Angela, at least your inlaws are interested. My mother in law never called me to see how the treatment was going. Not ONCE!

I'm sorry that your ovary was being difficult, but 11 eggs is good. I'm proud of you. You did so good! Now get off the computer and relax! Make DH make you a nice dinner or order out! You deserve to be pampered!

Hi Girls,
Just a quick post tonight... EC went well today. I thought I'd be under general like last time but instead they did a conscious sedation. Not sure that was the plan b/c my dr was talking about me like I couldn't hear her, and boy she was not gentle with that probe at all! Maybe there was a miscommunication between the anethesiologist and my RE. I was glad to not have the post-general anesthetic nausea, so I didn't mind the sedation so much. They got 11 eggs, which is twice as many as last time. I'm REALLY hoping things turn around for me and I get a good fertilization report tomorrow. I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight. Actually, I don't think I'll sleep until Sunday when I'm due to have ET. It's really frustrating that we have to do the genetic testing b/c we won't know if we have anything to transfer until about an hour before we leave for the hospital. Ugh. I've got to keep the PMA!!! Are any of you others doing PGD or is it just me?
I'll log on again tomorrow to send some notes to you individually. I hope I can stand up tomorrow!

Jackie - any news honey? Hope your out celebrating!
Jen - how exciting to get your first scan date!!! I haven't a clue about levels but they sound great!!
Lisa - Good luck with your stims tomorrow!
Sohpie - Glad to see you're having a better day! I know what you mean about questions etc. I told the entire world (well nearly!) last time and by the time I got to the 2ww I really regretted it. Sounding one friend out first is a good idea - just need to work out which!
Angel - 11 eggs is fantastic! You made me laugh about keeping your in-laws guessing - wicked you (but completely understandable!!)
Kelly - 11 eggs too - brilliant!!!! Haven't done PGD I'm afraid so can't help there but you've got a great number of eggs to go with
Anna - Hows you? When's af due? Just wondered when I should start jigging?!!
Lynne - how are you today?

Having a better day today (sorry about yesterday! ) Still have no idea what way it's going to go, but have decided to put it out of my mind until Friday afternoon (yeah right!!!!! Who you trying to convince!!!)

Happy Wednesday to all!

HI guys,

COngratulation Joanna, i am so pleased for you!

Things are not going great for me, i had my first scan today and i have only 5 follies...
I was hoping for a lot more. I had 13 follies for my last cycle and only 3 fertilised. So out of 5 , i am really scared that none will. I bursted into tears at the gyn, and again tonight when the nurse came for the injections

the worst is that I had 13 follies with a short protocol last time, which was great! My new doc knew about it and about the tmt i had. So when i asked today why i had few follies, the nurse told me that because of my age, my doc decided to go with a less strong tmt!! Why did she do that for??!!

So i am not feeling very positive, this is my last cycle and i am S*** scared...

sorry for that guys

take care

Hi Girls

Af arrived at last. Phoned the clinic and due to staff shortages they are not accepting any fet patients until further notice.

I am really fed up and we are not sure what to do at the moment. We have both lost faith in our clinic as there always seems to be something wrong. Not sure which thread to join now as in limbo.

Sorry for the grumble.
Hope you are all ok.

lots of love christine

Souris,
Sweetie,
Hang in there.. I knowit can all seem depressing, especially with the 'last go' tag hovering overhead, but it'll be fine..
I have a good feeling about this cycle for you.
You'll go one to successful ET and a positive test.
Wishing you lots of luck and sending you positive thoughts- think positive girl!

Christine,
The waiting game is awful and frustrating, isnt it? I hope you can go in your next cycle-My heart goes out to you.. but oh well, I guess, you can eat healthier and get fitter for the upcoming fet..

Sue,
has AF shown up yet?
Will jig for you and Anna!

hugs to all,

smita

Lynne - How did EC go? Have i missed your post? Hope your ok.

Smita - sorry forgot to update the list, now on day 5 start the ovulation kits on day 11, so not long now. Just want my little embies back to give them a little warmth!!! Clinic cant do ET if ovulation falls on wed, thur or fri as people not in clinic to either get frosties out or do transfer  How are you? You must be so excited now.

Kelly - Hoping those embies are progressing nicely and then you can get some sleep when they are tucked up nicely in you!!
Jenc- great news, wishing you luck for your scan, all the best

Yogibunny - Good luck for today, keep up the PMA, feb testers are on a roll

Sophie - Hope your friends give you lots of support you need.

Eminde - good luck

Sorry could not reply to all, because i could only see a few past posts and couldnt remember were everyone was up to.

But wishing you all a BFP, and to those waiting to get started hoping that this is the month for you. good luck all

FEBRUARY WILL BE A FAB MONTH

sorry christine - meant to say your news sucks. Do you have to go back to that particular hospital? If you are being funded, then I would complain to your PCT and see if you can move elsewhere. If you are paying, then I would serioulsy consider moving anyway. It is entirely up to you where you have treatment, and you can have your notes and embies transferred.
Have they indicated when they will be able to take FET patients again?
