PMA is starting to run out now - think I managed not too bad the first 9 days but starting to struggle now - probably because I am tierd not sleeping too well now.

Hi everyone, How is everyone doing on the 2WW? I am not doing so well because things are not going smoothly here at all. Here is what has been going on. Hopefully, you ladies will be able to help me decipher what is happening.

Yesterday evening I got a very faint line on a HPT. The line appeared in the time limit and it was definately light pink. (good news huh?). I did two more test all very faint pink lines which could be seen when reading the test normally, no straining the eyes, tilting the test sticks, or holding the test up to the light. Needless to say DH and I were cautiously happy and anticipating the possibilty of twins since the testing was so early (6dp6dt).

Last night, however, I had some spotting. Not enough to get on my panties but it was definately there when I wiped. The spotting has slowed down significantly by this morning and I can only notice scants amount if I press the tissue against my vagina (sorry if too much information). I took the day off of work regardless.

The third little piece of this puzzle is that my temperture spiked this morning raising .6 degrees over night.

The HPT I took this morning still shows a faint line, but I can't really tell if the line has gotten any darker. I am afraid of my mind playing tricks on me, so I am staying cautious.

I think I am off to the store to buy more HPT. I want to see if the bleeding picks up when I am more active.

One question I have is: Since I am on progesterone will my temperture dip if I start my period or will the progesterone keep my temps up even when I start?

Anyway, what do you ladies take from everything I have said? Any advice or words of encouragment. I need someone you can think rationally to tell me how I should be feeling.

mia-

i would not worry to much about the bleeding, as long as it was not bright red... and i do not know about the temp thing?? sorry... and testing 6 days post is what i plan on doing.... i'm trying to wait 7, but do not know if i can... the line will not get much darker over night... it's usually a day or two to get darker..

i would look at it as if you got a positive...... just watch the blood as to it doesn't get bright and heavy... do you test bloods on the 11th?? if you do, they will know the exact HCG level, as HPT only test 50 PPM.

take care

I just wanted to tell you all to hang in there. both times on my 2ww I have got discouraged at the end because I had not many symptoms, and started having a glass of wine with dinner etc. But this time I got the positive on day 14, so I should avhe been more careful.

Hi Sue - I do feel a bit better today thanks I am still fairly postive but trying hard not to get my hopes up because the disappointment would crush me.

How many prg tests :?: Hope you are ok - hang on in there only two more sleeps

DH surprised me last night and we went to Liverpool to see Grease - it was great to get out and have something take my mind of it for a bit. we also had a meal at the local pub before we went but about one hour after I ate it I was really sick - I think it may have been the garlic :!: But I have had the same meal before and not been sick - is it too early to get sickness :?:

Mia - hope you are ok

Anyway do feel better today yesterday was a low day
Hope everyone else is holding up ok

Lots of love

Hi All

Well I've made it through wk 1 of 2ww i am now on day 9 and feeling quite low but have been out spending, which always helps!!
Had lots of discomfort in my stomach yesterday which seems to have dissapeared today. My boobs have become toooooo sore to touch but do seem to have grown slightly...... that, i am not complaining about!!!
My face is also covered in spots which makes me think AF may be due to visit. I just look forward to being back in control!

Anyway...... How's everyone else holding up??

Hi, it is nice to know someone else is obsessed with HPT. I know I have bought just as many as you have Sue. I also bought three different brands (just in case). Well.....

I am positive on all three types of tests and on two of the types the line are pretty dark!!!! I guess that means I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!! I still cannot believe this has worked. I get to go in Tuesday for a blood test, so then I will know some numbers.

The spotting was over as quickly as it started, but I am still being cautious. i think getting a positive is just like getting an extension on the 2WW becasue it doe not stop any of the worry.

julesg-i love grease!!! hope that the sickness is actually from "something" we have only 4 more days....

nicky- hope that you are doing well, and getting through this 2WW as well as possiable!!!

as for me, i did a hpt today, i know that it's early, it was -ive... now i'm looking at that as just that it's not going to be twins, but still a singleton not enough hcg yet... i'm sure i'll test again monday, but then none till wednesday...

hope that everyone is coping!!!

COLLEEN (yes I'm shouting ) You said you'd wait until tomorrow. What's the story? Can't blame you of course......

Mia...sounds pretty darn +ve to me! Can't wait for you to get confirmation on Tuesday. Well done! :D

Jules....PMA, PMA, PMA you've got to keep it up otherwise these last few days will be torture.

Sue....13? for goodness sakes, pl. either buy one more or chuck one away, just to get off that number!

Nixx....the spots are more likelty to be a reaction to all the extra hormones in your system vs. AF. Think positive!!

I'm feeling a bit excited as I've been slightly dizzy today. Anyone else had this? Not normal for me at all so whilst not getting carried away, I like it as a sign that something is different, daft isn't it

Hugs to us all,
Debra.
