Well guys i got good news. Out of the 8 eggs they retrieved all 8 got fertilized. My ET should be Sunday or Monday the latest. That leaves me at a 4dt or 5dt.

Hello Ladies,

Hope all are well. It has been a busy week here. Went to the waterpark yesterday with DD, and 2 neighbor kids. Had a blast but they wore me out. I have lost track keeping up the last couple of days. So much going on.

Jharris- OMG that is so great, can't wait to hear the BETA.

Rosario and Alimony- 8 and 9 fert eggs is fabulous really, great.

YAY Valerie and Kate on starting shots, I am getting anxious to start myself.

Good evening!

A quick post here!

I went for BW and US and RE said everything looks good. No cyst on my ovary, that's a relief.
But since it was only my second day of AF, I get to start the injections tomorrow morning!! I'm actually glad, it falls on 08/08/08 and find that to be a very lucky number! My AP thought the same.
So the olympics start tomorrow and so am I...my baby olympics and it's up to me to win that gold medal. I've got 2 weeks to do it just like the olympics
Anyway, I'm very psyched.

Jharris is getting her beta tomorrow too...sounds like she won her medal before it all starts!!

Kate~ Don't worry about having a little leak out. You will get used to it. Make sure you push the plunger all the way to get the last drop out.
My DH does it for me and does a splendid job!

Rosario~ 8 out of 8 is fantastic...see 8 again, a lucky number!! I'm very happy for you and it sounds like you'll have good embies to work with!

Rosario –Great Job on your fert report. That is awesome that all of your eggs got fertilized.!! I can’t believe your whole family watched. That is too cute. My first few didn’t hurt, but watch out after awhile.

Well I went for baseline today and everything looks great. My E2 was 34. They said that was fine. I have my first shot of lupron tonight and start Gonal-F tomorrow. YIPPEE!! If everything goes the same as last time, ER will be on Aug. 20.

Turtles~ I remember you from the May/June thread and here we are together starting stims again!!! Sooo exciting and we're going to bring some more BFP on this thread! My ER should be around the 19-21 of August depending how fast the follies develop.

jharris~ I'm so excited for you that I thought you had your beta today and was looking all over the board this evening to find out....I know your number will be fabulous tomorrow.

JDC~ You've been quiet ...how are you feeling? Any cramps and twinges that would indicate those gorgeous embies of yours have implanted? Are you eating your pineapple?
I've already started eating some, since I love it I figured it couldn't hurt.

Well they are announcing a heat wave for the next 3 days and let me tell you that I'm dying out there during the day. I'm drinking as much as I can but it's tough working in that heat...phhhhtttt!

i had a great session at my AP today and felt so good afterwards. I plan on doing some more even after I'm pregnant, although it's getting to be rather expensive.
And my treatment went up by $1,000 , that I'm not too happy about.
Oh well, what can I do?

Hi Ladies,

I had my first check since starting STIMs 5 days ago, and unfortunately had a disappointing visit. I only have 7 small follies on the left side and only 2 on the right. After the ultrasound and bloodwork, which slowed low estradol levels (145), they doubled my follistim and menopur dosages. I go back in on Saturday. The doctor said she was tempted to cancel my cycle.
I'm only 31 and surprised to have what she called "premature ovarian failure". I just can't believe it!
Anyone else out there with low estradol levels or follie counts?
I know it only takes 1 good emby to get a BFP, but I am feeling so discouraged about only having 9 follicies to work with! The clinic has advised me that I shouldn't expect to have any left-over embies to freeze, either. A friend of mine who just went through IVF had 28 follies! I am definitely feeling like my body is just not cooperating!

A part of me feels like this is my only shot, since IVF will be too expensive for us once we move to California next month, and I know that is a lot of pressure. I am just really trying to stay positive right now, and focus on that one little embie that will make it! YEAH!

Warm thoughts to all of you going through this. No one can ever really know the depths of sorrow and joy, elation and dispair this journey entails until they have been through it themselves. Keep the faith..baby dust to all of you!

Good Morning ladies... I hope everyone is doing well given our anxiety of the waiting game I had my ET yesterday, I had 2 blast put back. One they said was perfect and the other they said was just a lil behind in growth. Out of the 5, 2 stopped growing so we should know soon if the last one survived to freeze. So, the waiting game now begins. My clinic did not require any bed rest, I relaxed yesterday but am back to work this morning feeling fine. I will take it easy during the 2WW, I do not want to have any self regret if things do not work out.

I did get a picture of my blast and they are so pretty, I also got a picture of the ultrasound after placement. I have been staring at those pictures ever since. LOL

Val I've been following everyone's progress, but nothing to report on my end. I haven't even felt a twinge! And like I said previously, I keep looking for spotting, but nada! I'm trying to keep my mind occupied because I just obsess about what is going on in there. Glad to hear you have gotten started and I wish all of the best for you - you deserve it!

jenolina 9 is a good amount of follies to be working with. Try and keep your spirits up because this can still happen for you....I'm surprised they waited 5 days to do u/s on you after starting stims. My clinic checks me after 2 days of starting stims, then every other day, then every day. Remember, many women get pregnant with only a few follies and eggs.

Well, I will work hard today and try to keep my mind off my uterus!

Good Friday morning ladies. It's lucky 8/8/08!! I should get my beta results sometime today! Hopefully they won't wait forever to call me! I took another HPT this morning, and got a big POSITIVE!! So it's looking good!

Kate21: Congrats on your 1st injection! Trust me, you will get the hang of it quickly!

jenolina: Don't give up hope yet. Hopefully the dosage increase will get them follies going and everything will be fine. I am surprised they waited so long for you first visit. Don't feel down about your age and # of follies. I'm 32, and my first cycle I only had 10. I had more my 2nd cycle, but still only 14. Good luck!

TrueBeliever: Congrats on ET, and welcome to the 2ww!! The key is to stay busy to keep yourself distracted!

JDC: I had NO symptoms at all during the 2ww except for feeling tired. You still have plenty of time to develop symptoms! Good luck!

jenolina - I was in the same boat as you the first time around. I had a low E2 number. You do have more follies then I did. They did cancel mine when after 14 days of stims because I only had 3 follies the right size. So working with 9 is great. My second try they changed my protocol to a flare protocol and I ended up with 6 eggs. So try to keep PMA. Good luck!!

TrueBeliever - Your ET sounded great. I also got pics last time and couldn't stop staring at them. Hope the 2ww flies by for you.

Jharris - I am waiting on pins and needles for you numbers. I hope you get a great beta. That is so cool you get your results on 8/8/8. Good luck!!

Well, I started stims today and I didn't have any trouble giving myself the shots. I have been moody and according to my DH, a little bitchy the last couple of weeks. I hope that now that I have started I will be better, or at least weepy. He does better with weepy.

Jenolina - 9 follies is a good number. My last time I stimmed I only had 3 follies and 1 was a dominate follicle so it was no good so my cycle was cancelled. Don't give up hope yet. I can't believe your clinic is so negative. You can have 9 good mature follies that all fertilize and you could use 2 and have 7 to freeze. I know this isn't exactly realistic but ya never know what can happen. PMA all the way.

TrueBeliver - Congrats on ET. You are now PUPO. When is your beta?

JDC - Are ya going to POAS? Hope you aren't going crazy in the 2ww.

I took today off of work because it is my B-day and I am just a whiner and can't work on my b-day. Was supposed to go out of town to visit my sister but that fell through because DH couldn't get off of work. So I am just kind of bumming around today. Going to do some errands and then go out to dinner with DH, my bother and his family.
i am such a dork I figured since it was my b-day as well as 8-8-08 (can you guess 8 is my lucky number) that this was my lucky day. So I POAS since i haven't gotten AF and of course it was a BFN. I knew it would be but I just thought since this was a lucky day I might be surpised. But no life doesn't work that way. I should be getting AF here in the next couple of days. I have an appointment with RE on Monday for u/s and b/w so then I will know when I can officiall start stims.
