it is a worry that you could fertilise the embies and they can pull out right up to a minuet before they are put back in , but Im trying not to go there as we dont need stress!!! I think we are the only ones doing donor eggs

Hello

I am still trying to learn the codes. What is AF?

Downregging is when I start to snif isn't it? Well I start on Wednesday and have read the leaflet with the drug, it is quite scarey, all the effects it seems to have. I am already very moody with PMT and now I advised my partner (what does dh stand for?) to go somewhere else unless I am unbearable taking those drugs. Different clinics prescribe different drugs don't they? Are any better or worse than others?

Is it a good idea to carry on going to the gym or do you suggest taking it easy, particularly after the embryo transfer? (what are the initials for that?)
Am I right in understanding from various post that these drugs make you put on weight? Great!

Another person I know has just got pregnant by accident. Doesn't that just get so frustrating? It wasn't planned and now she doesn't know what to do.

Well I am off to have a bath and pamper myself. Tomorrow we have an information session at the hospital. However, I seem to be getting more useful info of you lot on here than I probably will here. Not looking to starting the sniffing on Wednesday and I hope I don't kill anyone!

I start downregging on Friday so we should be together on the 2ww which is 2 week wait!!! you should really take it easy after Embryo Transfere.

Hi All
how are you all doing Just a quick question if your donor pulls out through not having enough eggs (ie. only 6-8) do you still have to pay for the cycle?? It's just that we can't really afford to do this again and the thought that we may have to pay and not even get any of the eggs is a bit of a worry. Hope you can help, going to enjoy a nice glass of wine now before I have to give it up! Trace not long now how you coping??

hi all

Hope you dont mind me joining you, I've been in with the March buddies but as I've only been sniffing a week I'm a bit far behind all of them and you all here seem closer to my time scale.

Someone earlier in the postings was saying she was dreading to start sniffing because of all the side efects, I've been ok so far just irratable when my DH turned of the grill when i was using it to finish making Sunday dinner- under normal circumstances this would not have phased me, so not so bad so far.

anyway
bye for now.

Hello Aly
I ,m not sure if this applied to every clinic so it best to check with yours
But when this happen to us the donor had 8 eggs (folices)and had the right to keep them,we did not have to pay the money just went to the next time.thay did say we could have the money back ,then followed that by saying that it would go up by £400 as the fee were going up !! so we left it with them .
hope this is some help

Aly
They told us that if any less then 8 eggs the donor Either:
Gives them all to us and the next cycle she keeps the lot
OR
Keeps them herself and we loose £350 and she wont ever be alowd to donate again
if there is an odd number we get it!

Well hope that covers all
our TMT is costing £3500 plus ICSI £850 Plus Drugs ( but I had enough from the last cycle )

Trace x
1st cycle own eggs Neg
2nd cycle own eggs Neg
3rd cycle cousins eggs Neg
4th cycle unknown donor eggs Neg
