Hi, everyone I am finally on the 2ww with the rest of you.
ET was this morning, and we transferred 4 blasts.
My beta is 8/18. It is hard to type because i have to lay on my back ALL day, but tomorrow I can recline. My clinic is very serious about bedrest. I will do personals tomorrow. Thinking of all of you.

thanks dc diva for the info on testing. I took haf dose hcg (5000 units) and have researched the web. Everything I see indicates it should be gone.

I will test again Tuesday or Wednesday morning. My beta is Wednesday.

Hi there everyone!
I hope you all are having a great weekend. I have been avoiding wine (again...sigh) but concentrating on having a PMA that it will be well worth it if tomorrow's beta is a good one!

Emfossom: Oh my Word, I never knew clinics would transfer 4 blasts!!! You could end up with quadruplets! Did they talk with you about your chances for twins or higher order multiples? My clinic only transfers 2 blasts and told me that if I have a bfp, I will have a 60% chance of twins. Just wondering what your clinic says. Welcome to the 2ww!!!! I hope it goes by really quickly for you! Kim and I only have 1 more day and I think the last day is going to be the worst!

Sweetmommi: If you only took 1/2 of the dose, I'm sure it is out of your system and you are truly getting a BFP! Yeah!!!! My DH was the exact same way last time, he didn't want to get excited either until it was confirmed. This time, I haven't even told him that I've tested b/c I feel that he would be the same. But, he does see that I am acting differently and being really sweet about it! He talks to the 'embies" each morning and night and rubs my belly!

rn2005: Way to go on such fab beta numbers!!! Do they think you have more than one in there??? I'm praying each day for twins!

DCDiva: We totally need to get together if Kim and I have BFP's! That would be great to form a mommies club! Where do you live in the area? Kim's in Reston and I am just outside of Chevy Chase/Bethesda in Kensington, but I work in DC. Do we have any other DC/MD/VA ladies on the board??

Marynaz: Fingers crossed that when you test it is a BFP!!

Yes, it seems like a lot of blasts, but remember I am no spring chicken. I feel like it, but I will be 41 next month. There is a high likeliness that 50% of the embies have abnormal chromosomes, and will not make it. The average blasts transferred for my age is 3-4, and also the stats for quads or even triplets at my age with 4 blasts is slim. Hopefully I get a singleton or twins. I have till the 18th for beta so we will see.

Are any of you guys having af cramping??? ive had it pretty much since transfer and my beta is tommorow but it is stronger today and im terrified that somehting might be wrong since im getting bfps on my hpts.

Elisabethski - I live in NW DC. I think babyloves is also in the dc area and is going to SG but I haven't heard anything from her lately. I am anxiously awaiting you and Kims results!!

Kim- I am also having a lot of cramping since the transfer. I have some that feel like period cramps and some that feel like pinches and pulling. I am having them consistently throughout the day and was also worried.

Emfossom - good luck with your embies. Keep us posted.

I went or my second Beta today so I am waiting for my numbers. I am scheduled to have my first ultrasound on 8/20. I can't wait!

I too have mild cramping on and off. Had some this morning - like pulling - same as dcdiva said.

I got a bfp on hpt but still waiting for beta is 3 days. My breasts hurt like hell yesterday, had to take my bra off. Today not as bad. Does that mean anything? Anyone else have them sore then not so sore - varying by the day?

I went in yestrday for my beta and it was a BFN ... I had already made an appointment with the Re but it's not until the 19th. Which means I'll have to wait. I think it's a good thing right now. We might wait a few months to let my body get back on track. We also have plans for a vacation in Oct. so I think we just might wait until after that. Thank you for the support from all of you ladies, it's a difficult road and I'm hoping 3 times really is a charm ... I want to send out a big CONGRATULATIONS to all of you that have received BFPs... and tons of sticky babydust to those that are still waiting. To those that got BFNs like me, maybe we will meet on another thread in a few months!!!

anj - so sorry to hear this but i think your plan to relax a few months and take a vacation is a good one. We did that and i was in better shape emotionally and physically this cycle. Good luck

I have on and off pain in my bb's also. Some days
it hurts then like today it dosen't hurt as much, when
I lay down they hurt and when I pick something up
off the floor they hurt.
Anyway I did a digital E.P.T. test and it said BFP
My trigger is long gone also.
I've been testing since 3dp5dt and I've been getting faint +'s,
now they are stronger.
I had very bad cramping when my af was supposed to come then
it stopped for like 3 days. Now I have killer cramps, like roll over
on the floor ones and sharp pains in my nipples.
I'm so ranting right? Anyhow I'm nervous but happy at the same time.

Wow, so much activity today. I'm so excited to see all the BFPs coming in, both on HPTs and betas!

Sorry I can't do personals today but I'm getting ready to head off to a wedding that is about 2 hours out of town. I'm dreading Sunday traffic already.
