Hi NOV-EMBIES...

Chrissy welcome-
I know what you mean about E2 levels and not knowing anything about them. Some of the nurses at my clinic are open and discuss things others say oh don't wory about what level you are at? I am so confused. Cause its just snippets of info and no explaination.
All i know is E2 levels drop when you begin peri-menopause and continue to fall until menopause. I know FSH is meant ot be about ovarian reserve but i would gladly like to hear more on this subject too.
good luck starting stimms tomorrow.

Penny- faith and Hope! :) Sweetheart...you never know. I have 'Tired' ovaries as my doc put it. And was told to expect NO follies. and...Look at Lucy ... She's on her 2ww and has 2 embies bedding in as we speak.
Have you read some of the over 40's thread. Kat posted recently her doc' told her about eggs being laid down in batches every 5 months...so I am gonna keep trying cause you might get a better batch every 5 months. FAITH and HOPE.... Keep up the PMA Penny....big (((((((hugs))))))

gemma - Image Good luck with your 2nd round of ICSI

Nicki- you hanging in there okay? Sending you PMA and

To all of you wonderful ladies,
Thank you so much for your posts! The last week has been very hard for me. No PMA at all. I just could not bring myself to post and bring anybody down. Still, everyday I read about each of you and I love you for being brave enough to be there when I couldn't.
I tested today and we have a BFP! I had myself prepared for a BFN. I knew exactly how I would handle it, and she said positive and I cried for twenty minutes.
I wish the same for all of you girls. I am hoping that you can all make it through the 2WW better than I did.

I need some advice before I go mad! I'm due to test on friday but this morning I had some brown spotting. Am I being optimistic by thinking it could be implantation bleeding or is it what I really don't want it to be? Please help, I'm stuck at work and can't go home and all I really want to do is cry! Really thought it was going to work, but then I suppose everyone does on their first attempt.

Kate

Kate - please don't panic!!
I've been told on here that brown blood is old blood so not to worry about it. I've even heard lots of stories on here where ladies have bled but still got a positive.
Unfortunately my first time didn't work and I bled before test date. But when I say bled I mean full on af bleeding, not brown spotting.
It's so difficult, I know - especially when as you say you want to run away and cry. Huge cyber HUGS to you!
