Ok I have decided since this thread is so busy and I can't keep up I am quitting work and staying on line 24/7!!

Me and DH to meds with the Fresh and with the FET! I guess so I won't catch his cooties!!!

Jack--Congrats on the puppy!! What kind?? I have a little boston terrier named Gracie and she is a complete Momma's girl!!! What is flare cycle??

Jemmia--Hey Girl! How is everything?? I am doing another cycle when AF shows up!!!

Auntie--still doing the jig for you!!

Macca--I know what you mean about that stupid progesterone. I also read that when your preggers it doesn't always stop you up, it can have the other effect on you! Gosh you are a busy girl!! I use to have gel put on may nails all the time!! Girl went up on prices and I thought I can do this myself. I had a hairdresser friend of mine get me all the supplies and I did my own for a while. I don't do my finger nails anymore but I do still do my toes!!! Got to have those french manicured toes!!

I also understand about not being thrilled with just a BFP! It is so hard and I hate that we can't completely enjoy our +ve's

Thanx to all of you for your concern. It was a rough night. I have gas and bloating that is not to be beleived. My tummy is making TONS of noise, and it is sooooooo bloated and I feel just awful! I cannot beleive this. I just want to lay here and roll around and try to pop or something. Any advice? Ug! Nine more days of this. I have NEVER had gas and tummy discomfort like this.

I agree with jeck there is so much going on with this thread that I haven't got time to work as well. I don't think I would get away with it.

I have just done my first stims injection, lots of faffing with having to mix the menopour etc. Then one injection in each leg as I am still doing buresline.

Only a short post today as we have a big do on at work tonight so got to go down early.

OMG - How to keep up with everyone!

Ems - i cant beleive your going away for the bank holiday weekend (u jamie so and so can u pack me with u ) have a great time, relax and enjoy getting back to nature hehe!

I've had a bit of an afternoon (not that i remember much of it) i was due to finish work at 1pm (im a wee part timer - 9am - 1pm its great) but half hour b4 i was due to leave, i got the biggest worst headache i have ever experianced in my life I got tunnel vision with it, it was quite scarey trying to drive home (only 10 mins drive but still scarey!) i was dying to get on line to see who had been posting (this is addictive lol ) but there was no way i could get on as my migraine took over and i had to get to bed! Ive slept all afternoon (i must have needed it) but i proberly wont be able to sleep tonight im sat here in my pj's, with a pair of sunglasses on cos the light hurts my eyes. Its a beautiful sunny day here in Northern Ireland - but ive missed it all (arghhhh!) My ache's down below are not so bad today - im starting to worry as to why they have quieten down??? Any ideas???

Also to top things - my 16yr old daughter got her GCSE results today, and i feel so gulity that i had to go to bed and not be here for her.
She got:
A's = 1
B's = 3
C's = 5
Alllllllllllllllllll Passes

And..... my 18yr old daughter got her Diploma last Thursday

We are so proud of the both of them, i just had to share that with everyone.
My DH (their Step Dad) has just come home from work with a bunch of 6 helium balloons with 'Congrats' and 'well dones' for them (he is so lovely) and 2 lovely congrats cards. So one is off to the cinema to celebrate, the other off to see her b/f, my DH is off to the chinese (i couldnt possibly cook tonight lol) and im off to put my feet up (I might pop back later - only to try and keep on top of these postings u understand )

Me Again ....

Ive just read an article about a woman trying for a baby, who had 16 folicles when she went for her first scan, but they had gone down to 9 by her second??????????

The last few days my aches down below have been quite bad, i went for a scan and as most of u know, after a week on injecting - i have 7 folicles ranging from size 17 -7. The aches i have been told, are due to the folicles inside me growing etc.

Today has been a strange day for me, ive spent most of it in bed with a migraine, but its now getting a lot better.

My aches are not as bad either -

Does this mean that i might not have as many when i go back for my last scan on Sunday?

I thought the pain would be getting wose as the days went on - but mine seem to be easing off - maybe this is because im getting used to it, or that they are no longer there?

I hear that you need at least 8 for them to do an EC? What if i dont have 8 by Sunday?

What do you think? Im starting to panic now ....

You can drive yourself crazy worring about something that's not there. I'm like that too. I got some post ovulation cysts once but thought it was something major after reading the symptoms online. I was preparing myself for the hernia surgery, at least
As my friend said: Worry about things as they come not in advance. (not the best translation but you get the idea. English is not my native language)
I stopped reading articles online because I was a nut case worring about possibility of birth defects, complications, etc.
It's not good for us to worry too much now.

You sound like my DH, he has just told me the same thing - ive worked myself up now to the point where im nearly crying - i dont want this to end so early on, i so want this to work.

I dont think i can go through this IVF again, im on an emotional roller coaster, not sure we can even afford another go ......

But, as u say - i will worry about it when the the time comes. Will let u know how the scan goes on Sunday

We will keep fingers crossed for you. I'm going for my bloodwork and u/s tomorrow to see if I can start stims, so I'm kinda nervous too.
You know, the doctors tell us we shouldn't be stressed out but how can you not be stressed out with what's going on and our hormones jumping. I cried yesterday watching Runway Project on TV. So weird....
It's also my first IVF and I hope the last. We definitely cannot afford several. My insurance doesn't cover anything.

OK I am with Jeck..its offical am quitting my job so I can keep up

Jeck we are getting a labradoodle (half lab and half standard poodle) I am so excited....The flare cycle is no birthcontrol pills and they are not using Lupron they are using antrongal (spelling?) the reason they gave me is they think the long cycle probably supressed me too much so they are hoping this cycle works better...

Congrats on the grades and how well your daughters are doing.. You should be very proud of them

For KF and Becky...I think its amazing that docs say "just relax" this is stressful and we get confused not to mention all the racing around.. What I can say is use this board and forum as much as possible.. Aunty will tell you on my first cycle really was not sane most times but coming here really helped...

To all the scans coming keep us posted we are hoping for lots of follies

aww Becky i know just how you feel but please try not to worry, firstly who told you you had to have 8 for EC i hope it wasnt your clinic, my friend an IVF lady was what they call a poor responder first ivf she had 1 follie so switched to iui second ivf on 450 Gonal f she only had 4 follies they got three "very poor"eggs and she got twin girls so it really does only take a few to get your dream.
i remeber last cycle my aching came and went all the time i would think the same thing ooo no my eggs are retracting... trust me they arnt they are letting you have a breather i think it could be more that we get used to a certain amount of pain then we dont notice so much untill it increases again... i hope your head gets better soon

It wasnt the clinic who told me i had to have 8, it was in the article i read about infertility. My DH has warned me not to read any more (lol) He says, Its different for everyone, and people respond differently to each treatment and im not to panic - along with his advise and you lovely ladies - im going to STOP worrying (well at least try). So thanks again for all your support xxx

Hi ladies! I still feel gassy and horribly bloated (from gas). I called my doctor and they were "surprised" and said they have never heard this before. Is this true? I am that rare? Have any of you experienced this from the njections? I am so confused.

hello everyone! ER went well. I'm in bed right now resting. I'm a little crampy and my hands are sore from where the IV catheter went in. One fell out, so they had to stab me in the other hand to insert a new IV. I hate those things. Anyway, out of 12 follicles they got 11 eggs. Sounds good, but my ER explained that they aren't all good. I don't know how good the good ones are. He's going to call tomorrow to let us know how fertilization went. I'm just hoping for a couple really good ones.
I'm going to rest a little now. Hope you all are doing good.

Zirly im so sorry your so uncomfortable, are you sure its the injections i only ask because i do get uncomfortable but its a mix of baby vits and nerves did your clinic say there anything you can take to help?... i really hope it eases up for you soon.

Mia 11 Eggs is great take care of yourself im looking forward to hearing how many embies in waiting you get...i hate those iv's too my last one was in my arm when he put it in my whole arm went numb (didnt mind after the happy juice) lots of luck with your little ones..thinking of you
