Thanks for the encouragement ladies! I'm feeling a bit better and am going to keep reminding myself that I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING until I get the call on Wednesday. How awesome would it be to have nothing but BFP on this board???? beth and I are next on Wednesday, and I think cheekyone is right behind us.

Penny - I am so excited that you are so excited to have started all the poking!

Johannanita - SO glad that AF has arrived! You are well on your way my dear!

Helen - grow follies grow! YAY!!!!

OMG. U ladies are busy bees here with the fingers. I stayed away for 2 days and had two pages to read.

First, Starwishes - CONGRATULATIONS! This is def a sign for lots more to come. Am so happy for u! Our second BFP on this board! Yeah! Bring back lots of baby dust for all of us.

Dogzrule: Hang in there. Do not try to analyze every change in u're body. Sending u lots of PMA and i know u and beth will be our next set of BFPs. Only two more days to go. Keep u'reself busy. Everything is cross for u!

Penny - so glad that u have started the shots. Not long to go now.

Faith - u too. yeah for the suppression shots! soon the stims will start and we will do the follie dance for u and Penny2. Everyone's protocol varies. I was on Lupron for 8 days. Good luck

Johannanita - how did the baseline go?

Katie99: so glad the AF dance worked. Who would've thought we're so happy to see it come? now hoping it stays away for 9 months.

lw: good luck with the ET. Lots of sticky dust to u.

helengb: yeah for the follies! These babies grow very fast so am sure u will end up with some good number. Hang in there. Grow follies grow!

Cheeky: how is the 2ww going? i have just started and have another two weeks to go. Not sure how i will manage.

gi: i am totally with u about not being shy anymore. My DH keeps telling me that they number of people that have "buggered" me i should be on the internet. LOL

Baby dust to everyone! going to my last A/P in a bit. Hope this is it!

Congrats Starwishes!!!!!
This cycle my RE put me on Endometrium suppositories. All my other cycles I have used Prometrium capsule/inserts. Can anyone shed some light on the difference between the two? Is one better then the other? Thanks

FKM: I am also on Endometrium suppositotires. Not heard of prometrium ones. I use to do the PIO shots on my prior cycles but my RE said that they received a lot of complaints about the shots and found out there isn't any difference between shots or suppositories so they are not prescribing suppositories for most patients. U may want to ask u're re.

Well we recieved some different news than we expected this morning.
Last week at the ER 14 eggs were retrieved and 11 fertilized, 3 days later 7 were going strong so we just knew we'd have several great ones to choose from and at least a couple left for freeze.
That was not the case for us! This morning when we were awaiting our procedure the lab gal came in to tell us that since there weren't many doing too week the dr wanted to transfer 3. He came in after and explained that one egg was at the blastocyst stage and 2 were "average" grade Morulas (sp????). I'm not certain what that means, but that's what we had! HAHA! SOooooo he wanted to go ahead and transfer all three and then there were several more that weren't prgressing. They were going to wait and watch them and see if anything changed, but it was almost certain we wouldn't be freezing.
That's ok though because THIS IS GOING TO WORK! :D

So Three little embies were put back and we've got 9 days before we find out how many have decided to stick with us.

And question:
Has anyone else had positive pregnancy results with a 5 day morula transfer?

Is it normal for my ovarian areas to be really tight? I have been really really sore and swollen for a long time, but ever since the transfer than have been really tight, like I can't quite stand up all of the way.

Personals ina few!!!

Star CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! So happy for you- keep sending those positive vibes to us all

Pathfinder I'm sending sticky dust your way. When is your Beta?

DOGZ Don't get discouraged. I've only been on these boards a couple of weeks and seen so many amazing stories of success. Every single lady here has a different body and a different story. Just relax, you're almost there!

Faith congratulations on starting your lupron. I was on it for 11 days before starting stims.

Johannanita Really glad the ball seems to be rolling for ya!

And that is as far as my topic review lets me go and I've forgotten all the other things I was going to type!!!!

All you 2WW'ers--- sit tight!!! You don't have much longer to go. Just think how fast this process went from the beginning!

All of you stimming, waiting, etc! PATIENCE!! It'll be here before you know it :)

Hello ladies,

Wow another BFP, that is so great... Congrats starwishes.

Dogz - keep up the PMA, you have good news in store. You were the first to reach out and welcome me and have always been so supportive... I just know this will work for such a nice gal!!!!

I had another doctors appointment today. Geez, how many times will I be going in. She said I could have up to 5 ultra-sounds, yikes. Well the Lupron was a breeze but the stims, well... let's just say I am not crazy about them.

The side I did the injection in last night, I could feel all day. It is like something is moving in there, weird! the needles were longer and I had to push them for a longer period. Plus, my sweet and cheery disposition has turned to severe PMS type symptoms. Everything makes emotional.

Plus, I am sooooo scared about OHSS.

Aside fromt that, I feel blessed to be able to take this jorney and have all of you to share it with.

Lots of Love!!!

Sorry - I'm having a really busy day without much internet time - will do more personals later, but just wanted to do a couple quick notes...

Star - CONGRATS! So happy for you!

Dogz, my cycle twin - I've been discouraged too, and it's important to reiterate everything you have said to us, and others have said too. We don't know anything until the beta. Seems like a little bit of spotting is not a sure sign of anything. Think positive, and stay strong! It's almost Wednesday! (((Hugs)))

Joining in? In middle of 2ww period...arrghh!

Post by amandas05 »

Hi Ladies,

Hope I'm not too late to join into this monthly group. I am on my 2nd IVF/ICSI cycle (1st was 4/09 w/2 Grade 1 ET, but BFN). I had my 2nd FET on 7/22/09, 2-Grade 2 and 1- Grade 3. I'm now waiting for my beta 8/2 and going crazy. I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms other than mildly tender breasts, which I think could be all the progesterone/estrogen supps I'm on. Is anyone is same boat? Do you have any symptoms? Appreciate any advice, as this waiting is much worse than all of the shots combined.

thanks,
Amanda

Slightly shorter cycle!

Post by Faith9455 »

I called my nurse this afternoon because I thought something was up with my schedule and that I was going to be on BCP to long. Sure enough, I was right. Although a couple extra days isn't a big deal...this just means tonight is my last BCP along with Lupron start. This also means I'll start Stims 2 days earlier and hopefully be pregnant two days earlier as well :) Two days less of injections is FINE BY ME! This just proves that reading carefully and self advocating is very important.

Baby dust to all :)

Cressicaw I ended up having 5 ultrasounds before they decided it was time to trigger. It seems like a lot, but I actually enjoyed the fact that it made the time go faster!

Beth Try not to be discouraged!! Your Beta is nearly here and you gotta keep that chin up!! Great things are in store for you!

Amanda WELCOME! you're definatly not too late to join us! In fact, your ahead of me. I really can't offer you any help on what you're feeling because i just had my transfer this morning. However, I've already started analyzing ever tiny thing----- it's going to be a looonnngggg 9 days at this rate!

starwishes- CONGRATULATIONS! i hope you are officially celebrating with sparkling carrot juice! thanks for becoming another mommy and giving us all hope! :D

cressicaw- stay busy and it will all be over soon. i finally go for my ER tomorrow. as i now look back i think it went by quickly ( not in the moment mind you....especially since i am out of town and not working). wait, come to think of it, i am starting to miss the damn injections! ( just kidding!) hope you feel better. and by the way, i am new to this too  but after a few u/s apps. , like all of the other ladies say, you get used to being naked and poked at! i think its called "desensitized!"

amandas05- welcome and keep up the PMA! soon you will hopefully be another BFP on our board too! less than a week to go for you and soon we will also hear BFP's from three of our other wonderful mommy's to be! :P

keep smiling and praying everyone!

lw, thanks for the welcome!

I am still getting the hang of all of these acronyms, my first time posting on a board. Anyway, I said this was an FTE, but actually it was a new stim cycle, new embryos. We didn't have enough to freeze from Cycle 1 or 2, so if this one doesn't work, we'll have to start all over again. Still have 6 days to go to beta, so keep thinking positive. I am afraid to do HPT to get either a false positive or negative, but not sure I can wait til Sun.

So if anyone has had or not had pregnancy symptoms during 2ww, I'd love to hear more? Also, are you all abstaining from sex? Funny, though my ovaries are still swollen, I'm missing my DH!

Positive thoughts to everyone!
