Hi Little P - we had a quiet night so that meant plenty of sleep for a change but it's not possible to have total rest with a nearly-2-year-old. I'm not complaining, she's the light of my life, but tricky to combine with taking it easy.

Others do it, so can I!

Finally !!!!! I've started on burseling injections .. woo hoo! On the very scary and big countdown to 9th May for EC. Me and DH spent the whole afternoon at the hospital and got the low down and all the needles. Have to say sat and shook for 1/2 hour after injections - I am such a poof!!
Tons and tons of PMA to Debra and Delly and anyone else I've missed who's going through EC or ET this week - here's to lots of Christmas babies

Hi All, Finally some good news - we are still on for ET on Sunday with my wee little embi at 13:00.

Good luck to all with the injections, EC and ET this coming week!

Off to walk my other 'babies' (2 norfolk terriers) to get some fresh air.

Hi I just started on suprecur(buserelin)yesterday,it has been a long slog to get here so really releived to get started! I have been feeling really thirsty with a lump in my throat does or did anyone else feel like this and what else have I got to come,also how long does it normally take to down regulate and start on stimms

we'll be cycling together cos I started burselin yersterday too. Didn't get a dry throat but I did get itching at the injection site (the nurse said I would) and have hot flushes last night. But I got hot flushes with Clomid so I guess there's no hope!!
Anyway here's to a happy cycle for both of us.

Hi Tylerb and Welcome

Like Eskavon I got itchyness around the injection point, a red rash and sometimes a bit of a lump

I think you will find that we all react differently - have you read the info sheet provided with the drugs, there is usually a very comprehensive list of possible side-effects on that if you are concerned.

hi everybody ,
Back from the cinic, had another scan, got 12 follicules on right ovarie and 6 on the left one....
I don't know if such a high number is good, i'm worried about the ohss...or overstimulation!!!!i need to reduce my puregon dosage tonight, normal on saturday and reduce to 150 on sunday.
Going back on monday for blood test and scan.
The consultant and nurse were quite confident, all is fine and normal, follicules are growing and wromb lining is getting thicker.
Keep u posted, hope u all getting on fine too.
Will have EC next week but don't know when yet, my follicules are still too small to collect.

Hello Ladies!

I haven't got the chance to post here the last few days. I had my scan last wed., April 6th and had my blood test done as well. I had to get up early to get to the clinic to get them done so I was sooo--- sleepy when the nurse called me. All I remember her saying to me was that everything's going well, my E2 was 400 and I had a couple of good follicles. I had already hung up the phone when I realized I didn't ask her how many follicles did I actually have.

Just got back today from the clinic for another scan and blood test. So I'll know the results by this afternoon. Unfortunately, the ultrasound tech's not allowed to give us any results.

Congratulations to everyone's progress. Delly I hope I get as many follicles as you do too.

Delly .. Don't worry dear, you're way off OHSS at the moment - you sound like you're coming along just nicely !!

Eskavon ... You must be well chuffed to get started at last. I started Buserelin Tuesday this week, so we're at almost the same part of our cycles.

Traci ... You must be over the moon - what a relief that baby embi is doing his stuff and hanging on for you to drop in on Sunday ! Hope it all goes to plan.

Debra ... Hope today's not been too painful. There's no better way to pass time than with a good book. Even better tomorrow - a good book and a sofa ! .... my AF's NEVER early - so as you say it must be the meds - in fact, on last 2 cycles AF has always been a couple of days late at this stage. Had a really crappy day at work ... stomach ache, headache all afternoon .... nevermind ..

Tylerb - Your stimming will begin about 3 days after your AF starts.

Little P .. Hope you're okay .. I saw your news about NK cells .. nasty, but at least now you know and can be proactive. Got to think positive. Thank goodness results back and you can move on ..

Elle .. Hope your results from the scan today shows you're moving along as planned... lots of PMA !
