Woodcliff,
Thank you for the encouragment, the reason i am taking those evil HPTs is because i posess zero patience :D At this point whatever happens, happens. All i can do is to stay positive.
Mandy, when did your HPT turn positive, i mean on which day after the transfer and did you do 3 or 5 day transfer?Godd luck to all!!!!

Vlada - I had a 2 day transfer this time, eggs taken on 6th Aug, implanted on 8th Aug, 1st positive HPT 17th Aug.

Oh i forgot to mention that i POAS today and got a very faint positive and then i did it again in about one hour and it was definitely there, still faint but i can see it!!!! Now i am freaking out because it can be ectopic, miscarriage or all 4 embies took :shock: :shock: :shock: . Oh why oh why did i have to POAS, oooohhhh......
Oh and my lower back is still killing me and i have period cramps, so my mom said that these can be first signs of miscarriage, did anyone hear about that too????
So i am a little bit freaked out, can you tell :D :D :D :D

Vlada, Mina, good luck to you both. Try to think positive, it's hard, I know..
Vlada...a faint pink is hopeful...(I think your mom might want to back out of this right now, I don't know your relationship with her but it sounds hateful to me what she said...ONLY listen to your doctor, NOT doctor Mom)

Mindy, congrats on the HPT positive as well....

I seriously put the blood test off till it was almost too late to get the results on Friday (my hubby was PISSED)...but since he works at the hospital, he got them at around 5:45 pm, after we had an early dinner...Frankly, it was exACTLY how I wanted it to happen...I wanted to be WITh him when I got the results.

He'll never get it...men.

As to patience, Vlada, I wasn't given that gift...everyone thinks I am so, so patient but in truth I'm merely a procrastinator!!! :lol: :lol:

Hey,
I have a fantastic relationship with my mom, but she is a very emotional person, so sometimes she says things that are crazy lol :D :D :D . Plus i think that she is super worried right now, and she had a miscarriage before she had me, so i think hat she is just scared for me.
Well, i am off to buy more tests, i will try a digital one, it detects i think HCG over 50 and i will call my doc tomorrow to see if i can move the blood test, although i don't think they will let me.

I hear you re: your mom...I'm SUPER close to my mom, but chose NOT told her a thing re: IVF...I don't want to stress her...

She BARELY handled the news we might adopt, just an idea TOSSED at her 2 weeks ago, in lieu of not being able to share the IVF stuff...I saw her prior to flying to my clinic, in hopes of just connecting with my "mommy" (big mamma's girl here)...I was a bit sad she couldn't take the news, but then felt a sense of relief I had not burdened her with the IVF worries...

Glad I have not...my sis is the ONLY one who knows...too many well meaning cooks in the kitchen would make me inSANE. (or, more than I normally am!) ... then again, I'm a super private person and tend to communicate solely with my hubby re: IVF...

Thus, the sense of aloneness through this...men do not Get it, totally!

Well i just POAS in clear blue digital and it said "not pregnant" but First respose that i took this morning is more sensitive, it detects 15 to 25 levels of HCG versus 50 on digital test, ohhhhhhhhhh i hate myself for doing these tests!!! :twisted:
Well i just have to wait till tomorrow.

Well I was trying to follow in Woodcliffs steps no cheating no HPT's! I am convinced that what I am about to admit to is Vlada and Mandys fault lol :lol: I was at the store today and just happened to walk by the HPT's so my DH agaisnt his better judgement said lets just try it and see what it says. It's positive but now I think waiting until the blood test will be even harder I hope it's not a false positive anyway I just had to share wiuth someone.

Hey girls! I"m going in tomorrow for my test and managed to stay away from the HPT this whole time. It was more out of fear than patience, however. Aliann, that is great news and I have yet to hear of it reading positive when it isn't. It's read negative when it's positive, but never the other way around as far as I know. So just in case I turn into a basketcase tomorrow and can't get on line, let me thank you all now for being there for me and helping me get through this draining process. I could never have done it without all your help. Wish me luck!!! Good luck to all of you too!

Aliann, i know i know may be i have caused a hysteria, sorry. I did POAS again and it was a faint plus , wow i am such an addict!!! My husband doesn't even take me serious anymore lol :D :D :D what day post transfer are you?

I am 8dpt, Vlada you have got to pull yourself together or buy stock in the HPT company :lol: the 2nd is sounding like a better option for you. how many days pt are you?

RMSM, I think you will be plesantly supprised tomorrow and I can't wait to hear the good news, just remember no matter what happens that you always have somewhere to go to talk.

Well off to bed for me not that I am going to get much sleep tonight I am so confused. I want to be excited but I want the official results or maybe I'll just HPT again tomorrow hahahahaha :lol: :lol:
