Charity and Aunty-Yep, I'm with you guys. I started stims on 9/27. Don't go back for scan until 10/4. They said EC could be as early as 10/7 depending on the scan but will probably be in the following week. I am so nervous; I feel like this process is taking forever and I am NOT enjoying it one bit! I am so ready for the shots and retrieval to be done. I am very nervous for the retrieval-so nice to know I will have a couple of buddies.

Haylie--How are you doing? Hope the time flys by for you!! Nance--How did the first round of stims go??? I am so glad that you got rid of your cyst and you get to continue!! Aunty--I am so sorry that your clinic dropped a bomb on you!! How dare them, do they not realize how much we rearrange our lives around IVF cycle and it is not so simple to change everything up!! I am so excited!!!! I am so ready too!! I can really feel my left ovary and I am really getting uncomfortable!! My E2 was 2500 today is that getting really high for OHSS??? I do have 25+ eggs so I expect it to be higher than last time.

Jeck - Whoo Hoo!!! You must be so excited. I know I am for you. Good luck on Monday. Let us know how it goes. 25 sounds like an amazing number. You must be ready to pop.
Aunty - How are you doing? I have been thinking about you and the hard decision you have made but I believe you made the right one.
Haylie, Gina, Malinka, Lori, Cowgirl, Thook - How are you ladies holding up on your 2WW? All my prayers for a BFP for you.. . and for all of us.
JenJ - I know how you feel. I am also not enjoying one second of this. I hate the medications and the uncertainty and the waiting and well pretty much every part of this. I often think that I do not have the strength to go through this again if it does not work. I give all you ladies who have done this more than once so much credit. I hope I can, but at this point I am unsure. I'm just trying to get through it as well as I can. We will be strong for each other. So that way when one of us if feeling like we can't go on the others will help hold us up and keep the course.
Charity - I hope your back is feeling better. I have the same problem you do with my left ovary. It is fused to the back of my uterus from a prior surgery and does not work very well. I am concerned that they will not be able to get to it to retrieve any eggs but my RE said that he never was not able to get to an ovary before no matter where it was so I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Day one of stims for me went fine (I am knocking on wood as we speak so not to jinx myself) I hope it continues that way. I'm drinking lots of water in hopes that would keep me feeling good. I have my first scan on Monday morning so we will see how it is going.

Hey Jeck, no, my RE didn't put me on any meds prior to Lupron. Do most people take BCPs prior to downreggin? Good luck with your hcg shot tonight and EC on Monday. Wow, 25 is a great number!

Nance--I know this is all hard, its amazing what we are willing to do to make our dreams come true!!!! Glad the stims are going well... Yes, I am ready to pop!!!! I feell so full and its hard to find a comfortable position to get in. I am ready for the retrieval and I hope that I don't get OHSS!!
Jovigal--Everybody's cycle is so different, I did bcp's but I know there is some that don't... I really don't know what purpose the bcp's serve anyway?!?!?

Hello Everyone,
I recently found this site and was amazed at how supportive and wonderful all the posting on this site are. I am new to the IVF game however have been through the Chlomid and AI cycles many times in the past four years. I am 29 years old and my husband is 28 years old. We have been through all the testing and I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. So here we are now starting our first IVF. I currently on day 6 on Lupron and start my ovulation induction medication the end of next week. If anyone has any insight into what I should expect with this IVF or advice please feel free to share and in the mean time I will continue to read your postings and will no longer feel alone in this infertitily world.

jstrandlund!!!!!So Glad you found us!!! How are you doing on the Lupron??? Some people experience hot flashes while on the lupron... Hope you are doing well on the lupron. Keep us updated on how you are doing!!
