Thanks WC... I have found a group but alas they are just not like the one you describe. I did find a forum that posts "freebies" but they're from the manufacturers (Kimberly-Clarke etc)... so we'll see. At least its good for coupons. Plus on the twins board is a lady who lives pretty close and she offered a link to a baby sale day... maybe I can get there and get lucky...

Yes, I have great friends and they were all about 45 minutes away until I was led to move up here and now they are all within 10 to 15 minutes (I moved up near my job). VERY good ladies - like sisters (even the way we disagree

Well, I am back to work tomorrow... I have such bad acid reflux but it took me a while to realize that's what it was as it doesn't come all the way up but just enough to cause some burning and coughing. UCK! I have also had a couple of intense contractions just laying here the last hour (3 I think). They were QUITE uncomfortable and very much a surprise!!!! I hope I can get away with working through Feb - now I KNOW I won't make it through 34w (march 20th) but that's OK... March 3rd through June 13th is about 12 weeks so I'll be ok... Just have to disappoint my karate students and put my replacement in sooner than expected. OB doesn't want me being stupid... (me either!). I am eating well - much better than I have these last 6 pregnant months because I get so nauseous that I whatever I put into my mouth HAS to count.

OK, I am going to try to get some sleep tonight - I have such bad upper back pain that I can't even get comfortable laying down! I'm on my back with one body pillow under my knees - much more comfy than on my left side...

Nice size babies!!!!! I am sooooo jealous that you are getting all those US. I had my last one at 20 weeks and my OB won't do another one unless there are complications. I would love to see my baby girl again!!!!

Oh My GOSH WC!!!! You have 2 1/2 pounders?!?!?! I probably do too though. My babies have been measuring big all along - it is such a blessing. In answer to your question... I see my OB every 2 weeks now (since 24w) and I have a monthly growth scan. I DID do a 3D/4D U/S which was not comfortable but I am glad I have the DVD and CD of pics

My OB manually checked my cervix on Friday at my follow-up appt and she said it was long and closed - no "presenting parts" as she put it...

I think my back pain is being caused by a pinched nerve because today at work I was getting dizzy again BUT also felt like my hearing (ears) was blocked too. My back is in such bad shape and I need to get to a chiropractor. I am getting the number tonight...

Thanks for the heads-up re: gavistan... I will check that out. The post nasal drip is just awful too... YUCK! I cough up and get a bad gag reflex in the morning which causes me to feel sick for more than a few mintues...

I am big too - gained 35lbs!!! My girlfriend who came over yesterday says my belly looks small to her! Ha! That's because SHE can't feel them sitting on my back. They are deep in there and constantly on the move... That's too funny about your bed though. I worry about a few things I am getting to heavy for like the preschool chairs I have to sit in to conference with teachers

very embarassing...

Ladies!!!! I love you all and miss hearing from you - right WC?!?!

woodcliff I laughed out loud at your bed story; I know it is not practical right now but I'm sure you are going to love your king size bed:) Your babies are meting nice and big, so you guys are going to need that extra space for them too:)

My baby is having a blast in my stomach (or so it seams to me); her latest favorite thing is to lay sideways in the morning an wake me up with pushing of her lags on one side and little hands on the other side. Yesterday it was so persistent that I woke up laughing. My belly is getting rounder, but my weight is still kind of low(?!?!)...I am worried that I have a opposite problem from you twin mammies; so far I gained 8 1/2 pounds. My back does look slimmer but I can't help it; I'm worried. My glucose test came back normal too.

Did any of you ladies write down your birth plan? We are going to do a natural birth so the lady that was teaching us hypnobirthing technique told us to have one. I gave it to my doctor and he told me that there is no problem with our requests.

hello!

WC, well done on the size of your little nippers, that's great! I see my OB/GYN every two weeks and have been told to have a scan every 3 weeks now. apparently the after week 30 they won't do a cervical measurement anymore and just let nature take its course.

I had a scan last THursday (25weeks and 3 days) and baby a was 1lb 15oz and baby b 1lb 10oz. I don't know if you remember that they were a bit worried about baby b at my previous scan but s/he seems to have caught up! so no bed rest for me... yet!

I'm just back from my 2 week OB/GYN visit and failed my glucose tolerance test miserably! apparently the cut off is 140 and my test came back at 179!! Next week I have to do the full on fast - not fun and more needles! anyone else fail?

I've now put on 27lbs and am getting scared about how much more I'll put on - pre-pregnancy I only weight 108lbs and am quite petite. 28lbs is weighing me down already.

Have a terrible week at work, need to be there at 7:30 every morning this week and not getting home until 7ish... really want to cut down my hours but is so tough when there is no one there to pick up the work.

you probably dont remember me anymore as ive not posted in months. i posted right at the beginning of the thread and then have just been reading.

just wanted to pop in to say i am so truly sorry michelle. i'm sat at work crying. the thought of losing my baby now is unbearable and so i can only imagine how you must feel. i'm lost for words. massive hugs!!!

hi to everyone else...i see everyone is doing well! woodcliff - think you asked if everyone is still working. i'm working until i'm 36 weeks but i guess i dont count as i'm only carrying a singleton!!

cant wait though!!!! lol

woodcliff just a little not on the bed type. I don't know if it's going to help you, but we recently bought a bed (queen though) and I decided to try a soft bed....Ever since we got it I sleep like a baby, my hip doesn't ache when I sleep too long on one side any more. I know that everyone is different, but I can tell you that soft bed is for me.

Hello guys,
Cocoa, I am with you on the back pain. I couldn't sleep last night at all!!! My middle back just gets numb and the pain in unbearable. Whe I go to bed and I fall asleep it is fine, but then, I wake up in the middle of the night and it is awfull!!!
What are you guys doing to ease your pain, may be prenatal massage?
