Hey MLG its all looking good, you take it easy and keep the pecker up!

Julie oh hun you're not the only one feeling all these feelings. Its so hard when friends have babies and they're all moving on and they forget what its like for us. One of my best friends has just had her baby and i find it really hard going round there right now as all she talks about are baby things... for the whole night! And it wrenches at my heart to see her and her dh all cosy with their new born. She was trying same time as us and we both used to talk about it as she had been trying for 19 months and had had some investigations but all turned out to be alright. She knows all about us but and how devastated we have been but when we go round I can't help but think how she doesn't realise how hard it is for me to see and her dh all happy with their little baby. Does she have to rub salt into the wound by telling me every last detail? She said the other night when I went round and took my mum, "oh can't be bothered with work, can you? its just not a priority" then proceeded to talk about all her work friends who are either pg or have had babies in the last year and who can't be bothered with work. Oh well good for them!!. I mean is is just me :?: or is that totally insensitive. I have told her before that work is one of the things that keeps me going right now, my career is a focus ... and I certainly don't want to be reminded about all those successfully pregnant friends of hers! but then like you I think, maybe its me with the problem not them. I worry to that I am going to drift apart from her too
:( Maybe we should both speak to our respective friend huh??

Nicki I almost cried reding your story doll but you seem to have coped with it really well.

Sorry got to dash, hi to everyone else :D xxx

Hi Girls

I was suppose to have a blood test this morning and do paper work for my forthcoming tmt, but I had a meeting this morning so couldn't go, I am now going tomorrow lunch time, I will also have to have a scan just to make sure I don't have a cysts or anything.! Then all I need to wait for is my AF, funny we go through life not wanting her show up, now we can't wait for her to show up, so once she arrives on 22nd (hope not late) then its all systems go, I was working out this morning that my EC will be anytime w/c 8th May - OH MY GOD... I have booked that week of work, so hope I've worked it out right or I don't have to be on stims longer.

Gail - Hope your feeling a bit better than you did yesterday, I think we all have days where we just feel really down and like we could cry all day, but we always find ourselves feeling better. I hope you will enjoy your new job. Only 10 days to go until ET and your embies will be back where they belong, all snug..! Anyway Hun big hug to you. Image

Julie - Hope you’re OK? Hope the weather has cleared up a bit by Sat for you jollies. I understand what you mean about the friendship thing, when other people have their children they don't understand what it is like for us who are trying so desperately to have a child, no matter how close they are. I don't think they mean to be that way, I mean if your friends knew how you were feeling they would probably feel really bad, but I know what you mean, they should know what you’re going through, you shouldn't have to tell them. My sister has been absolutely fantastic through this, she has read up on stuff, watched documentaries etc, all because she wants to understand and I respect her for that, but friends, they don't, they just talk babies all the time. It does change things I think. But if you're all very strong and have been friends a long time then I would talk to them and explain how your feeling, they will understand, they might even be thinking, you don't want them to talk about it, so they keep quiet...... no one wins.! Anyway Hun have a good week.!

Nicki - Same as above, its hard with friends isn't it, I really feel for you that you've lost touch with your friends through this, unlike Julie who is still very close but feels she is distancing herself. I hope you can work things out with Jane, hope it doesn't cause probs either if partners find out.?! If I lived near you babe I'd be your friend, we could go through all this together, but we'll have to settle at just being cyber buddies instead.! Big Hugs to you - Image

Lis - Your shoes sound fab babe.!

MLG - Hope your OK? Did they not tell you what your numbers were.? I have everything crossed for you for next week - everything will be OK!

Hi Jen and Lola - hope your both doing OK?

Sorry If I missed anyone.

Well take Care everyone

Hi girls

Just a quick one to thank you for the replies. I know we are all in the same boat (as rocky as it can be). I will talk more to my friends and let them know how I feel, just sometimes wonder if I am boring them!! Well, they bore me with their baby talk sometimes so we're equal. lol (where's that brick wall when I need one!!)

Nicki - I hope you patch things up with Jane and it doesn't cause ripples elsewhere

Lis - Glad you are sounding more like your old self (((squeeeezeee))). Just think this time next year we can aggravate everyone with our bouncing baby news!!!! Revenge is sweet.

Gail - Hope you feeling better hun. PMA and hugs to you

MLG - Keep your chin up - Your levels will rise each day and you will be bursting with baby hormones come next week

Jen - Hope you are better and feeling more your old self.

Lola - Bug hugs to you too x

Rachel- Hope meds going ok - good luck with the scan. Let us know how you get on

My mum lives in yorkshire so parhaps we could met!!! Which town are you in???

You know me, I get on with life and play the cards we are dealt. I refure to let my so called mates drag me down.......

When I do see 'em, I get stuff about babies, followed with but you would know what thats like having not been pregnent.....so cruel, just wanna scream!!!

When dh's mates wive had a baby last year, we went to see 'em and she said: Do u wanna hold her? but make sure u dont run off with her....Nasty huh??? people think we are that deprate we would steal another baby.
I didnt want her baby, I want my own!!!!

Anyway, again it's late so will leave ya now, but thanks so much for all ur support and love.....

aaarrrgggggghhhhhhhh
I went to the hospital yesterday for my blood work doing and they did a scan to make sure evrything was OK, well it wasn't I have a BIG cyst (30mm) the nurse said this may go on its own but then again it may not. I was so p'd off, if its not one thing its another, so now my tmt may have to be put off until this cyst has gone, they won't drain it until you'd had 3 bleeds from them detecting it. So now I've got to have another scan on day 1 of AF if the cyst has gone then I start the buserelin and get on with it, but if it hasn't then I'll have to wait until next AF and see if it has gone. The nurse did say they would go ahead with tmt if it has shrunk, but it will have to be smaller than 10mm. I am not feeling very hopeful now, I still have to order my drugs today though just in case. I was getting so excited as well.

Nicki - I am from Leeds, where does your mum live.? Congratulations on your 500th post on Phoenixes.....!

Sorry can't do personals, just popped on before I go to work, on a training course today, and not sure how to get to get to venue so best be off cos no doubt I'll get lost.....!

Take everyone and speak soon.

Hi Lucy

What a nightmare for you! When I had my scans to see if I was in working order they found a cyst on my left ovary, actually told me it was a dermoid cyst. I had to go back 4 weeks later to have it assessed and it had gone :!: . Hope the same happens for you. Chin up x
