The girls said it has been a fun week thought I said yes lets try to encourage her to take more vacations more often. lol well she might after she knows we can handle everything while she is away. I will definately post more tomorrow since it's my off day! :D Know that each one of you are in my prayers and I hold you close to my heart!

akdelp hoping your U/S goes good on Friday. I can understand you not being excited about the shots. I found myself looking at a video yesterday on You Tube showing how to give gonal F shots. We just have to remind ourselves we are doing it for something great.

fvrogers having your date moved up is exciting and nerve wracking at the same time, but you are just a week or so closer to your BFP. I'm glad your DH will make it home for the 2ww, it will be nice to have him around to keep your mind occupied during that time. Squeezing a vacation in might just be what you and DH need :).

leorira11 I'm so sorry about your past loses, I know nothing I say can make the pain less but know that you and your DH are in my thoughts often.

WeHaveHope 9/30 is right around the corner I am getting so excited for you. I can't wait to read about your BFP, cause I just know its coming. I think its gonna be great when all of us ladies are due with babies around the same time next year :).

anton its great that you have kept yourself busy. I am so glad that you have great doctors that you feel so comfortable with. Had you ever done PGD testing on your embryos? I have done allot of research on this as I will be having it done as well and everything I have read has been positive. Then you know you are only transfering the healthiest embryos.

Cheri76 I know the waiting is hard, I am right there with you. I will be cycling the first two weeks in November and some days it seems like a lifetime away. Just think we might know we are pregnant around Thanksgiving and have something extra special to celebrate. Hold tight it will be here before we know it.

LYD10 I'm glad you will be making some progress on Tuesday, I think the not having a plan with dates would be enough to frustrate anyone. I am with you for AF in October, I am on BCP rightnow and have 1 month and 10 days left, for financial reasons I need to wait until I finish my pills in October :(, which will be on the 23rd, then I can start. Here is hoping time starts to fly for both of us.

Kiminsh glad things will start moving forward for you, crazy to think we want AF to come :).

Sunshine1576 love the pic of the dog, they are like little kids getting into mischief, but I love the unconditional love they bring. I have two Boston Terriers and they are the best, they make me laugh daily and couldn't imagine not having them in my life.

AFM I am enjoying two days off from work. Spent the day yesterday mopping the floors and today I am baking a cheese cake for my coworkers. On a good note I talked to my boss and he is going to hold my position for me at work and let me just go on LWOP for the entire month of November. If my cycle does not work I will have a job to go back to, so I am happy about that. Since we are out of pocket on our exspenses its important for me to be able to continue to bring in some funds for future try's. I woke this morning it was 41 degrees outside, so fall is definantly here, I think today I will bring out the Halloween decorations and it will remind me that I am a step closer to starting this process. Thanks for all the wonderful support here and especially to you WE, you are amazing for keeping this all kept up.

Here is a picture of my dogs, Molly is the larger one and Tank is the smaller one. He always wants to cuddle with her, I think its so sweet.

WehaveHope - I'm glad you are moving forward in your journey. How nice yoru husband is a nurse. My husband refuses to give the injection. He is too scared.

Cheri - happy belated BD

Shunshine and stars - How exciting for you. I hope all goes well. Grow babies grow!

Indigofire my prayers are with you.

leorirall - you are right, no regrets. I have given up a lot to do this ivf. It is just my nerves getting the best of me. I always think, I'll be the one with the weird case.
I'm sorry about your loss. I also had a mc. I know we will see our babies in heaven.

Tamera - save me a piece of cheesecake

akdelp - I hope your US comes out great and you are a go.

fvrogoers - lots of nurses on the board! wow! Excited for you. My husband is not here either.

AFM -

9/11/2011 Sunday - Stubbed my toe which is now black and blue and got a huge insect bite that keeps growing. Why now?

9/12/2011 Monday - doctor's appointment. Cyst check one went away completly and the other one diminished slighly from the BCP. Estrodiol level was 17! CBC ok. I'm a go. Went over Lupron injections with nurse.

9/13/2011 Tuesday - Started microdose lupron 20 units am and PM. The first shot took me forever. I think I jabbed my stomach 3 times before it went in. The PM injection I ended up throwing up but not sure if it was the Lupron or the benadryl I took for my bug bite. Does Lupron make you feel lightheaded and weak?

9/14/2011 Wednesday - Continue micordose lupron am and pm. Finally watched a youtube video to see what I was doing wrong. I was not leading with the damn bevel. thank god for youtube.

9/15/2011 Thursday - Microdose Lupron 20 units, Start FSH/HMG ( I think I will go with Bravelle vs Follistim. Cheaper and I only have to do 2 injections vs 3 cause you can mix with Menopur. Start Cipro 250 mg morning and night. Start Dexamethasone .5mg. Asprin 81mg.

Are any of you using Bravelle?
9/16/2011 Friday - Intralipid infusion at clinic. Same protocol as above.

9/21/2011 Ultrasound estradiol prolactin at clinic.

This lupron is making me loopy. After the shot I feel tired and weak. And I am voiding more.

So I am off to work, but since everyone is sharing photos of their beloved pets, I will as well. Did I mention that I have 2 pooches and 2 kitties. I must be crazy. I love takin photos. It's my favorite hobby. Sorry I took up so much space on the page, but I did not have a photo of the four of them together. By the way, I love all of the photos that have been posted. Too cute!!!

Fruit - DOR is diminished Ovarian reserve. usually it is diagnosed with low antral follicle counts, low amh levels and high FSH. I have DOR and where my FSH levels are good, my amh is only a .4 and my antral follicle counts have been as low as 5. also poor egg quality is associated.

Felicia - my DH almost never makes it to my transfers (I think he's been at 1 or 2) - it's not so bad. Bring something to do during the wait and the 'bed rest' afterwards to take your mind off of things. Having sex during the 2ww is probably fine - people who conceive on their own have sex during the 2ww all the time, right? I think that IVFers don't because we are extra concerned, but I don't think there has been any research showing that it's okay or not-okay. (We usually do - and I've gotten pregnant 3 times)

Lyd - I hope the D&C goes smoothly and helps your beta hCG levels drop off much faster. I went through slow-beta-drop hell last year after my miscarriage. I'm sorry.

Tamera - so glad to hear you are getting your time off of work. I've been out of work since Feb (although I wasn't looking while I was pregnant) and it's no fun and quite boring.

Kamina - OUCH! That toe sounds painful - maybe you should ask a doctor about it? Maybe it's broken?

AFM - having another really hard day. Spent a lot of today with a friend who has a 2 week old baby girl. I was holding her and she did something that reminded me of something Asaf used to do... I can't believe he is dead and buried while her little girl has her whole life ahead of her....

I haven't been sleeping much at night (only a few hours). I keep meaning to call my psychiatrist and ask for some sleeping pills becuase this is ridiculous. I've gotten maybe 10 hours of sleep in the last 4 days.

On my drive home, I knew I was too tired to be driving safely -- but what really scares me is how I didn't care. I didn't care if I crashed my car. I kept thinking that any pain I physically feel after I crash my car would be nohting compared to my emotional pain.

I also haven't eaten anything all day. DH is trying to cook something to tempt me. I may eat something even though I have no appetite....

Time to make an appt with the psychiatrist again, I guess. Not sleeping, not eating and feeling suicidal is not a good thing.

Leora-oh honey, I am so sorry that you feel so sad. I can't tell you that I understand how you feel because I ive never lost a child but I can feel your pain and it is overwhelming. I wish there was something that I could do to make your pain disappear, to make you feel better, to make you want to continue on this journey. What I can tell you is that if you have seen a psychiatrist in the past and have developed a relationship with one then you should call him or her right away. Sometimes we all need a little help from a professional. In times like this remember how much your DH loves you. Both of you have been to hell and back and have grown stronger in doing so. Pray for peace in your heart and the strength to keep going. I want you to know that I admire you so much. Your loving demeanor, your willingness to always help others, your strength, and your determination. You are very special, don't ever forget that. I am sending you a BIG HUG and please know that I will be praying for you. Please reach out whenever you need to. I am always here for you.

Leora, I am so sorry. Please go see a therapist or a psychiatrist and also I would stay away from friends with babies for now. It's too hard on yourself now, too raw. Please be careful and hang out with single friends or childless friends. Seriously, its too much for you now to be hanging around newborns!!!
