Hi Ladies,

Thank you all so much for the sticky wishes and warm thoughts. :D I have spent the last couple of days finishing up work projects and getting ready for my 3 days of bed rest. My RE called on Saturday to tell me that I have 3 embies waiting to be transfered. :) Prayerfully that is still the case when I go to the office in a few hours. Interestingly enough, it is 2am and I can't sleep a wink - too many emotions running through me right now. So... I figured I should check in and see how my message board friends are doing.

cheekyone - Sending lots of hugs ((hugs)) and PMA your way.
2babiesforkaren - Thanks for the encouraging story. Your fortitude is inspiring. :)
CT_Michele - Sending hugs ((hugs)) your way!
beth84, dogzrule, babiesgalore, dessib08, starwishes, and everyone else on the 2ww - I'm sending up extra prayers for each of you... And here I come!
butterfly78 - Be encouraged because it won't last much longer since your ER in coming up pretty soon.
lw918 - Hopefully you are doing a better job at getting some sleep than I am. :) Lots of sticky dust to you :!:
gi - Loved the comment about walking down the street naked if someone asked  At some point we all probably feel that way.

Sending lots of baby dust and warm wishes your way ladies!

Hello ladies!
Just had my blood test- should find out in a couple of hours if I will be hitting the wine tonight or keeping with the carrot juice! Not a very PMA way of looking at it - but it kind of feels like waiting for your numbers to come up in the lottery. You dream about it, but can't quite believe it could happen to you!
gi- i know what you mean about being prodded and poked - nothing feels indecent any more!
dogzrule - love the BFP phone conversation! Think I'm going to let my DH take my call - or maybe not....
Thinking of all of you - lots of sparkling, twinkling baby dust to you all x

Hi ladies, just a quick one as i have an acupuncture session in half an hour! I just wanted to say yeah! i have just had my scan and my body has responded much better to the higher doses over the weekend - it looks like im around the same as sunny girl with about 5 or 6 follies that are growing now :D So i have two more days of stimming and another scan on wednesday to see how my bad boys are going - ive just had poached eggs for my lunch - am thinking if i eat eggs maybe my body will make more by wednesday (i am seriously losing my sanity now - you wouldnt believe i was a scientist would you??!!!LOL).

Anyway better go for some more needles to be stuck in my body - neddles - i laugh in the face of needles now!! Brinng it on girls - its definitely a pma day!

Starwishes - i have everything i own crossed for you - and hope that glass of wine is a distant 9 months away for you (and of course all of us!)

take care and baby dust to all!

Lupron start day!

Post by Faith9455 »

So here is is, finally arrived. Lupron starting tonight, and my last BCP will be Friday. I've decided to do some self pampering through all this. Weekly accupuncture, bi weekly mani-pedi and weekly massage. DH and I went to church yesterday and the sermon was all about creation...with a focus on dirt. Hopefully my soil will be fertile this time around. We had alot of talks this weekend about support, me needing more of it. He has kids from his previose marriage, a boy and a girl, 7 & 9. I've asked him to really pay attention to where we are in the cycle and to take the kids out solo if I'm having a hard time. I love the weekends they are with us when I'm feeling positive, but have a hard time dealing with the bickering and what not when I'm feeling down or am at the tail end of the 2WW. Because they have no idea what we're going through, it's tough. I just can't wait to tell them they'll have a brother or sister..or both :)

Tryn4#2We're cycle buddies as well!

Beth &DogzTwo more days to wait!! Big time baby dust to you both

Babies-

I hope your 2WW is not a hard one..if that's possible

2BabiesforKaren-
We're almost the same cycle as well..one day off :)

Starwishes-

Hello Ladies,
Hope you are all having a fab day. I know I am. :0

lw918 - good luck today on your transfer. I hope everything goes well.

Starwishes - I hope to see a BFP post today!! Are you practicing receiving your BFP call for RE like some of the ladies are? I would be. :)

Path Finder - Good luck with ET today. I hope all goes well.

Helengb - I love your egg idea. I don't see why eating more eggs won't make you produce more. lol You are what you eat, right? LMAO. I feel the same way about needles now. I started doing A/P and the during my first session the DR said oh you're doing so well. I'm thinking in my head PLEASE this is a joke compared to what I have to do to myself. lol

Katie99 - are you doing a fresh cycle or FET? I saw you mention stims already so I didn't know. I guess we might not be cycle twins after all.

AFM, thank you all for the AF dance. It worked. I go in tomorrom am for baseline. Can't wait to get started. Once I get my schedule from my RE I'll update everyone. According to my calculations, I should be doing ER around Sept 7th.

Have a great day ladies!

Thank you ladies for your lovely supportive messages. Looks like I'll be on the carrot juice for a while i hope - v. happy as have a BFP!!!
I would advise anyone on the 2ww not to take a HPT but wait for the blood test - i took one a couple of days ago before the spotting and it was negative, hence my general lack of PMA!
Johannanita - Was so amazed as I think I convinced myself it wasn't to be that I had only practised the BFN conversation with the RE!
gi - I think the good old Irish sticky dust helped there - I am off to visit my parents in ireland in a couple of days so planning to collect more of it over the next week - so more to spread around!
Faith- hang in there!
Helengb - Good luck with the needles!! Am considering getting some acupuncture myself even though my clinic doesn't agree with it- not too sure why as I know studies show it's supposed to really help.
katie - all power to you for your 4 hour trip tomorrow!
Lots of PMA and bucket loads of baby dust to you all! Xxx

starwishes - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another BFP here makes me hopeful.

I have been having a very tough morning. I had a tiny bit of spotting on the toilet paper this morning, which is typical of me getting ready to start my period. I also started to feel some very light cramping, also very typical of a period coming soon for me. I keep trying to tell myself that these are also common signs of a pregnancy, but I have NO OTHER symptoms of being pregnant. I'm trying so hard to hang in there, but it's getting tougher. I refuse to take a HPT because I'm terrified of seeing a BFN, so I am waiting until the blood test Wednesday. And I have nothing to do but sit around and think about it. Ugh.

Well Thank God they DIDNT call, so last night was my first shot of Lupron. I forgot to wait for the alcohol to dry I was so anxious just to do and it stung like crazy! This morning though was a breeze!

Penny-

It looks like we'll be neck and neck in the baby race :)

How many days will you be on Lupron before starting stims?

I'm starting Lupron tonight, last BCP on Fri and they have my baseline/tentitive stim start date as Aug 7th if I'm supressed. I was just wondering if 11 days is typical for length of time beween supression and stim?

Thanks!
