Hi all

Sorry to have been absent for so long. Have been running my life like a military operation so as to fit in stim injections at the exact time!!! Me? OTT? Surely not!

Anyway, had another scan this morning and doc says I've been busy! I have 10 showing in my right ovary alone, and not far off the same on the left! He's slowing the dose down for a couple of days and sending me for a blood test on Fri as an extra precaution.

All-in-all though, good news so far. No side effects to moan about really and looks like we're on track for EC/R on Mon!!!!!!!!!!!

You just gotta wait until the 21st for a blood test to be sure. try and relax and let go of the stress of testing early (it's difficult i know)...((((hugs)))

Kate- look back on general forum for 2ww info Kat posted 2 weeks ago. It will help you confirm it's okay to spot old blood. Smita is the one that will back this up and she's in her 26wk preg. (((hugs)))

Penny and Nicki- how are you doing Girls? sending mega PMA and loving hugs. thinking of you.

I had my scan today. the smaller follies are growing but still awaiting 3 of the right size. have to phone at 2 pm today to find out ...whether to keep stimming and rescan on friday), whether to take hcg or whether they will cancel because of not enough follies.

I have never been this far in IVF and dearly want to go to Er and ET...never mind a BFP. Praying it's okay and my guardian angel is looking out for me.

Jeni, the wise one has it right- I had spotting the day my period was due and everyday until my testdate( Ihad a 17day wait) and was convinced it was all over, but here I am!!

Also had brown discharge daly until i got to my second tri..Hang in there!Good Luck!

WOW its only been 24hours since I've posted and I've got two pages to read !!
Jeni - sending buckets full of PMA to you and hoping for a good result from your scan on friday - i really really hope you can proceed.
Kate - also keep that PMA going - brownspots can be a good sign - sending the BFP wizard to visit you xxx
Lavendar - good luck with ec on monday - all those follies you must be ready to pop

JKOS - so pleased you're keeping the PMA going - and glad your scans and bloods look good - best of luck
Nicki - hope the 2ww is flying past - tons of good luck to you

Update on me ... had a scan this am and i've 10 good sized follies left side and 9 good sized ones on right side - endo is 10.3mm. So they've said i've responded well and guess what ........ I may be having ec/er on Friday!!

Very happy if this is so ... if not friday will definately be Monday. DH and I are very pleased at such a good response - Jeni maybe you're right and my consultant was talking tosh. Got a bucket full of PMA this afty. Will cnfirm close of play whether friday or not. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies

Guess what!!!

I am going for ER on Friday 8.30am.............

I am taking my hcg tonight. Still in shock and can't quite believe i have got this far. The docs have decided to go for the bigger 24mm and 2 smaller ones at 17 and 16mm. Never been this far before and am hoping all goes well and i actually have some eggs to fertilize.

Smita- Thank you for your prayers and PMA. it's keeping me afloat...

Hi - I would love to join this thread - how do I do that??? I am currently on day 5 of Follistim at 275, and looking at retrieval sometime next week - prob. T-Giving. I could definitely use some support, as my spirits are kind of low. Everything seems to be going ok, though not great, but somehow I've convinced myself that this isn't going to work. Some buddies going through the same thing would be fantastic! Hope to hear back from somebody! Gel
