Hey Everyone,

I'm still lurking on here, and I'm way past needing to post. I'm doing well. I'm anxiously awaiting our next u/s on Wednesday to verify if we only have 1 or 2 in there, and of course, I want to see that heartbeat again. The worrying just continues. *sigh* Wednesday will also be my last visit with RE, then I'll see our OB 2 weeks after that. I really still can't believe that we're pregnant.

My only symptoms are that I'm in the bathroom every hour, and I'm SUPER clumsy now. I seriously drop 2-3 things everyday. It's so weird. My hips have HAD IT with the PIO shots. I only have 14 more days to go, and every one seems like an eternity now. It's definitely all worth it, but I'll be glad when it's over.

Oh - and before I forget...DO NOT go get a massage in your first trimester. I've had almost a massage a month for the past 2 years. I had my first massage since we started IVF last Monday, and I was so nauseous (I was sure I was miscarrying) for 2 days. Even though I love massages, I'm waiting until 2009 before I have another one. UGH!!!

rlk - Congratulations!!! I can't wait to hear if it's 1 or 2 at your next u/s. And you had such a great heartbeat on the 1 too!! I SOOOOO identify with your story from last Sunday. There almost isn't a Sunday that I don't tear up or cry after church. Right now, there is a lady who just had her 4th child, and she is such a dingbat. She keeps bringing her newborn to Sunday School, and I can barely stand it. I can't hardly even look at the baby. I thought this would get easier when I got pregnant, but I really think that I'm not going to feel better until we're holding our own baby. Besides that, after everything I've been through, I would never bring my newborn to a group class where someone else could be struggling emotionally.

ann and suzhan - I'm so sorry for what you guys have been going through.

lispetite - Welcome to the website!!! This is such a great thread. :D

nice to hear how you're doing J&C. I'm surprised someone did a massage in your first trimester, I've had a couple of therapists say they won't do it in the first trimester....maybe the sicknes is the reason?

Am I too late in this thread to post? I am 5dp5dfet. I test on the 28th of April, which is 11dpfet. I have ZERO symptoms others than the normal progesterone side effects. Trying not to be concerned. All our blasts were Grade A, Excellent.

Here's a question - anyone use the estrogen patches for a FET before? If so, HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET THE GLUE OFF?! I have rubbed myself raw, literally to the point of bleeding. It's ridiculous. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all!

It seems we have a lot going on this week!

Nicaliw and Kimberley: How's the 2WW treating you? Do you think you'll POAS? I wasn't able to wait for the Beta--I POAS almost everyday starting from 5dp5dt. Obviously, I'm not a patient person! Nicaliw: only 5 days to go until the good news!! Kimberley: May 2nd will be here before you know it. I know it seems like forever, but you'll be surprised how quickly it will come up!

Lispetite: Your Beta is on Thursday, right? How exciting! Keep us posted!

Cocosmomma: Welcome! I've never used an estrogen patch before, but maybe baby oil would help? I've used it to get rid of the glue from band-aids and it seems to help.

J&C: YAY!!! It's so good to hear from you--I was getting worried (you know, because I need something/anything to worry about!!). Ugh. The massage sounded less than relaxing! Did you feel sick while they were doing it or only afterwards? Note to self...NO MASSAGES FOR NOW!!I can't wait to hear how everything goes tomorrow at your u/s!! The wait for the next u/s is interminable isn't it? Actually, the wait for anything in this process (for the ER, for the ET/FET, for the Beta test, for ob-sonos...) is tortuous!! Keep us posted!

Nothing new here. Actually, I got some sad news yesterday about one of my best friends. She told me that she had suffered a miscarriage last week and had to have a D&C on Friday. She would have been 10 weeks. I was so devastated for her. She doesn't know that I'm pregnant (we haven't told any friends), and, obviously, it wasn't the right time to tell her. I have to admit something horrible, though. Although I feel so awful for her, I couldn't help but get worried for me after that news. Am I a terrible person? Instead of solely focusing on her and her pain, I started to get nervous and anxious about how my pregnancy will progress. Ugh. Why does this have to be such a hard process for so many people?!?

Hey coco.....I have the exact same problem. Its really embarassing, all those dirty looking sticky squares on my tummmy. The one thing I found that works better than just soap and water is alcohol wipes or rubbing alcohol. I have also rubbed myself raw and caused bleeding. My skin is actually so traumatized now that it hurts every time I remove one. So much dermal stripping!

Rlk.....lol am the definition of impatient. I already poas yesterday and today...INSANE  Of coures they're both negative cause they're both just 3 and 4 day post 6 day transfer.....silly me. I just keep thinking that if its positive it'll save me some waiting time. I told myself I wasn't going to do it but thats easier said than done. Last time I poas every day and finally got a positive the day before the official beta and my beta was 76.

Nic:

The baby oil worked beautifully!! I just used a wash cloth to wipe the glue off. It was great! Try it.

Hello everyone, you are all so lovely. My testing date is Monday 28 April however, I think I have a BFN as I had a show today. It is really strange as I had a rash in my last pregnancy and I have the same rash right now. I guess the drugs can mimic a pregnancy. Very gutted but trying to remain positive at the same time. xxxx

Hey Everyone,

We had our second u/s today, and it was wonderful. There is only 1, and the second sac is dissipating. We heard and saw a good, strong heartbeat again (181), and we're just thrilled. I've decided that if I can hold off, I won't tell my office until after Memorial Day. My last PIO shot is on May 4th, and I'm sooooo looking forward to that day.

cocosmomma - Welcome to the board!!! It's never too late to join the thread. Good luck with that 2ww. I didn't have any symptoms at all and we got a BFP, so keep with the PMA!!!

rlk - Hey girl - I can't wait to hear your next u/s results too!!! For last week's massage, it was very relaxing while I was getting the massage, but about 30 minutes after I left, I felt so extremely nauseous for about 48 hours. Miserable!! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. A miscarriage isn't fun for anyone, and I don't wish it on anybody. And your thoughts are perfectly normal. I know that I'm still struggling with being happy and excited with this pregnancy. I'm very guarded in my emotions, and I'm afraid to let myself get excited. When you've waited for 5 years, it just still doesn't seem real yet.

listpetite - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Please let us know your results on Monday.

Hi ladies - well we're back from our much needed week in Cabo and it was absolutely wonderful!! I did absolutely nothing but lay on the beach, read, eat, and have a few drinks :D Nothing else new with me, just waiting for AF to arrive so I can start BCP's. Hoping 2nd time is a charm.

J&C/rlk1 - I'm so excited for both of you and wish you the very best..you both deserve these beautiful pregnancies!

Hope everyone else is doing well and I'm looking forward to reading about all the upcoming BFP's.
