It's been very quiet on here...how is everyone?

I went for my third and final beta which was 698. So I am pretty happy...now I will just hold my breath until the ultrasound on April 3rd.

Updates anyone?

Congratulations, Brandy. How exciting for you!

I'm waiting for AF to get started on cycle #3. The clinic said that if it's late, the ER may be in June. I don't want to wait that long. Here's hoping it comes soon!

I've had a cold for the past couple of days. I'm feeling tired and I need to get excited about this next cycle. Brandy, your good news helps!

Laura, glad to hear your US went well. Are you feeling excited?

Brandy-

Don't know if you remember me from the Nov./Dec. 2ww. Even though I am still in the middle of this pregnancy, my mind drifts to 'the next one', and so thought I would browse this thread. I was sooooo excited to see you got your bfp this time! I sure do know that you are still on pins and needles till that u/s, but those numbers look great! I am really so happy for you, and it's very inspiring, particularly for a fellow endo gal. Congratulations!

To all of you trying for your 2nd, may you all get your bfp's very very soon!

Hi all-

Yellow- Thanks again for the updates on all of us- #2 girls- that is great! Sorry you've been sick- hope you feel better soon. June will probably get here before you know it or maybe it'll still be May depending on AF- aren't we just always wanting AF to either hurry up and get here or stay far away!! I am indeed excited cuz our FET is about a month away now and I can't believe it. I just hope I respond the right way to the estrogen and all so that we can keep the date.

Brandy- That's a great 3rd beta! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that all will continue well. The wait to the ultrasound I thought was even harder than the 2ww for the beta. I'm sure it'll go great. Keep us updated. How are you feeling?

All #2 pregnant girls- How are you all feeling? Have you had more ultrasounds?

And to everyone else- Hope you are all well and here's to all of us getting our dreams of #2 answered!

Thanks for the reminders that June is not an eternity from now. :) It'll be here soon if I have to wait for it.

I did start spotting today. The nurse said to wait for "full flow." I think I'll call anyway to see if I missed the May window or not.

We dyed Easter eggs yesterday with my DD. She loved it! She was so cute -- made huge mess -- dyed her diaper green and pink. :)

Beth, have you decided on a clinic?

Melo_P, are you feeling any better? We're ready to help you move on to the next stage as soon as you are.

I believe it was Laura who asked how I was feeling...well, I have been so tired. I forgot how tired you are in the beginning...and boy is it different already having a little one to keep you busy! No more nappying when ever I want to  I'm not complaining though...it is all so wonderful :) Other than that I have some days of nausea, but no sickness (I was lucky to not have any sickness with my DD). For me the biggest thing is headaches, which just started yesterday, and my sciatic nerve gives me problems as I have a uterus that is tilted to the left. As soon as it starts getting even slightly bigger I have nerve pain...fun stuff...I love it :P

Hi All
Happy easter - gosh didn't realise three of us #2 had made it over the BFP hurdle! Congrats!!

Well the natural FET cycles roll around pretty quickly, so not too much time to sniffle - as now already just waiting to ovulate so can have next transfer - probably (appendages crossed) over the weekend or early next week.

I have the option of transferring either just one embryo (docs recommendation) or two (bring it on am totally impatient!!). As you might have noted if your on the FET thread too - am plaguing every man and his dog for their take on what to do - try and double my chances (even though don't feel at my healthiest) or prolong the attempts in a more conservative and rational fashion??
Help!

Hi, Mel. I read your other post and Ghost's answer. My opinion, for what it's worth, is to do them one and a time. I know it possibly prolongs the waiting and medication, but it seems safer for you and the future baby. It is a tough call. Good luck with your decision.

Brandy, sorry your not feeling so well. Glad to hear you feel pregnant. :)

I got my period yesterday and I've started BCP. I'm waiting for the nurse to call with my schedule. Hard to believe I'm starting this again. Feels good, though.

Hi all-

I started my lupron yesterday- whoopppeeee!!! It does feel like I'm getting somewhere now that I started shots- so fun!

Mel- We too have 3 frozen embies and our doctor's recommendation which we are going with is to put back the highest rated one alone the first try and then if that doesn't work, we're going to put the other two back together the second time. The 2 embies are rated just slightly lower than the single one but I guess I feel like if the one doesn't work, I'll be more than happy to try two the next time knowing that it will probably be our last try so if twins- that'll be fine. But I totally understand how you feel, like how can just one embyro work, but I suppose it just takes one so that's the way to think about it. Good luck with your decision.

Yellow- Glad that you are happy to get started- that's great! Don't you feel like you are always waiting for something- for a phone call or whatever...let us know what your schedule will be.

Brandy- I remember too being so tired the first few months and getting headaches the first couple months. I can't even imagine how much harder it is with a little one to chase- I sure hope I'll find out though!! Hope all cotinues well for you!

Hi to everyone and hope you are all well.

Laura, I know in my heart that you and the rest of the ladies will find out what it is like with number 2 :) Hopefully it won't take you as long as it did for dh and I on the second try...we were about to give up!
I am sure this is a totally natural feeling, but I am so nervous about next week's ultrasound...I just can't shake this feeling that they won't see a heartbeat...just awful!

I heard from the nurse. I'll start Lupron on 4/10 and Follistim on 4/25. It's a good schedule.

Laura, yes, we're always waiting for something. Funny that jabbing yourself is something to look forward to and get excited about, but I totally know how you feel.

A little rant:

I got back from playgroup this afternoon. Two of the mom's are pregnant. There is a lot of complaining in the group about pregnancy and about how hard motherhood is. I know it's important for mom's to have a place to share frustrations. I have my share of them, but I don't always get the feel that these mothers stop to appreciate motherhood. I feel so lucky to be a mom. I want to talk about how magical motherhood is and I'm afraid the girls would find that so uncool. It's not really the vibe of the group. Maybe I am just being a dork or maybe too sensitive.

Anyway, the schedule works really well. DH can take off the week of the ER and ET, so that will be great. I'm trying to relax more with the cycle. I am very grateful for all I have in my life. And I'm grateful I found this board. :)

Brandy- That's so nice of you to say- I really do hope I'll know what it's like to have #2...and I really hope the days fly by so you can be reassured that your little one is there to stay...I'll keep you in my prayers that all will go well next week.

Yellow- You can always share here or vent here because we all most definitely would feel the same as you about what a true blessing motherhood is, especially when you work so hard for it like we all have. Sounds like your cycle will work out well from what you posted- I wish you all the best. And of course you too and everyone here are all in my prayers.

Hi All
Thanks for the advice - its helpful!

Yellow - I know where your coming from! It does make me think though - that for those of us who have gone through infertility and actually succeeded - we have really a very special privilege that most fertile couples can't ever expect to experience. I don't mean that they would love their children any less - but it would be kind of impossible to experience the same feeling of being totally blessed appreciating parent hood even when things are a bit challenging. If you haven't had to go through infertility - i wonder if you could ever feel that same degree of thankfulness or something like that so lucky us in a weird way!! Okay enough cheese and crackers, and I certainly don't feel schmaltzy like that when am evil eyeing the four (!!) pregnant woman in my office at the moment. Grrrrrrr.

Laura - Yay - good luck! Yes - even the needle jabbing - does feel exciting and there's all that hope and anticipation (mixed with the rest of it!). A wee bit closer to number two already!

Brandy - The U/S will be fine. How exciting to see the little beanie! Keep us posted.

What is it about trying for a baby again - that makes you totally detail obsessed and completely second guess everything!! I have noticed that many people doing FET seem to be doing medicated cycles and almost no one doing a natural cycle FET. For some reason I thought only hormone (ovulation related) issues would lead to a medicated cycle - but is that the case? Am starting to wonder whether medicated cycles have much better success rates - and thats why the clinics are doing them??!!

Am working myself into another froth that I have even less chance of this working. Ahhhhggrrr. (what was all that being blessed cr*p I was harping on about!)

When I did my FETs I did 2 medicated and 1 natural cycle. My doctor said that they had been getting really good results with the natural cycle, but that in most cases (unless requested by the patient) they did the medicated cycles just as a precaution. I don't know...just wanted to share ;)
