I took my last bcp last night- thank goodness- I've been on them for 5+ weeks!!! I have been on the Lupron now for 3 days now. At this clinic, I'm on Lupron for two whole weeks before starting stims. I don't remember being on Lupron that long last time...oh well, either way, we're getting going which is exciting. I think our transfer will end up the 3rd or 4th week of August.

Hope you all are doing well! Did we ever hear from Barbarella? I'm thinking we never did...that's too bad- I hope all went well for her.

donni, love those pix! Addie is a cutie, and she looks so happy. you are braver than I am , I can't bring myself to put pix on the boards. (and yes, I am weird about putting their names on, too! )

laura, yay! last bcp! those things are terrible! I can't remember how long I was on lupron for, but I remember being hungry all the time and those headaches!!! ugh! hopefully you won't get them.

faith, what's new girl? anymore rattle snake wranglin'? i think we should all take a vacation and come out to visit you on your acres of land....

twins are doing well...they are such good babies. the boy seems to need to be held to fall asleep. I am glad to do it, but I am worried he won't learn to fall asleep on his own. maybe it's too early to worry about that.

I am pumping breast milk and it is exhausting! the boy won't take the breast, and the girl does, but the doctor wants her to put on more weight right now. So I am pumping and fortifying with high calorie formula. i am ready to give up, there just seems to be no time for that with my 2 1/2 year old DD wanting attention, too. but I know they need it......ugh.

Beth- Great to hear from you! Glad to hear the twins are doing well. I definitely wouldn't worry about the boy needing to be held- they are still so young. Don't give up breastfeeding- it's definitely the best thing for them. I'm sure it's hard to do all the pumping and all especially with 3 little ones...but I'm for sure an advocate for trying to do it as long as you can. I nursed my ds for a year and it certainly was easier cuz I only had him but I think it's the reason he never has had an ear infection and that he's been pretty healthy in general. Good luck!! Thinking of you!!

Glad to see we've all made it on facebook now!!!!

Tomorrow I have an US and bloodwork to make sure I'm suppressed to start my stims on Saturday. Then I get to do 3 shots a day- yippppeeeee!!! I don't actually care cuz they're all subq shots so that is no big deal- I think it's the PIO shots I dread. But hey it's all worth it for sure.

Beth- Forgot to say that I am most definitely very hungry and have been eating so much from the bcp and now still on the Lupron. I have been getting dull headaches the last few days but they are tolerable and I don't need tylenol so not too bad...Laura

laura, how are you holding up? you should be on stims by now, right? the PIO shots? I hated those too, last time they put me on Suppositories, and I thought they were more disgusting and uncomfortable than the shots...I would rather have the shots.

did they give you an ER date yet?
I hear you about the breast fding, but it is so exhausting pumping every two/three hours. I know its best, but it sounds like I may be doing this for a while until they gain more weight. DD tries to hook up the pump parts to her belly, it's cute.

Faith- You never know with FB and stuff- I couldn't post on here for a while and now I can- who knows!!!!! How are you? 90 sounds hot but good- it was only barely 70 here today. When do you think you'll jump on the bandwagon of ivf fun again?

Donni- How are you? How's Addie- is she already going to be 1- wow?!!

Beth- Love your new pics of the twins- they are precious!! So is your ds not sleeping good and your dd is?- I think that's what you wrote on your pic captions.

Barbarella- Are you out there- we all miss ya and hope that things are going good!

We did our ET yesterday on day 2. It ended up that only 7 of my 14 eggs were mature. So they did icsi on those and actually only 2 fertilized so it pretty much worked out just how we wanted. We wanted to transfer two and have none left over to freeze. The two we transferred were 4 cell and the highest grade so we were really happy about that. All went well with the transfer. So now the wait...no fun! But if this time doesn't work, I'm very sure we are done with ivf for good- we feel so blessed already to have our ds and after lots of IUIs (with shots) and the other cycles, I'm done with all this. But of course I am hoping for the best this time

Laura I'm glad your ET went well! I've been thinking about you! Maybe you will have twins like Beth! I'm not sure when we will be on the ivf bandwagon. I sort of feel done with it! Like you said..after awhile you get to that point! But we do still have 12 frozen, so who knows!!
This might be a dumb question but how long do they typically say that you should use frozen embryos by? Is there a time limit? LOL! I'm really not sure! As far as I know they are always good but I thought I'd check.
Well, not too much to write since I've just posted but just wanted to say good luck! And take it easy for a couple days!

Thanks Faith! I think the frosties stay good 5-10 years but I'm not totally sure about that... I took it easy the last 3 days and today I've been up and around more but I'm pretty sore and tired now. Later all....
