Thanx Tammy!! My cycle is going to start anyday and I was thinking stupid, thinking another cycle with my own...somebody PLEASE slap me..LOL. I almost talked myself right into it then I faced reality and remembered I only had 2 follicles with my last cycle.

I think I'm gonna stick with the DE cycle..but the temptation can be hard to resist!

How is everyone else doing?? Please post some updates!!

Nothing new here. Got to wait a month 7/23 before I go back to the DR. Don't know if I will be able to make it that long without breaking down, but I will try. Don't want to be someone who "cries wolf" all the time. If there is nothing wrong then I plan on waiting till 7/23 to see him again.
Long answer short - WAITING AGAIN !! (seems like everyones gets to do that a lot on these boards!!)

Hey everyone,
Had a biophysical profile ultrasound yesterday. Baby looks good. got the highest score possible. I have a little too much fluid though. she said I will come every two weeks now and have this test everytime i come til i have the baby. She said too much fluid can cause preterm labor.. I have 8 more weeks now. baby weighs 4 pounds.

Take care everyone.

:D greetings everyone!

This board is really active lately. Ya'll are a wonderful group.

Rhonda-you are in the home stretch. You sound wonderful. Keep us posted. I'm so excited for you.

How are our other expecting ladies?

Sharon thinking of you as you begin your new path with DE.

Our state just made it legal to adopt embryos, yipee! At least it is another option now for people trying to conceive.

So, I'm afraid we missed this cycles ovulation as we were visiting with all the little nieces and nephews in a sleep over :( There is always next month. I'm sure part of my drive to have another is due to missing all those special moments early on with DD. and then it would be nice for her to have a little brother or sister.

On a happy note. A little girl joined our large extended family this past Tuesday; weighing in at 5lbs. And later this month another little girl will be joining the clan. DD will have lots of opportunity to play with these little cousins.

For those of us residing here in the USA, Happy fourth. and for those in Canada, belated Happy Canada Day.

To everyone, I'm thinking of you. Have a wonderful weekend. Stay cool for those in hot climates and dry for those in the rain zone.
Cheers! :D

NJ Surga - I also went to Dr. Check. I am 40 yrs old and had 3 cycles. How long did you stim for? I'm thinking they waited too long to give you your trigger shot.

I have to say my experience with Cooper was not the best. I feel that they herded you in and out like cattle. My worst experince was my last retrieval. I showed up and they told me they did not have an anastegeologist (spelling) and I would trigger if I did not have the retrieval right away, so they gave me a valium and told me it should not be that bad because I only had 4 eggs and it would be quick. WELL, needless to say it was the WORST thing I have ever been through. My doctor was Dr. Cho (which is another thing i hated, I never had the same doctor for retrieval and nobody told me in the beginning that Dr. Check doesn't perform any procedures) anyway, like I said, I had Dr. Cho and she is not the most personable doctor. During the procedure I was extremely upset because it was painful, the valium did absolutely nothing for me and she kept yelling at me because I was crying. She only retrieved 3 eggs because I lost one during the procedure. I was in pain for days after. It was horrible.

I have other issues with them as well but I don't want to write a book, LOL. Anyway, I'm not trying to scare you I just wanted to give you my experience with them. When I was researching clinics there was nobody using them on the site at the time.

I have no idea what it's like with their donor program but hopefully it's better organized and well run. Good Luck

Well sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I woke up with my underwear bloody so I called my OB. They got me in for a 1 pm appt. and again I heard the news "sorry, I don't see a heartbeat". The little one measured 8w6d, and today I am 9w4d. Therefore, they think he/she passed last Wed. The strange thing is I went to acupuncture Friday and she felt what she calls "a PG pulse". Makes me think that he/she stopped growing on Wed., but the HB actually stopped this past weekend. Going in for the D&C on Friday. They will do genetic testing. The OB said there is nothing that I could have done/not done, eaten, drank, etc. that could have caused this. It is comforting to hear, but still SUCKS !!

Talk to eveyone later,
Tracy
