6 Eggs is great! How often do you get an update as to their growth? Why did you decide to do a day 3 ET instead of a day 5? How many embryos do you want to transfer? Sorry for the overload of questions I just can't wait to get to that point! I am really hoping that I get my period next week and the Lupron doesn't make me late.

I don't know if any have fertilized yet. I will hear this afternoon about that. That is why I am so scared. We did ICSI, so that helps the odds, but who knows. My DR and RE have stated that if low number, they think I should do day 3, but I don't know that yet either. This is my first IVF attempt, so I don't know all the ins and outs, and am pretty much at the mercy of DR and RE for advice. I think if Sat they will do 3 (if we get that many fertilized). If Mon, two.

Sage: Try not to be too worried about OHSS, I am an over responder. I am on a very low low dose this cycle because I over stimulated last time. Drink tons of water also! There are lots of checks and balances!

Weezie: I am so sorry you have to deal with that witch! I hope she finds something better to do, even if for a little while!

21bat: I didn't have a difficult time getting my Novarell but it was ordered weeks ago with all of my other meds. I wouldn't worry too much about your first us & b/w they are mostly checking to see if they see any follicles to start, and if there are any cysts and to check the uterine lining so they can get a measurement to compare to the next time you go. The bloodwork is just to make sure your Estrogen is in the right place to start stimming. You will get more feedback and information after you have been stimming for 6 or 7 days than you will at the first one!

Marin: Glad to have you back, sorry about your computer trouble!

KBear: Fingers crossed for good fertilization report and for strong embies! Remember it only takes 1!! Hope your furry friend is feeling better!

Me: I went to the doc this morning! This cycle is so much better than my last cycle! Everything is going as planned, very well! I have tons of follies (10+ in both my left and right!), and most of them in my left are 19mm or larger! The right ovary is still lagging behind but All are over 16mm so they are hoping they step up a couple more mm so I will have tons over 18! It was a great day for me so far, just waiting on the Estrogen level report!! I AM SO EXCITED! Trigger tonight, retrieval on Saturday morning...HOPING FOR A 5 DAY TRANSFER!

Hey all! Real quick. I just had my u/s b/w and the u/s was great. No cyst. and the lining look just the way the doctor wanted it to be. I should get a call in about 2 hours with my b/w results.
I asked my nurse about the deli meat and she said to just stay away from bologna and hot dogs. Things like that. She never heard of not drinking Ginger Ale and told me not to take asprin as of now because it would cause unnecessary bleeding during ER. But I will start on asprin the day of ER and continue there after. DH and I were really excited. And one of the nurses even gave me her number and told me she gives shots to people who can't do it themselves. Problem of DH not being here to do trigger resolved
Well we are going to Lafayette for the next 2 days. I will keep you all posted. Hugs to all of you.

I just got a call from DR. We have two that fertilized. He stated usually a 50% fert rate, and I had four mature and two not as mature eggs. He said we need to keep our fingers crossed that they keep dividing. I did not expect to hear from DR but RE. This scares me a little bit. I know I need to be positive, but I am a worrier, so that is hard.

I will hear again from them tomorrow to see how embies are doing.

I know it is hard not to worry but please try and think good thoughts We are all cheering for you! Dogs are very sensitive and she probably knows there is something going on (ours do), hope she is feeling better.

21bat – I also asked if my shots could be on the butt instead of tummy, my RE also gave numbing cream prescription for PIO, oh and I asked about sex and when it would be ok , warm baths…. I also make smoothies with OJ and Trader Joe’s frozen tropical fruit, or frozen pineapple – yummy! When I was on bcp I craved junk now on stims, I have a hard time eating much (not a good weight plan!) .

Me - I am trying to take it easy (my left side feels like it is going to burst), I cannot believe what a roller coaster of feelings this process is. I was hopeless on Tuesday and crying, way too excited on Wednesday, now I am excited but careful, I am just praying and hoping for good eggs, fertilization, embies, BFPs!!!! One step at a time. I am very excited for all of us and I can't wait for updates - seems like I am on this board all day!

Hi ladys---im glad me and Hopin are pn same schedule. I think ER will be sat. Im waiting on results on today BW will find out in a few hours. I hope to be able to trigger tonight otherwise somethings not right. I have stopped all stims I only took the one shot last night for Progesterone level. I think we have about 10-12 follies that are ready. That seems low especially if not all fertilize. I hope we have some left for FET. Im really excited and I hope everyone is feeling well and GL to all ET's this week/weekend.

loopie - the trigger shot wasn't bad, the needle was a little thicker than the subcutaneous ones but it wasn't bad at all, no stinging. I did Ovidrell

Katie G - 10 to 12 follicles is fine, I got 10. Like people told me, don't get intimidated by the girls who respond with a bunch of follies. It only takes one! There are plenty of success stories with few folicles!

Does anyone know what size a mature folicle should be or what the cut-off is? I know they want the "leading" follicle to be at least 18mm but does anyone know how the 10-15 mm follicles stand?

Well everyone seems to be moving right along I can't write a lot now- must get ready for my interview . Wanted to update those who care on my appt today. The RE said my ovaries are gorgrous ! ANd my lining is perfect 19mm. I have 12 follicles and I will start Gonal F tomorrow evening 300, and drop the Lupron to 10 units. Monday I will be back in for an u/s. And we are looking at at 1/28 ER if everything goes well . Super excited here.
