Hi girls how are you all doing? Hope everyone's slapping away nicely

Waiting (a little impatently) for AF to come so I can start the puregon. Not doing too well with the injections this time round.

hurts like hell. Not long now for AF to show up.

Hows everyone's xmas shooping going?

Hi,
I started the medications for my first cycle of IVF today. I've previously had one failed attempt at IUI and 5 unsuccessful years of trying naturally with my fantastically supportive husband. I've just stumbled across this site and know that it will be a fantastic help over the next few weeks.Good luck to everyone who is currently mid cycle!

Welcome Molly,

I hope that the injections are going well and that you end up with a BFP in the end. The 2ww can be torturous, so I say this website is awesome for killing some of the time.

My clinic gives the evil

HTP pee stick to everyone i have met on 2ww at that clinic...I thought it was confusing too but apparently it depends on what meds you are on.
You could ask at your clinic about you?

Jeni - are you having a scan tomorrow? If you are I hope all is good. I wish my clinic would give those HPT because I buy my own. I know, I know, I should not use them but I can not stop myself.

kagome - hoping AF is soon here. I can not believe I am hoping for AF to come for someone!!!! Once it is here then you are a go.

Thanks for the welcome messages. I can foresee that this site will be great during the 2ww. That nearly did my head in when I was having IUI. Thankfully Christmas shopping etc will help distract as well.
How are others coping?

Gailp - hows it going? Still feeling a bit down - watch a really classic movie - I hear they have re-released the Sound of Music with a sing-a-long section. The hills are alive with the sound of music

sorry guys i thought i had posted on here too....I am balancing between nov-embies and dec-embies.

Glad to hear you are all well.

Scan was okay...5 follies, all mixed sizes. So the doc has decided to go for broke on Friday. which is great cos my boobs are killing me with 13 days stimming of 350 gonal. Not that DF is complaining. They haven't been that big since i was preggers!
Took my hcg tonight. (BOY! is that wee needle thick...nothing like the gonal needles which are smaller and thinner. OUCH! )So at ER for 8.30 am on Friday. Nervous but cause there are only 5 follies not too scared.
A BIG thank you to you all for your moral support and encouragement...here is hoping we get to ET.... xx

Jag- thanks for the encouragement- the injections are going fine so far- on day three today and haven't had to resort to slapping yet!
Gailp- I think the "Sound of Music" sounds like a great mood lifter!!!! The louder you sing, the happier you'll feel!
Kagome- thanks too for your support

Let's hope that December is a fantastic month for the Dec-embies
(Gosh- can't believe I am picking up on the jargon already).
