Hi all,
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I got together with some college girlfriends and did a lot of laughing and shopping, perfect things to do during the 2ww :D

sbr-I sent you a PM, hang in there my friend.

Wicked-good luck with your transfer tomorrow!

AFM I've been POAS every day and today (Sunday) was the first day that the trigger shot was for sure out of my system. I have to say that it was very exciting to see even a false positive pregnancy test for a few days. It was also very hard to see that line fade away each day, even though I knew that I wanted it to go away because than I knew the trigger shot would be out of my system. I have a week to go before my beta so here's hoping that positive comes back!!

Good morning everyone;
Congrats to all that are PUPO! I hope to join you at the end of this week. I started PIO shots yesterday and will start Medrol on wednesday. I am on target for a friday transfer. The embryos need to be defrosted and the PGD needs to be done so I am assuming that will take place on wednesday or thursday...probably wednesday since they need a day for the PGD. I am getting so nervous and scared. Dh and I had an issue over the weekend when he told me that he didnt feel comfortable being in the room with me during the transfer and didnt want to go. At first I was like ok then the more I started to think about it the more upset I got. I mean is he kidding? I have been going through everything and his part was pretty minimal in comparison. The least he could do is sit by me when the embryos are transferred. After a mental breakdown on my part he said he would be there if they let him. I dont see why they wouldnt unless its a sterile thing.
And my friend who gives me my PIO shots is going away next week so I was looking into giving myself the shots but I dont think I can...she is going to come over on wednesday to help DH learn how to give them when she is away...wish us luck.
Has anyone been on Lovenox? I need to start those injections after the transfer and I am scared out of my mind. EVeryhting I read from "real people" says they hurt like hell and my stomach will be bruised beyond recognition. SIGH>>>>
Well to everyone else I am always thinking of you and I hope everyone is doing well.

Catching Up

Post by TrueBeliever »

Hello Everyone.. I am so excited to read all the posts.. I have been out of town and really need some time to catch up. I want to say CONGRATS to everyone who has had positive tests. That is such a joyous moment. Cherish every moment of that 9 months!!!!

To everyone starting stims or awaiting ER good luck. I have been there before and I know how stressful it can be. I was one that was not optimistic, I had about 11 follicles and only came out with 6 eggs. I cried and cried and cried. Of 6, 5 fertilized. By day 5, 4 were holding on. We transferred 2, and were pregnant with twins.. So, please have faith and know that it only takes one... That is what I am praying for my cycle in July, since I only have one frozen...

To my ladies in that 2WW hold on, for that time seems like eternity... Try to stay active and do things that may help keep your mind off of everything... That helped me, but I did like many others a POAS early... I can;t wait to hear your exciting BFP stories :D

AFM, I am waiting for AF. She should be hear by the end of the week. I am not doing Lupron or BC this cycle. I will go in for my baseline after the start of my cycle and then be advised of when to begin my Estrace. I have been told I will have my FET approx 21 days after start of Etrace. I am looking forward to it and am trying my best to stay positive... :?

Hi everyone! -

I had such a busy weekend. I am trying to catch up with all these posts. DH must be more upset about cancelled cycle than I realized as he just got us a Mastiff puppy! I have been wanting one for a while ( our great dane is elderly and the vet said a puppy would help to perk her up) We can take her home tomorrow. I cant wait! MY DH is acting like we are picking up a baby so while I think thats cute, I sure hope for a BFP next month! I hope you all had a great weekend, it sounds like everyone is super busy! I am still just waiting for AF - I know, how exciting

deftones - GL with the dreaded 2ww! sending you STICKY thoughts!

Wishful, I am so happy for you! After 4 cycles, you absolutely deserve this BFP! I am really thrilled for you!

AFM, I took another HPT this morning. BFN. I'm devastated. As my husband said, "the fat lady hasn't sung yet, but she's warming up!" I thought that was a pretty good analogy. I know it's not out of the realm of possibility, but I'm certainly prepared for the worst. I really don't know what is next. We really don't have any more money--would have to possibly borrow from family. We have three embryos left, but they've got to be the "worst" ones, right? I'm trying to wrap my head around just my one child, Jack. He's awesome, but never in a million years did I picture him as an only child. And I never believed that out of 10 embryos, only one would work. INFERTILITY SUCKS!

Carolyn - OMG CONGRATS ON YOUR POSITIVE HPT!!!! I am so excited for you. I know you have been on a long journey and it is about time you got a BFP.

SBR - Sorry about your negative HPT. Your hubby is correct the fat lady isn't singing yet. Lost of gals get a positive beta after a negative HPT. Though I know that it is so hard to hold out hope.

Michelle - What's new? How was your weekend away?

Rosario - Only one more week till your u/s, correct? I was thinking it was the 29th. Let me know if I am wrong. Regardless if it is one, two or three you have still been blessed with a BFP and at least one little bean that is sticking.

Good Luck to everyone!!! Sending tons of growing follie vibes, sticky dust and BFP vibes!!!

AFM - Start ganirelix on Friday, then stims on 6/30. Still fighting with insurance to see if my RE is covered and I have actual clearance for IVF I so haven't ordered my drugs yet. I do have a lot of drugs left over from previous cycles so I am not worrying too much yet.

Hope everyone has a good week.

Praying4BFP- Try EMLA cream. Ask your doctor/nurse to prescribe it for you. It's cheap about $20.00- what a difference it makes. I didn't really need it w/the Lupron but I surely needed/need it with the progestrone shots. I'de be freakin' if I didn't have it.

SBR- don't loose faith yet! Yes, infertility really really really SUCKS!! Luckily modern medicine has allowed us this wonderful opportunity.
Hang on!

Carolyn- I'm so excited 4 u!! Wow, PUPO!!!!!

Michelle- We all miss you terribly!!

katie99 - What a roller coaster we're on all these up's and downs and up's again. AF will be here before you know it. Patience dust to you! Hugs and Prayers!

deftonesmo - 3dt and 5dt both are about the same success rates just like the poll showed. Hand in there 2ww!!

cuppycake - Oh that's awful when people ask you if you feel any different. That's why I didn't tell anyone this time.

Michele - I see you're having a good time on vacation!

wickedwheel - Hope the ER goes well!

Sarah - It might be too early. Wait for the beta or keep POAS (if you can handle a negative). Some people are late implaters - just ask Michele. Hang in there! Hugs!!

wishfull27 - few more days to your beta!! Good Luck!

belle-02 - Good to see you are taking advantage of pampering yourself! keep POAS!

prayin4BFP - I give myself the PIO shots. I push the needle in slow. I know that sounds weird but that's what works for me. It's not so bad. My DH gets very queasy around any medical stuff - he acutally passes out. Aren't men amazing!!

Rosario - haven't heard from you in a while - how are you doing?

AFM - I have an u/s to check my lining tomorrow - make sure I'm prepped for implatation! Then my tranfer is next Tuesday! Yeah! I am getting so excited. I'm sure progesterone shots are right around the corner (that's not so exciting). Can't wait to be off Lupron! I ordered lots of pee sticks online Saturday!

Provera

Post by KJGrant »

EYCI- I don't think I am having any side effects from the Lupron, I am just super super grumpy, but I think that might because AF is arriving any minute. What sort of side effects did you have on lupron??

Nicksgam-Thats what I try to tell my husband about the injections but he still thinks I am crazy. It is very helpful that I have this message board and can tell him that other women have the same feelings about this process and that helps so thanks and congrats about your BFP!!

I have a question for all, I started 10 days prescript of Provera on 6/10 and finished it on 6/19, it is the first time I took it and the nurse said I would get AF after 3-10 days of taking it and I haven't started yet. Does any one have experience with the provera and how long did it take for your AF to visit???

KJGrant - My RE's office told me I would get AF 3-10 days after I was completely done taking Provera. I think I got AF exactly 10 days after I stopped taking it.

KJGrant - I am with you, I took my last dosage of Provera yesterday but have had signs of AF for a few days. Usually I spot for a couple of days so I figured I would have full flow today but not so much. Give it a couple more days and I am sure she will be visiting.
