Hi all! I have completely fallen out of the loop on this board AND I STARTED IT! HA! But I'm in a hold pattern, so there isn't much to say. However, I have been trying to keep up.

JHarris - a positive HPT is awesome news! I know you are wary of a full-blown celebration, but right now you are pregnant, so enjoy it! I pray your beta will confirm it and you'll be on your way to a healthy pregnancy!

Val - the journey is finally beginning. Good luck!

To everyone else - stay strong. I'll be checking in on you.

Until then....

Hi all,
I’ve been out of town on a much needed girl’s trip to a beautiful cabin on a lake. I had a very fun and relaxing time but had no Internet access so I’m playing catch up and a lot has happened!!

Welcome ndgo82, loistheliar, Much Hope, Biddy, TrueBeliever, newtoivfgirl, and anyone I've missed.

Karenvancouverisland-Happy belated birthday, I just know this year of your life holds a BFP for you!

Babyloves-Congratulations on your BFP!! Way to start off this thread!

JDC-Congratulations on a successful retrieval and on your fertility report. And on your transfer, gosh I’ve missed so much. Just do your best to try to stay positive but I found that my mood and outlook were all over the place during my last 2ww, just do your best.

Turtlesonastump-Way to go on no cysts, so far so good.

Rosario-I’m glad everything went well with your ET, 8 sounds like a very lucky number! LOL at your audience for your PIO shot :)

Biddy-Your follie numbers sound good, all you need is one.

Jharris12-Hooray! I’m so happy for your hpt results!! Can’t wait to hear your big fat beta numbers!!

Alimoyni-I’m glad your ER went well, let us know how everything else goes.

Muggsey24-I started my progesterone oil the day before my ER, but each clinic is different. I do know that I ordered it along with all of my other drugs so I had it on hand well before everything.

Hopinginpa-Congratulations on your beta, I bet the next time you go in your numbers will be huge!

As for myself, I went off of BCP last Thursday. AF started on Sunday, but it was much lighter than usual which freaked me out a little but my nurse said the Lupron can do that. I went in for an estrodial blood test on Monday and everything looked good so I started my Estrace pills on Tuesday. I take 2 a day for 4 days and than I increase that. I’ll go in for an US to check the thickness of my uterine lining next Thursday and am still on track to do my FET on August 21.

Take care everyone.

Good morning ladies!!

hopinginpa~ I know and you know how hard those low numbers are but in your case, it's still early and I would try to take it easy, keep your PMA going as hard as that is.... but you're pregnant and I've seen other girls pregnant with that low of a number! You'll be in my thoughts and hope to see a much higher beta on Friday...Hugs to you!

Kate21~ You and I are starting today!!! YEAHHHH :D How are you doing? Would love to hear from you and if it all goes well, we could have the same due date...wouldn't that be the best!!

Rosario~ You made me laugh! I just see the scene with your whole family watching you having a PIO shot! Glad it wasn't painful and I hope it stays that way. The shot itself is not painful....it's afterwards!

Bell-02~ Glad you had a relaxing vacation at the cabin. Congrats on starting your meds for your FET! It will be here sooner than we know!

Cocos~ So good to hear from you!! What is your decision about your next cycle? Have you planned on waiting until after your work slows down? Sounds like you're doing well.

Time to go get ready to go to RE's office, than go to work and be at my AP by 5pm...another full day for me. I'm really excited and was up way too early. I guess I'll calm down after my US today knowing I've got the green light.
I'll catch up with all of you tonight...have a beautiful day :D

Much love and baby dust!!!!

Hi Girls,

Just a quick one as I have my step daughter still here and we have to go and make chocolate brownies in a minute!!

Jharris - way to go girl!!! :D :D :D Fantastic news, that PMA obviously worked - let us know the beta #'s

Hopinginpa - still keep the faith. Think it is more important the beta no's double than what the actual no is. Am sending you lots of baby dust for your next beta :D

Val - yep start stims today! Picked up the drugs yesterday and went through how to do the injections (it all came flooding back even tho it has been 2 yrs since I did my last one  ). Now the real journey starts, I go back next Tuesday for b/w to check my levels and then they adjust it accordingly. Apparently in Sweden they have figured out what dosage is needed purely by b/w, I won't have an u/s until the Sat before we fly out - weird eh? All my other cycles I've had loads of scans which now sound like they weren't actually needed!!! Would be cool to have the same due date tho, we can help each other through m/s etc as well!!

Hi to all the newbies, things aren't as bad as they first seem! Once you've done everything once it all becomes easier!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok? Rosario & JDC how is the 2ww - not too bad I hope? Will try and do more personals later.

Enjoy your day!

Good morning ladies. Just a quick post, then I need to get some work done!!

hopinginpa: You had your ET a day after me, and your beta 2 days before mine is scheduled!! Sounds to me like you just had a really early beta! So I'm sure by Friday, your numbers will be exactly where they are supposed to be! Best of luck to you!

valerie: Thank you for everything! Good luck with US & BW this am, and good luck starting your shots!!!

Rosario: Congrats on your first PIO!!

Thanks to all the congrats ladies. You have all been so supportive through this whole process, some the first AND second cycle! I know your time is coming, too. Never give up home, and keep up that PMA!!

I took 3 more tests this morning (yes, I've become addicted), one had both lines appear, one had that pretty blue + appear, and the 3rd had a big fat digital YES+!!! I can't wait for my beta tomorrow!! I will try to check in a little later to do more personals. I think work really wants me to get something accomplished today! Baby dust ladies!!

WooHoo Jharris!! Good luck on that beta tomorrow but it should be less stressful now :)

Got my 1st fert report and I am very excited!

Of the 18 eggs they got at ER, 12 were mature. Of those 12 - 9 fertilized!!

So now waiting for tomorrows report to determine if we go with a 3day transfer or a 5day transfer. I am still rooting for 5day and with 9 eggs hopefully they can make it that long.

Val and Kate and Congrats on getting starting stims!

Hoping Please don't despair yet. I think it is just so soon....you are in my thoughts and prayers!

JHarris Can't say CONGRATS! enough! Sooooo happy for you!

bell02 Glad to hear from you!

Keeping this short today! I'm doing better at actually focusing on work today. I keep looking for some implantation spotting, but nothing. I already bought some HPT, so I guess I'll be POAS before my beta even though I said I wouldn't!

Everyone have a wonderful day! My day is not complete without you! :)

Question for my ladies. I just found out I'll be traveling for work around my day 7.. this is my first ivf, will be starting Lupron this weekend.. first "needle"
I'll be flying for work w/in the US, will I be able to take the medication and needles with me on the plane?? go thru the detector?? Do I need a note from my dr or something?

Thanks!

From the FAA's website:
All medications in any form or type (for instance, pills, injectables, or homeopathic) and associated supplies (syringes, Sharps disposal container, pre-loaded syringes, jet injectors, pens, infusers, etc.) are allowed through the security checkpoint once they have been screened. Please have you medication and associated supplies separated from your other property in a separate pouch/bag when you approach the Security Officer at the walk-through metal detector.

I'm not sure about the needles and going through the detector. You might have to contact the airport about. However, Lupron does have to be refrid.. You will have to put it on ice packs, and make sure the place you are staying at wil have a fridge when you get there.

I don't think Lupron has to be refrigerated. On the box it states that it has to stay below 75 degrees F. I did a google on Lupron Temp and they mention storing Lupron at room temperature. If it were me I would put some ice with it just in case you are in a lot of heat, but I wouldn't worry too much about keeping it cold. That is just my 2 cents.

Hey Girls!

Just did my first injection - how nervous!! Had a bit of a panic and lost some of the dosage out of the vial (I'm meant to get 3 days worth out of one but looks like I will only get 2) - I've emailed my consultant so hopefully he will get back to me and let me know it is ok. I have plenty of drugs so running out is not a problem.

One down, 10 more to go and then lots of lovely eggs!! Val - how did yours go today?
