That's awesome, Michelle :) Sounds like things are moving along, and your news is definitely encouraging for those of us just a couple of weeks behind you! I second everything you said! I have loved being pregnant, but this last bit isn't that much fun at all. Just can't wait till we're holding our little ones in our arms and not our bellies :)

KC, how are you and the twins doing? Any signs of their appearance?

michelle, i too have that achy feeling - its like its all in my pelvis and it really aches when ive been sitting for too long... its almost like its all stretching or something, v.weird feeling... my doc said that the baby has moved down as well but theres still more room for it to move down there so im thinking wow, how much more uncomfortable can it get lol! i see my ob tomorrow so i'll find out if the bub has totally engaged or not i guess?!
im soooo nervous about the labour and birth - i know its meant to be a natural life event but i go into panic mode just thinking about it! i cant wait to meet our baby but i think it would be easier just knowing/confirming that everythings going to be ok ya know? im such a chicken and worry about everything duuhhh
anyways mich, sorry to hear about not being able to move homes - sounds ludicrous! so unfair aint it! hopeuflly it'll all work out BEFORE your baby is 6months old! fingers crossed!
brandy, hows the carpal tunnel?
hope everyone else is well :D
luv, d

I feel all kinds of things going on, but am not sure what to count as Braxton Hicks. My doc asked me how many I was having, and I didn't know what to tell him. Can any of you describe this for me? I feel lower abdominal cramps, which is what I count as a contraction, but I sometimes also feel radiating pain in my lower back, and twingy, stingy kind of pains in my lower abdomen...

brandy, thats what ive been getting as well - it kinda starts off as period pain and then it radiates to my lower back... also, my abdomen tightens like a wave then releases after about 10secs... a couple of weeks ago i thought it was the start because they were getting frequent altho not so painful but i thought that was the start to real labour but nope, nada!
this morning ive woken up with period pain and a bit of back pain - i feel sooo pre-menstrual, complete with a bit of a headache n all!! oh, and chocolate cravings... :?

Thanks for the input, Danica :) They must be what I am feeling, then. I don't feel my belly get hard though, which I've heard a lot of people say. I think it feels hard all of the time!

Take care, Danica, and hope you and all of the ladies are getting some well deserved rest :D

Hi Michelle.

I hear you. Being pg with twins, I'm already measuring almost full term for a singleton, so things are quite uncomfy in there.

Good luck for your delivery.

best of luck danica. I imagine we'll be there shortly. the second tri just seemed to fly by. I've set a goal for myself to make it to 34 weeks, and consider everything beyond that a bonus.

Mind if I pop my head in? I'm 28wks and 3 days now! Had a scan on Tues and saw consultant. Everything ok so far and hoping for a natural delivery (can't believe I'm even thinking about delivery after this hugely long road)! Booked in for another scan at 36wks, and doc says he doesn't want me going more than a week-10days overdue.
Putting the cot up on Monday. Just wondering if it's too early to start washing everything yet. Don't want to leave it too late incase baby's early, or incase I'm not too mobile!!! Is it true that you shouldn't use Comfort when washing baby stuff?! Or was that another of my mad dreams?
Anyway, got to work now - well done one and all! We're here!!!!!

Danica

Thinking of you and sending loads of hugs your way - fingers crossed it's not too long now.

I went 6 days overdue and was convinced she was going to be at least 2 weeks early!!!

Can't wait to see your news.
