Sonu: I thought about it for a long time, and then at church the pastor was asking is there anything that God has been telling you to do that you have been ignoring?? I knew he was talking right to me!

Indie:5!! You go girl!! And I am sure your organs will be worthy of such praise (Our Father made them specially for you  )

Hope:Where are you at in your cycle? I need to keep a journal to keep track of everyone!

I start Gonal-F tonight! Very excited to start stimming. I had a job interview and it went well. It will be hectic if I get the job, but will help to save up money before my bfp  .

Hope all you ladies are having a great day (I know Princess is!!). Where ever our roads lead us I pray they lead us closer to God, with or without a child!

Beth Moore talks about Peace in her study Living Free:
"If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea." Isa. 48:18

Moore writes:
The obstacles of life cannot stand against the power of God's river of peace.
1. A river is a moving stream of water: God's word does not say pond! When was the last time you saw white-water rapids? We can have active exciting lives without suffering through a life of turmoil. To have peace like a river is to have security and tranquility while meeting the many bumps along the way. Peace is submission to a trustworthy Authority, not resignation from activity.

2. A river is a body of fresh water fed by prings and tributary streams. I've found that I can't retain peace in the present by relying on a relationship from the past. Peace comes from an active, ongoing, and obedient relationship with the Price of Peace.

3. A river begins and ends with a body of water. EVery river has an upland source and an ultimate outlet or mouth. Rivers are fully dependent because they are always connected to other bodies of water. Likewise, peace like a river flows from a continuous connection with upland source Jesus Christ, and is a timely reminder that this life is not our destination, hallelujah!

Hope this encourages you today as it does me!!

Peace,
MP

Okay, I know dreams can be skewed by thinking about something way too much LOL But I had a dream last night that I had a little baby boy! And someone approached me and asked me about having him and I said "well I guess my tubes weren't tied as well as I thought"....hmmm, odd!

On a lighter note though, I talked to the RE's office yesterday and she said that I needed to start with my diagnostics a few months prior to going in to the treatment so I need to work out a timeline.

Not that I'll get pregnant on the first or even second try....which is all we're doing (one fresh and one frozen) but it's a strange concept to actually decide when would be a good time to 'get pregnant'. We have a vacation in October, so I'm thinking..should I wait till after that? That's a long time! But on the flip side, if I start in April or May like I'd originally thought that puts me 6-7 months pregnant at vacation....and what if it was twins (we're only going to do 2 ET so the chance of that happening aren't too high from what I've read), that wouldn't be good to be walking around Disney with a risky pregnancy.

Decisions, decisions.....I think I'm worrying too much seeing how I haven't even had my first appointment yet LOL

Oh and I think I'm stressing my body out too....I still haven't seen AF! I keep thinking she's coming and then I feel better and the cramps go away....what's up with that. We have a standing appointment every month and she's never later than 31 days!

So anyhow, pray please for my trivial worries :)

Listening to Beth Moore this morning and heard something that I thought fit in this thread :)

Beyond every conquest is a promise fulfilled! Faith fights things through, because there is a promise at stake! It would be easier to go around a problem, but a longer road....Faith fights THROUGH it! If God has led you to IVF, fight through it! We might not even know what the promise is on the other side....but if he leads you to something you have to have a 'through' kind of Faith to gain that promise.

Blessings to you all today!

Indie Blue-God speaks to us in our dreams so listen to them. I had a dream too. I posted it earlier in the board. It's one of the things that helped me keep strong during the 2ww. Another thing was Joel Osteens new book. There's a section in there that says when you pray for something you should expect it. That God wants us to have faith!

I'm thinking of you all. Just trying to relax. I've been very tired.

Evening Ladies-

I wrote you a nice little (ok, long) post... but then my SIL called and apparently I got booted off during our chat and my post is somewhere out in cyberspace - :( I'd re-write, but I'm really tired tonight.

Just so you know, it was full of love and hugs for you all.

God bless...

Not sure if ya'll read this excerpt I posted a few days ago (see top of page), but I love the fact that I can have sooo much going on in my life with IVF and be at complete peace! I really have very few worries with the outcome. I think this is it! This will be my time! :)

Hope: Thanks again for the prayer that you shared. Sorry your little long post got lost - that stinks :? Are you waiting for AF to start IVF? I am praying for God to continue to heal you physically and emotionally from your m/c.

Princess: I bet both you and dh are smiling from ear to ear :) Have you told everyone yet?? I pray for God's protection of your lil' bean growing inside you.

Indie: And as we fight through God is building us up! God promises that "our suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." Rom 5:3-5  Glad the meeting with RE was productive. I know it is a tough decidion with timing. Praying for God's guidance on when to start treatments.

Sonu: What are you up to??

I am taking my meds like a good girl and am still scheduled for ER on 1/28. Trying to focus on God at this hectic time b/c He grounds me. I know this life is not all there is and that there is more to life than having a baby ( I just sometimes need to be reminded that! ).

Ok girls, off to bed! Have a PEACEFUL Sunday tomorrow!

Hope, you so totally rock! I love your lists and your prayers. Thanks and God Bless you!

I haven't been able to write much the past couple of days with general every day busy stuff and WOW, this thread is busy! It is so wonderful to be a part of such a strong bond in sisterhood with all of you, I wish I was more contributory to the thread. Its great to see this thread so close to the top of the list in the forum every day. What an amazing opportunity to share His word with others browsing through this site.

So, one pregnancy already for Princess and plenty more to follow shortly for the rest of us I am sure. God is GOOD!

MP, thats excellent news on your follies. Bet you're so excited. Be good to yourself and let your DH pamper you, escpecially after you ET. I can't remember, is this your first time? Sorry that my memory is not the best.

Sonu, have you started your FET cycle? Is this your first FET? I'm really excited to do the FET because I didn't have much fun with stimming. I had 24 follicles and was very uncomfortable, had to coast the last few days with no stimming meds cause my E2 was so high I was at risk for OHSS. Yuk, bad memory. But, I did get pregnant so thats something good to take from it. Sadly, the Lord took those little ones......all part of His plan.

I'm sorry for those whose name I have not mentioned tonight but hugs and love to all of you.

Me? Well, my teeth have been quite the ordeal but are finally healing. I did get to the point where the pain was worse than childbirth (I have a 7 yr old, so it has been a while, my memory may be clouded). I'm going back to work tomorrow, I'm a bit worried because I won't be able to take any strong pain meds. I'm a labor and delivery nurse and I could lose my license if I take any narcotics while I am working. My beta was checked again Friday but, of course, the result weren't available by 5pm so I have to wait til Monday. However, I feel VERY premenstrual, so I'm thinking AF is on her way......hurry up AF. I loved the dance you sent me Hope and I will be wearing white to encourage her arrival! LOL You know I was just thinking and I think I will cry tears of happiness when AF arrives....how wierd is that?I usually feel the opposite.

ok, this is becoming a long waffle, so blessings to everyone and sweet dreams

Hello My Lovely Sisters in Christ-

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon/evening.

Today was "The Sanctity of Human Life" Sunday at church today. Great service and incredible testimony by a young lady who had an abortion at 18, went to a Sanctity of Life service at our church when she was 23 and gave her life to Christ and now works for Sanctity of Life Ministries.

It was heart-wrenching to think of all the little children out there who are unwanted and are ossed away like yesterday's garbage. Tuesday 1/22/08 is the 35 year anniversary of Roe v. Wade. According to our pastor, over 50 million children have been aborted since 01/22/73. The population of both Texas and New York combined don't add up to 50 million. It's unreal.

Image

I know on a site like this, you won't likely find many pro-choicers - probably even less likely on a thread like ours... I'm not preaching at ya... it is just an incredible fact to me that so many children are aborted each year in our country, for no other reason, in many cases, than they are not wanted. And for those of us struggling to have babies of our own, and those of us adopting these children, who might not otherwise have a home - it's unimaginable.

But, there are probably some folks out there who might read my post and say, well - "I want to have a child now" - but who had an abortion in their past. Well, if that is you... I am glad to say Praise be to Him, we have a loving and forgiving God who knows how your heart aches and knows the struggles you have faced and are facing now. He loves YOU! I pray that he will heal your heart and make you a new creation in Him.

We all know that our little embies are our babies from the moment of conception - but I like this passage... :)

Psalm 139:13-17
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! (my emphasis added)

Image

Father, we pray for those contemplating abortion today and in the future. I pray that their lives will be touched and their hearts will be saved through the choice for life. Lord, please comfort those who have already experienced an abortion and who now suffer the consequences of those actions. Lord help them to know that you love them and that you forgive them. And Lord, help us who are trying to conceive with the issue of abortion and those young women and girls who find themselves with child, while we are still barren. I know you understand our pain in seeing this, Lord - as it pains you more than it could ever pain us. Lord help us to be compassionate for them and to reach out to them to introduce them to You, that you might save them and their babies. Amen.
