Franny - That was so sweet of DH!! Hope you're enjoying your first full day of being PUPO! Do you know when your beta will be?

Chili - Glad that you and DH made the decision and those embies are gonna make it! Can't wait until you're PUPO!

Tammy - Have fun with Zach's birthday party today!! I just can't wait to hear what your first beta is.

Teresa - How you holding up? Are you still going to POAS this weekend? I'm on pins and needles waiting for your beta!

dawgs - Any news from you? I know your beta is set for Monday, have you POAS or are you going to wait for the beta?

lauren1171 - You are making me so thankful that I can use my Endometrin instead of the Crinone...no feta cheese for me please LOL! The Endometrin was slightly irritating (externally) but no real discharge so I'll stick with that.

I'm so excited at how our list has grown and since Fall hasn't even officially started yet, I'm sure it will keep on growing! It's a great group and it's going to be FULL of BFPs!! For the newcomers, just let me know as you move on to different parts of your cycle (waiting for AF, taking BCP, injectables (like Lupron), stims, etc.) so I can make sure I move you to the right spot on the list. And of course if I miss one of your updates and forget to move you or update something, don't hesitate to let me know. :)

Ana -- So sorry for your chemical. But your boys are gorgeous. I just love the pic you have in your signature.

Tess-- How cool we have a Kiwi joining us. I fell in love with New Zealand when I was there 5 years ago. I've often wondered how difficult it would be for me to transfer my pharmacist license to NZ and move there. Funny story.... my DH and I were in Morocco and made some friends traveling. One guy was from NZ and we did not keep in touch after the trip but 3 years later, DH and I were in a bar in Wellington and the guy we met in Morocco was there! He came up and was like "I have GOT to buy you guys a beer!" Fun times. Anyways... welcome, welcome, welcome. I guess we forget about those in the southern hemisphere when we name the group.

Lauren319 -- GL on your u/s!

Franny -- OMG, I am BURSTING with excitement for you! How wonderful to have 3 awesome embies to transfer. I don't think it gets any better than that!

klinger -- I'll start the AF dance for you so you can get your cycle under way. Happy Birthday! I hope you have a great day!

Ryann -- Sorry you are having such a bad AF. I guess it must be like the BFN AF's which totally suck. I'm glad you made a decision to stay with your RE for the FET. But they better treat you right! What clinic do you use? And which one would you consider moving to? I'm in Chicagoland as well and I go to Advanced Fertility Center of Chicago. I love them, but I wonder if I get another BFN if I should consider a new approach. And Happy Birthday to your DH! I'm sorry your cake idea didn't work out.... but it most definitely will very soon. And you can make that cake. It doesn't have to be a birthday to make a cake, right?

Lauren1171 -- Thanks, I may never think of Feta Cheese the same way again! I've only done the shots, and although I hate them, I would rather do them than Crinone. I ice the spot for a few mins to numb it and make sure it's on the upper outer quadrant. Then it's not too bad. I also alternate sides. And yes, I have also threatened DH with that 1.5 inch long needle a few times myself! The first few shots aren't bad at all... but after you're good and sore... sticking that needle in repeatedly into a spot that's already sore isn't fun at all!

Nancy -- The shot isn't THAT bad.... so don't get scared. The icing beforehand does help A LOT though.

Chili -- Oh, I hate PIO as well. I'd rather do that then Crinone, but still. It DOES hurt. I ice a spot on the upper outer quadrant of my butt for 5 mins and then it is numb so it doesn't hurt as bad. I'm wishing you tons of luck with the PGD. I hope your embies are strong and perfect. When do you find out?

AFM -- I got the call yesterday and my estrogen was 93. They said they want it "less than 100", so I was given the go ahead to decrease my Lupron by half and add estrace tabs. I go back in 2 weeks on 10/1 for another SnS. My high school reunion in 10/2. I did RSVP that we're going but I saw the list of who will be there and it's not a lot of people I was close with. I know the BIG topic of discussion is going to be everyone's kids.... so I'm dreading that part a bit. I'm just gonna make sure I look hott!!! I went to the White Sox game last night. It was a pretty pathetic loss but the night was gorgeous, the beer was good, and the atmosphere was fun. They even gave away green Sox caps for "half way to St. Patrick's day". How fun is that? Here's a few pics for fun.

I am in a huge hurry. I just wanted to take a quick peak to see how my girls were doing. Glad I did! You guys crack me up! Chili....those PIO shots hurt like a b-i-yatch! I hate those things. My ass hurt so bad I could hardly walk or sit down. It was bruised all to hell. The nurse told me a story about a girl that her DH was giving her the PIO shots without changing the needle...can you imagine? I guess she asked the nurse if there was an alternative and the size of the needle. The girls was so pissed at her husband and started coming to the office to get them instead. I hate the inserts too, but would rather those anytime. I had to do both at the same time...inserts and PIO. I was on prometrium. The feta cheese comment really made me laugh...thanks Lauren! I was always wondering how it could help since it seemed to be everywhere except inside. I think that you did the right thing with your little embies. They're stronger little guys! :D

Franny....Your DH is so sweet! I actually teared up when I watched the video. A babysitter for trips is gonna be hard...but worth it! :D :D :D I am so happy for you! Congrats on being PUPO....X :D :D :D !!!

Have a great weekend ladies! I will fill you in on my stuff later!

Franny - I am SOOO excited for your AWESOME ET!! Congrats friend...praying for that BFP for you!

Chili - I saw your PGD post and I totally understand that route. Like you, I know lots of people born to parents over 40 that are perfect. My mom had me at 42, my SIL had twins at 43, and my other SIL had my nephew at 42. My Aunt and Uncle had their first at 21 and he has Downs...so it's really so hard to know. No matter what, I pray you have a great transfer and get your BFP!

Lou - Sounds like this cycle is going well for your FET!! You are going to look SMASHING at your reunion...hope it goes well!

ginger- if you click on "user control panel" & then on "profile" there's an "edit signature" button. as far as the animations, you can find them on photobucket or use the smilies that are to the right of your reply box.

babi- welcome! it's very normal to be scared & anxious, but you have found an amazing support group.

lou- wow...you are beautiful! you & dh do NOT look your ages at all! that is the main reason i have not gone to any of my high school reunions...the baby conversation. i keep in touch w/ those who i want to, so i don't mind. although, once i get my bfp, you bet your butt i will be making an appearance at one of those reunions, lol! so glad your baseline went good & you're ready to jump back in. yay for less lupron!

klinger/amanda- happy birthday pretty lady! hope you had a nice day today! Image this group is growing so fast, i love it! i think having a seasonal cycle group is great! as far as the list goes, if you'd like, you can add that i have a f/u appointment w/ my re on oct. 11th. thanks! did af show her ugly face yet?

chili/annashope/lauren1171- my dh stuck himself w/ the small belly needle before, but he is sitting here telling me that he'll do the long pio needle next time...hmm, we shall see. maybe i should record him saying that, so i have it on record. i've always done the pio & as much as the injections suck, i'm ALL SET w/ the feta, lol!

chili- have you received an update on your 2 embabies? i'm praying that they're 2 strong, little fighters.

franny- yay you're pupo my love! how freakin cute is that youtube video...your dh is a sweetheart! i'm beyond excited about this cycle...3 great embies transferred & possibly 2 to freeze...how cool! have you heard anything about those 2? your story about your et was so deatiled that i could totally visualize how it all happened. so when's your beta?

ryann- oh sweetie, i'm sorry af is being an evil witch! it stinks, especially while you're in school & are stuck in the classroom. i completely understand. i think your plan is a good idea, as much as your re is a complete douchebag...seriosuly! hope you had a great day celebrating dh's b-day.

lauren319- how was today's u/s?

tess- welcome! so sorry to hear about your m/c. i've got everything crossed that your 2 frosties will thaw out & you'll get your bfp.

anacris/ana- oh hun, i'm so sorry. (((HUGS))) your 2 boys are so adorable! hold & hug them tight & we'll be here for you when you start your fresh cycle.

victoria- i'm really sorry. it really stinks...it does. will you be meeting up w/ your re to discuss what may have gone wrong? (((HUGS)))

osi- welcome! if you click on "user control panel" & then on "profile" there's an "edit signature" button. yes, the baby-in-a-box can be a little overwhelming, but you & dh will get the hang of it.

brandy- how are you feeling? how goes the stims?

teresa- you sneaky girl! are you still planning on poas tomorrow? i'm praying for you.

alicia- welcome! so how are you feeling? have you been back to your re for any b/w or an u/s?

tammy- i'm so ecstatic for you! you & bill so deserve this & zach deserves a sibling. i cannot wait to hear how many you have in there!

afm- not much going on here. we have our appointment w/ the re on october 11th. we picked up roscoe yesterday & he is the cutest puppy ever! i'm in love.

Ester - YAY for bringing home Roscoe and having your follow-up appt with the RE set for a few weeks from now! And thank you so much for the birthday wishes! I agree on liking the seasonal group threads - it's nice to have so many ladies participating at different stages in the process. And if someone's cycle gets delayed a little, they can still stay in the same group.

babidreamz - Welcome to our Fall group!! You've come to the right place for support and people to cheer you on in the process!

Lou - thanks for the birthday wishes and I love the pics you posted! You and your DH are so cute together, I love it! And I'm so glad your results came back positive and you're a go for your FET!

Tammy - How did Zach's b-day party go? I know you were going to tell the party-goers your great news so can't wait to hear their reaction.

Lauren319 - Hope your SnS yesterday went well. Let us know when you get a chance!

Brandy/Alicia/jla018 - how goes the stimming? When are your SnS appointments to see how your follies are cooking in there?

AFM - I was pretty down in the dumps most of the day yesterday, not due to getting older LOL but it had just been a rough week with my kids having issues, gimping around all week with pain in my calf, etc so I was feeling pretty drained from all of that. But as the day went on my spirits lifted so thank goodness for that. I start physical therapy for my leg on Tuesday (doc thinks it's tendonitis where one of my calf muscles attaches to the back of the knee) and will go 3x a week for a month. At least the timing is good on that - by the time I'm done with PT, I'll hopefully be starting my SnS appts (fingers crossed.) No AF yet, but the spotting's turning "more pink" so I'm hopeful that means she's almost here. I just want AF to get here so I can get those last two screening tests done and know we're good to go for a mid-October start! So thanks for doing the AF dance for me. :D

Hi All,
Alot has changed since my last post! My 2 embies were transfered yesterday!! 8) 8) The DR, yes the Dr called, freaked me out when I heard his voice. Anyway, he said my embies weren't growing as fast as hoped and they probably wouldn't make it to pgd so the best place for them is inside me. He also said that we had to stim so hard to get to this point that we may not have this chance again. He stressed that we've come too far to let this opportunity go by. So they're snuggled in there for awhile!! We'll do testing at 12 weeks to check for problems if they make it that far. We didn't expect this to happen this soon so I have nothing ready. DH is kinda clueless as to the necessary daily stuff because he works so much and I take care of everyhing. It's great having a slave though!! Does anyone have any ideas at to how much or how little I should be moving around?I do know I'm on bed rest but if I go up and down stairs once or twice will that hurt the kids? How long do you girls suggest resting? I'm having trouble typing because the laptop is on an upside down laundry basket on the bed
I'll do personals when I get an easier typing situation. Thanks for all your well wishes and please keep those prayers coming!
Love hugs and baby dust to all,
Chili 8)

Franny...Woohoo for putting back 3 terrific ones!

Chili...So glad to hear you are PUPO!!! I think you made the right decision.

Klinger...Happy Belated Birthday...I meant to get on here yesterday, but it was crazy busy around here. We let everyone read the door and those who were still clueless we filled in as we talked to them. No big announcement...but everyone now knows.

Thankyou everyone for your kind words and everything...but now for the bad news...
I think it is over already...chemical. My line this morning was way fainter than it was even at 8dp3dt. I am 11dp3dt today. They were getting darker every day and I was shocked this morning...but yet not shocked either, cause "my personal odd symptoms" that I always get when pregnant, like drooling while I sleep...have been virtually gone since Friday night. I even told Bill that I no longer felt pregnant Friday night. I also had minor spotting Friday and Saturday, light pink and brown, which I know is normally fine and likely implantation bleeding...but not this time. I called the clinic on Friday and told them about the spotting and asked if it was okay to continue cleaning and prepping for Zach's party and she told me yes...with frequent breaks, no lifting, etc. I did take it pretty easy (Bill did almost everything while I supervised), but perhaps not as much as I should have...then I ran around like crazy at his birthday party the next day...yet still really didnt do anything strenuous...besides I think the baby died Friday afternoon/evening. Saturday mornings pee stick was almost the same darkness as Friday morning...almost cant tell them apart, except that I marked them. So the hcg probably stopped going up sometime Friday afternoon/evening ...which is why my stick on Saturday was back down to the same color as Fridays and almost gone today. Likely implantation issues since I am very full of fibroids...and when I googled...of course fibroids were a huge reason for a loss this early. The nurse moved my first beta up to Monday rather than Wednesday, thank goodness. I'm just sooo sad this morning. I'm sorry to bring such sad news to our board.

Tammy- Oh no... Not what I wanted to hear from you today. I'm so sorry. I'm glad you can go for beta on Monday though to give you some piece of mind as to what is going on. Maybe, just maybe... You had multiples and there's one strong one still hanging on. I'll pray for that.

Chili- Congrats on being PUPO! I also think that was the best decision at this point. I plan to do amnio or CVS as early as possible too next time. After what happened to me I need the piece of .mind.

Es- Awesome to hear from you. Thanks for the compliments. DH and I always get taken for younger. Without makeup, people often think I'm around 20 years old. Ridiculous!

Klinger - I am still dancing away for you! I'm very relieved about my FET still being on track. Just hope it stays that way.

AFM- Going to my in laws for MIL's birthday today. I'll see my SIL who has been doing ivf at Mayo for a while now. She did a cycle around memorial day but never said anything since. So I dunno, maybe this is going to be an announcement? I wish I had a clue on that one. I really don't care, she's been through a lot and has an adopted son. I'm dreading going over there today. It's so boring except for getting to play with my niece and nephews. It's just that I've got tons of stuff to do around here.

just wanted to jump in..

Franny YEY!!! I am so excited for you. Those sound like awesome embies. Your gonna get a BFP. I know its been a long road and praying that this one works.

Lou - Congrats on getting the OK to start. Good Luck!! I also have my high school reunion on the 2nd. I'm not going. I didn't like a lot of the people when i was in school so why should i want to see them now. I just can't believe it has been 20 years.

Tammy - i wouldn't worry too much on how dark the line is. I have heard from multiple Dr. that the line only detects if there is some HCG, it is not a quantitative value so you really can't tell how much HCG is in your system from the sticks. Plus all sticks are different even if they are the same brand and same lot #. Then if you add in that maybe your drank more water one day then another this could also make a difference cause your pee would be more diluted. Good Luck on your Beta.

Good Luck to All!!
