My scan was ok, seem to have enough follies to continue, but e2 is still growing so have to wait another day to know when/if ER is to be. If all goes well on the 17th. Hope so.

Spoke to the nurse today about the cyst drain (or aspiration if we are being technical!) She said not to worry that it was the same as an EC. Then I reminded her that we hadn't ever got to that stage of tmt. ....she blushed! Ooops, would it be toooooo much to ask that she read my notes before appointment?? Or am I being too cynical?
The doctor who scanned me couldn't make up his mind which ovary the cyst was on, despite having notes from previous scan in front of him! I am not filled with confidence at this juncture. Note to self....Must keep cynacism in check.
Any advice anyone on what to expect? Good thing is that it is on Friday so will have weekend if need to recover!

Phoned this afternoon for E2 results and it took me 55mins to get through to the result clinic. I just kept hitting re-dial...what a stressor that was. The upshot is I have to carry on with 2 more days of gonal-f then scan again( i.e. day 13 stimming). E2 is rising but very slowly....keeping my fingers crossed but been told ' not to be to dissapointed if tx's cancelled' ......What a strain this ivf is...

I've now gone from being rather blaze about the whole trmt thing, as this is our second time round ,to be stressed this week. Not sleeping well and trying to chill but it just keeps popping into my head. Blood test was good, up from 1105 to 4100 - they normally expect it to triple so they're happy with the result. Scan tomorrow at 11.15 am - will feel more relaxed when thats over. To be honest if I get to ec I'll be chuffed as our consultant is not that hopeful for us.
Keeping that PMA going .. take care all

I had a cyst aspiration,and it was fairly simple as i was under anasthesia..I didnt even have any big time pain- jus a little bloated the day after, and then back to normal..

Hello everyone!
Haven't been able to get access to the site for a while but pleased to be back! Have been busy moving and am now settled in my new home in Northamptonshire. The move has certainly kept my mind occupied!
I have now started my second round of ICSI! I had my first scan last Thursday and was put on the nasal spray the same day. Injections start on Thursday and then second scan due next Tuesday. Still going strong with the acupuncture, which helps so much.
I see a few pregnancy tests are due soon. Hang in there ladies and I really hope it's good news for you all!

HI ladies. Jen, Smita he's not hopeful because I have crap egg quality and the ovaries of a 40+ (no offence you more mature ladies), I'm only 35. Last time we only got one decent embie, but you never know this could be different - here's hoping. Still keeping the PMA going.

Good Luck to all on the 2WW
I am fairly new to this forum. I am starting my stims tomorrow, kind of nervous and excited this is my first ICSI cycle. It is kind of confusing, Istarted getting messages telling me what my E2 is not even knowing what they were talking about. I wished they had explained more. I believe I am going for my first scan this weekend. But still don't know when ER will be? I guess this depends on my E2 levels? Or is it on how good the eggs are?
If there is anyone that could help me out I would be so greatful.
