Hi Ladies,

Just popping back in real quick.

Charlie~ glad you had a nice birthday, you deserve it.

Steph ~ How are ya feeling? This 2ww is hell for me! I am a miserable witch and am going nuts waiting. I am getting some test at the store later and starting to test daily until my blood test next week. The suspence is killing me - ugh if only I could have a drink!

Speaking of drinks~ What are yall drinking other than water? I cannot seem to find anything that is caffeine free and sweetner free that I like and I am not a big water fan to begin with.

Hope everyone is doing well, update us on how many eggs you girls got today!!
Jessica

Q: Does anyone else out there have the same symptoms as me?? Am I crazy or is there a chance I could not be pregnant. My boobs are slightly sore, cramping w/back pain since 2dpt and very tired all the time no matter how much sleep I get. Once or twice i have been nauseous in the evening. Should I be having AF cramps while I am taking progesterone??? Can someone please help???

Steohpanie - Those symptoms sound great for a BFP! Cramps are very common with pregnancy and considered normal as long as there is no bleeding. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm feeling horribl;e I called for a embie report and they don[t seem to be growing well. They are day 2 and only 2-3 celled and some have fragmentation. I'm not sure what time they looked at them and I'm trying to convince myself they could have been checked before 48 hours. But, it doesn't look great.

Does anyone know about the daily growth of their embies and how they ended up by day 3? I'd appreciate any incite.

hello ladies,

I'm lying in bed still very sleepy from the anaesthetic this morning but wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing today.

Daly, stay positive my dear, I don't know much about what happens after the EC as I've never got that far but you are such a strong person and your positivity and strength has been an inspiration to me. let us know what the clinic says tomorrow. Will be thinking of your little embies.

Stephanie, I hope that these are BFP symptoms!! you could be our first! take good care of yourself over the next few days.

Charlie, happy birthday sweet, glad that you had a nice day - chocolate fountain and wine - sounds like my heaven!

Jess, I'm drinking a lot of de-caf tea. Hard for a Brit to swap to de-caf but after a while you get used to it. I've also been buying bottled water as for some reason I find that I drink a lot more if i can carry it around with me.

BWHD, I think you're doing the right thing. My sister conceived her beautiful baby girl after a far too many glasses of Pinot Grigrio and Irish Coffee on her 30th birthday. As she wasn't trying for a baby, she spent the next two weeks drinking gallons of diet coke and doing everything we are told to avoid. I've tried to be good this time when it comes to food and drink but haven't gone down the acupuncture route. In all honesty more needles and more scheduled time off was stressing me out and i felt that this stress would be worse than the treatment.

Hopeful, how did it go for your today?

sorry to miss everyone else, I'm still a bit sleepy - I'm thinking of you all though.

So I'm feeling a bit sore. It took them three times to get an IV in and both my hand and arm swelled up massively which meant that they had to stop, re-jab and try again. I'm black and blue everywhere now!! They took 30 eggs. I was very suprised by the number but we know that many of those would be too immature and a few probably passed it. We had 26 last time and still no fertilisation so I'm not counting my chickens yet. The hospital will phone me in the morning with the news. I only need one!!!!

Back to BBC America now, wish I was at home in the UK but it's about as close as I can get.

Tons of love to you all

Daly - try to stay positive! On day 2 ours were 4 cell, and day 3 I think they can go up to 8 cell - but we did a 2 day transfer - so who knows if ours ever made it to that? We did have a day 2 - 2 cell that they were happy enough to freeze. Some are just slow starters! Two ladies that I cycled with in January got BFP's with slow starters! I will keep everything crossed for you!

Steph - stay positive only 2 days till you will know! Don't trust your body at the moment!

Hi ladies

Sorry that it took so long to get to PC. Had my EC yesterday and was in severe pain, coudnt seat or walk much at all  . My DH went back to work yesterday and I collapsed on the way to bedroom from bathroom. Not sure how long I was unconscious for  as I woke up from hurting my right elbow pretty bad. Poor DH rushed back from work to stay with me...

Im off work today and just had a call from the nurses advising me to stay at home tomorrow too, as I seem to be recovering really slowly. Since I had over 30 follies my body has been overstimulated and I need to get plenty of rest.

On the positive note, 18 eggs were collected yesterday (14 mature ones), 9 have been fertilised and if my blood test on Sunday is ok, ET will be on Monday. Fingers Crossed!

I have so much respect for all you ladies that went through full cycles more than once. It trully takes a strong person do go through all the pain, both physical and emotional.

I cant seat for too long as my tummy stick hurts. Thinking of all of you :)

Sorry forgot to ask 1 question about rest after ET...

-How many days after ET would you recommend?
I think my work is getting annoyed with me since I took 3 days off for EC so far...

Thanks

Bigwhitehapydog I think that you should do what ever your body tells you to do….If you feel like a couple of sips of nice red vine – just think of all those kids being made because of it… You know it all by now… Image

Annie: I have to tell you, as a photographer, from my professional point of view – the portrait of your babies is gorgeous. The lighting is just right and complementing (no double chins) and if I’m not mistaking - they are both smiling….
Good luck girl…. ImageImage

Hopeful2007 – those are really good news, but 30 follies is simply too much for any body…no wonder you have collapsed. When is your transfer?? You need to rest, that is for sure... Image

Donna good luck tomorrow!!!!!!!

Hi CroElla - ET is on Monday 16th if blood result on Sunday will be ok, they are hoping for hormones to go down otherwise ET will put too much pressure on my body and make me very sick. (Im already pretty sick so def dont like that option! )

Im hoping my body will heal by Sunday, otherwise they will have to freeze embries and do FET at later stage...

Hi all

Charlie- Thanks so much for your well wishes and its great to hear you had a good birthday. Keep your chin up and will be watching for whats next.

Susan- Thanks for your response.

Daly- Do you know how many your tranferring hope they all grow muscles and do really well for you. My everything is crossed for you.

Bigwhitehapydog- My clinic told me to give everything up but i believe i was putting my body and everyone around me through to much so i did my normal thing in moderation. Considering that you have done everything before i would try doing your normal things too.

Stephanie- I am currently on progesterone pessaries after EC and was told i would not get an AF even if i was not pregnant (after ET of course) so hopefully they are all symptoms of a BFP! I dont really understand what the progesterone is used for?

Rebecca- Keep positive like you say you only need 1.

Hopeful2007- Hope you are feeling a little better do not push yourself just let recovery come give it a couploe of days and rest up.It sounds very positive with the No. of eggs you got. Good luck.

Donna- Good luck.

Well yesterday i had to ring the hospital to see how fert went i was so scared even when i rang i told the nurse i didnt know if i wanted to know. Just one of those emotions i am sure we all go through but it was great news out of our 14 eggs 13 fertilized :D . So excited. Question to all those that have been there can i expect to loss some of those?
Can anyone tell me what the progesterone pessaries or if you are using them yourself, are used for after EC?
Thankyou and Thinking of you all.
