Well done Sher, that does sound like good news (I'm not spoiling the surprise am I Little P, I'm only saying what Sher said?!)

Glad Nicki that you're feeling back to your usual self. I'm 99% sure that I've read that if you do need to take any medication during the 2ww paracetemol is the one thing you can take. And a headache could be a good thing....!

My plan for today is to keep busy (in a non-strenuous, relaxing kind of way!) A good friend of mine is in london for an interview this morning so, as they haven't put the embies back, I'm going to go and meet her for lunch, and may try if I can squeeze in the acupuncture appointment that I was supposed to have yesterday but cancelled because of the planned e/t.

Have a good day everyone, and hope it passes quickly for eskavon and big J especially.

paracetamol in pregnancy

Post by k »

Hi Nicki

Im suffering from a bad cold at the moment (on top of pregnancy symptoms!) and I was trying to find out what I could take for it. (most cold remedies are out).I found on the nhs direct website it said paracetamol was safe at the recommended dosage so I have taken it. I do remember reading somewhere a few days ago that paracetamol didnt cross the placenta, but I cant remember where!
Hope your headaches gone now, take care

Nicola

I was told that it is fine to take one or two paracetamol during pregnancy so I think you'll be ok. Don't think too much about it or you'll bring that nasty headache back with all the worry :?

I hope that you have a lovely day today.

To all you other 2wwers - I hope that the time is flying by for you and you are all coping ok. Let us know how you are getting on.

Big J and Eskavon - only one more sleep and you're there, stay full of PMA.

Jules and Pam & Mike - a couple of days and it's your big day - I hope that you are doing ok.

Take care

Dear 2ww-ers

Hope everyone is feeling OK. Not long to go now - just a week left for me.

Still waking up in the night but am getting used to it a bit more now. Reading my book for an hour seems to do the trick.

Just a thought. Might the hormonal pessaries I take at night be disturbing me? I seem to get to sleep ok then wake up two to three hours later - fully awake. Anyone find anything similar?

Have finally been doing a bit of (light) gardening today as the rain has stopped.

Good luck to Big J and Eskavon for tomorrow.

Hi Heather ... Thanks for your post. To be honest, trying to be +ve, but still letting it get to me now and again. Promise - will sort myself out soon !

You're literally just counting down the days now, so you must be excited ! It's lovely to have it all mapped out then you know just where you're going. I hope it comes around quick for you.

Sandra

You have every right to be having highs and lows - it's a really difficult thing to come to terms with, so if you have a bad day don't hide away scream, shout, cry or whatever it takes.

You've been here supporting everyone throughout their various results, now it's our turn to be here offering you hugs and support when you need it.

Take care

Hi Ladies
All ok today - one more sleep!
Sand you have as many highs and lows as you like - as LP said you're entitled to it. Are you hoping to have another go soon or are you going to wait for a few months?
To all other 2ww'ers hang on in there - you're one day closer!
Nicola - great to hear you're back on top form again! Not long now

Hi all

Well, I'm trying to stay positive but to be honest I don't really feel anything :( , my boobs are fine, not sore at all, I do seem to have a heavy abdomen when I get up or sit down, have got wind below and sometimes cramps but think it is from the pessaries. I've got a week to go and am trying to stay positive & hopeful by telling embies to hang on in there - have taken to calling them 'babycakes' in the hopes that they are still in there. So even though I don't feel anything I'm behaving as if I am, in other words not overdoing it and not lifting anything heavy.

Nicki - I haven't told my parents as my mum can't keep a secret and everyone would know. I will more than likely tell my dad when they arrive as I'll be able to get him away on his own. My 2 sisters know but one lives in America and the other one in Ireland. Two of my cousins know - they live in Harrow and are very supportive but haven't a clue really! Another friend who I used to live with but is now in Boston knows and when she was home a few weeks ago we met up, sadly it was her mothers funeral, and we had a chat and she is also going for tests and will probably go down the IVF road and she even said that she never realised what I was going through until it happened to her. Anyway, I'm blabbing on  Hope you are doing ok, you have got your PMA back so that is good.

BigJ, thanks for the ginger tea tip, but the nausea has totally gone. Good luck with your test, am I right that you are doing one tomorrow? Really hope you get good news.

Eskavon, good luck for your test, and hope that you too get good news.

Sher - I'm curious to know your news so will pop over & have a read now.

Alison, your embies seem to be doing very well, hope you go for ET soon.

Hope everyone else is okay.

Pauline

It's good to hear from you.

Try not to think too much about sensations you are or aren't experiencing. Remember that every woman is different and signs of pregnancy change from person to person. Some girls have all the signs, some have none, so just because you can't find those classic signs in yourself it doesn't mean that it hasn't worked.

Remember that some women don't experience their first symptoms of pregnancy until 6-8 weeks into the first trimester :!:

Stay relaxed and full of PMA.

Take care

Little P

Hi girls,

Pauline, I hope your visit with your parents turn out ok.... Not long to go now dear!! xxx

Eskavon & Big J, sending to extra hugs ready for tommorrow, I am so sure to be seeing 2x BFP's

Sandra, How are you feeling now? Your'e sure to have lower days. But your'll get there and the rain will soon stop. I hope you're ok now.
You have been great to us all here, offering support so now we can offer you some. Have a good cry and vent it out on here. We understand dear x x

Claire, You must be exhausted. Have you tried getting up completely and removing yourself from the bedroom, watching a bit of telly then trying later to sleep.

Does your dh snore? If he's like mine, I have to sleep first, or else I am up all night. So I go to bed 30 mins before him.
