Hi Vicky, absolutely thrilled to be sharing this journey with you. I still can't believe it , when the nurse said good news i was just praying the number would be over 100. When she told me i just came out with OH MY GOD thats high, and she just said it was a good number. But i only transferred two!!! but i would not be surprised if it was twins with this number. i can't believe all i was missing all this time was a junior aspirin.

Angie, i believ i cycled with you last november along with Vicky?

Thankyou ladies for the lovely welcome, i hope we can make the next 8 months easier on each other.

Welcome Beachbaby! AND Congratulations!

How is everyone doing? I'm doing ok. So far no sickness and I pray it doesn't hit me. I have my next u/s on the 19th and then I'll be released to my ob/gyn in which I have my first prenatal on the 26th. I'm so excited I can't believe this is really happening!
Vicky I'm sorry to hear you're bored but just keep in mind the bedrest is for a good cause. Try to stay sane during this time.

Hi Everyone!

Vicky - are you having any symptoms yet? I still do not have morning sickness and it worries me!!! I thought by now I would have it.

I am going in a day early for my next scan. It was supposed to be on Thursday but they are letting me change my scans to Wednesday now. Thursday is a very busy day for me at work so it is just not a good day for me to go to the doctor. I PRAY they can see a heartbeat! I have been really worriying the past couple of days because I don't ever feel sick!

You girls take care! Keep us updated on everything!!!!

Shantell.....I don't have any symptoms either, no MS, no sore bb's, just the tiredness and fullness after eating, nothing new. So you are going tomorrow for your scan then!!, good luck!!, I am sure you will see a HB, actually, 2 HB's!!!!!!

Hey Kimberli.....I also don't have any MS yet. So next Monday is your follow up scan!!, I still haven't had the guts to make an appt with a regular Ob/Gyn, call me supersticious

The other issue ladies is the following. My current insurance will not cover my pg if they find out it was done through fertility treatment. They don't know anything yet since I paid everything out of pocket. But I don't know what to do about my Ob/Gyn, the thing is, if I tell my Ob I had IVF, they will obviously put it in my history and that will go to the insurance, which means they will not cover me, on the other hand I can choose not to tell my OB that I became pg through IVF, but I don't feel very good about that either......what would you guys do in my case????

Hi Everyone-

Vicky- I would tell your OB and discuss the problem with them about the insurance and if they see it as a problem dont' go through them and find another dr. Alot of drs are understanding. I'm definitely going to tell mine which they already know.

Shantell- Don't worry about not having MS I don't have it either but my boobs are sore and I get tired easily. It's still a little early for you and if we don't experience MS then we can consider ourselves lucky! Good luck tomorrow I'm sure everything else will work out.

I have HORRIBLE heartburn....my doc says Tums is OK!

I am early in my 6 weeks...I hope they can see the HB! My doctor says it could be 7 weeks!

I am going to be scared if they don't see one.

Hi Girls - sorry to hear you are bored on bed rest Vicky - in some ways I envy you as I am so tired and lethargic - I could do with a day resting and watching dvd's but then I know I would soon get bored - just no pleasing me!

Good luck with your scan this week.

My symptons are tired and lethargic and often feel a bit down - probably the hormones...My bbs are sore - we went to The Killers concert last night and some big guy bumped me - ouch it hurt! Sometimes I feel slightly queasy but worst is the hunger pains - they hit me sometimes and I am absolutely ravenous and have to eat immediately. I am trying to build a stock of healthy snacks at my desk at work - yesterday it was tuna and crackers at 4.30pm!

I have an 8 week scan next week and then I am changing dr's and clinics. I need a break from the IVF clinic so it will be a new hospital and new dr for me for this new phase.

Look forward to hearing about everyone's up coming scans.

Melinda....I am sorry you have a cold, it doesn't sound fun at all. Get better!

Angie.....oooooo hunger pains!!!, let's talk about that!!, it seems like when hunger comes the world suddenly stops and all I need is FOOD or nobody can continue with their lives . And the ups and downs are terrible, one day I am sooo happy, the next I am a nervous wreck fearing that something could go wrong............oh well (sigh).

Beachbaby.....where are you??, I want to know how are you doing!!

Hi ladies, sorry i've been MIA, back to work and been very busy.
feeling ok, very nauseous but not been sick yet. it comes at strange times of day but most especially when i am hungry, and then 1/2 hour after i've eaten, strange. also feel very tired, had it by about 8.30pm.

vicky, hows the bed rest going? hope your not too bored.Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

Angie, i can sympethise with feeling quesy, DH made me a cup of tea this morning, wasn't so keen on that today!! i am also tired. hope the bb's are ok today, i can imagine the crush at a concert, hope you enjoyed yourself otherwise.

HI Everyone!

Well, my scan went OK. I am happy but worried. I am 6W3D and Baby A measured at 6W1D (which they said was great)...we saw and heard the heartbeat...it was awesome!!! The heartbeat was 108 BPM which they said is perfect! Baby B is measuring at 5 weeks...we were not able to see or hear that heartbeat but there is a yolk sac so they said not to worry as it was just too soon to hear that little one. I know I shouldn't worry but I just hope all this is normal. I haven't done much research on twin pregnancies so I am just scared. Baby B has grown since last scan so I guess that is good. Does anyone know about one twin being a week behing the other?
