Hi Sweety!!! I wanted to get on here this morning and give you a big hug and good luck today but I got so dumb busy. I will have my fingers and every other apendage crossed for you on the 11th. I will also put you in my prayers!!
As for my time frame, I just don't know. It's looking like the soonest will be after the first of the year. There are a couple of reasons for this. One being that our HSA (Health savings account) will be filled up again in January, it's nice being able to use those pre-tax dollars for stuff that the insurance doesn't cover. The next is that I am just not mentally ready yet. And the last and I think most important reason is that I am just not doing well physically. I have fibromyalgia, which I think I have posted somewhere on here before. When we started the invitro I had it very well under control. I also have osteo arthrits in my neck from a car accident that I had when I was a teen. Both of these are really bad right now. I have not gone to a regular physician for either condition (excluding pain clinic visits) in at least four years. I have been seeing a holistic doctor (he's am MD but has gone the natural route with much success) for both instead. In doing so I was able to get to the point where I really thought that I could carry and take care of a baby, otherwise of course we wouldn't even have thought about a first attempt. I am not sure if it's because of the MC or what but my body is sort of shutting down. I am even starting to get some funny lab results back showing lots of imflammation and possible infection. Which neither are common in fibro, it's looking more like rhuematoid arthritis which is wierd. So, I am back at the traditional doctor trying to get some answers and relief. My pain level is through the roof and my fatigue is really frustrating to say the least. I have not lost hope, but am putting it on the back burner for now. I just wrote another check the day before yesterday for 3 months more storage of my little frosties. I have four embryos just waiting for me to get my junk together!! I really hope that within the next month or so that my blood work will level out as will my pain and fatigue. So, long story long I am hoping for some time just after the first of the year.
Again, GOOD LUCK!!!!!! I'll be checking in on you

Hoekey - wow! You are so very strong to deal with all this. Nothing wrong with just focusing on getting YOU back to a better state before you think about bringing those frosties home. And I sure hear you about the out of pocket costs and the FSA. Mine have been fairly manageable, thank goodness. I don't know how people do this without insurance!
Thanks rio, I'll keep you posted!
