enjoy them in special occasion. So I let my cousin enjoy all of them. But, I have Grey Anatomy season 1-2. I will start to watch next week. I always love America Series, but our local TV always put the show up to 10pm

Well just a rant from me sorry before i start will just came in picked up the mail and there it was letter from the clinic opened it and it was another bill for my FET which was paid for 6 weeks ago so i phoned them and she told me she will have to get back to me cheeky ***** really made me feel i feeling rather crap has got a very bad belly and a bad head never mind got the info evening tonight so hope wil get loads of info will fill you all in on it tomorrow sorry it was about me

Rachel, sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. Watch those bills, they can be tricky, and you could end up paying more than once for something. There's so much to pay for with IVF. You have to be really careful.

hi to everyone else....well as for me, the clinic finally called me back yesterday and we're going for another fresh cycle with my may AF, so will start downregging in june. i asked them if the chances go up or down with subsequent cycles and she said they stay the same at this point. they gave us a 40% chance for our first cycle so she reckons the same. she couldnt give me any answers as to what went wrong but then i knew she wouldnt be able to. i know that unfortunatly its just a luck-game sometimes. she said i had textbook embryos put back in (2 top quality 8 cell embies) so it was then just down to nature. i did ask her whether there is anything we can do about our number of mature eggs (we had 15 eggs but only 5 were mature) and she said they dont suggest upping my dose of stimms as i had enough follies as it was (and they dont want to overstimulate me) but they'll probably just leave me for an extra day or 2....so it all sounds fairly good. on the one hand i was hoping they'd have other plans but then again i'm pleased that they did everything right this time and that it was just bad luck....know what i mean??

anyway, so we're going again in june!!!!!!! wooooohooooooo!!!!!!!!! we need to sort a second mortgage out to pay for it, which wont come through by then so dh has suggested to put the cycle on the credit card for now so we could start asap again and then pay the credit card off with the second mortgage.....bless him!!

thats it for me...i do feel better now we have a plan again!!

Great News to hear that you're going again in June. You guys did nothing wrong, and everything right. It is definitely a luck of the draw. Unfortunately, odds are against IVF being successful in general. The more you try the better your chances just by odds. You'll do great. Keep the faith and keep doing what you're doing! You had a great cycle, luck just sucks sometimes! Just ask me.... I'm on number 5. This will be my last shot, as If it doesn't work this time, I think my luck has really just run dry. Plus..... I'm 40 EEK!!!!

And what's with that 40 comment, I'm an old bat and I did it, so can you sweetie! A friend of a friend just gave birth last night to a baby girl and she's 45! Keep the faith!

Aunty... have you heard anything back from the grant a wish website?

As for me...nothing fits. Not going to be easy keeping this a secret at work for the next 3.5 weeks. People are going to think I'm just putting on lots of weight. I'm actually thinking of telling my boss next week. I'm too uncomfortable in my clothes and need to let it 'hang out'. Feeling pretty good and going for my next u/s on Friday.
