Thanks everyone! Michele - I teared up a little seeing my name on the BFP list!

About our identical cycle twin-ism - I think I can explain why our betas were two points off. Even though we had our transfers at the exact same time (even considering time zone difference), we didn't have our betas at the same time, since mine was 8am Eastern Time, and I'm betting Dogz didn't have hers until at least a couple hours later, which is why she's two points higher!

But yes, this is totally bizarre.

I am so excited right now!! I can't even contain myself. :D :D :D :D

Beth & Dogz: Congrats to you two wonderful ladies!!! I am so happy for you both. You are both PUPO and don't you forget it! This is such wonderful news. I know nothing about beta #s but I've heard and read about the whole doubling thing. I hope your #'s double ladies! Relax and enjoy the feeling. I know, easier said than done.

AFM, I'ved had a not so great afternoon. My lunch made me violently ill. I had to leave work. I'm feeling less naseaus right now, but still not well. On a lighter note, the pharmacy called to confirm my order of meds. YAY. I'm curious to see how much it's going to be. I still have some meds left from last time so it should be a little less this time. I wish.

Anyway, I'm babbled on enough. Congrats again ladies!!!!

beth - I KNOW this is unreal!!! I don't know how to feel. Look at Michele - a lower number and a baby! My BF who did this 5 years ago had a BETA at 121 and it ended up not progressing, so there you have it.

miyaya - I am SO glad to see your post about your success with a low beta!!! I got to tell you ladies, I think mine might well be due to a late implantation. I had one light spotting episode Monday morning followed by crazy pinching-like cramps Monday night that are continuing as we speak. And I started getting some dizzy spells yesterday and just had one as I was typing right here. Here's to doubling!!!! Go bethie my twin!!!! (((hugs)))

starwishes- you slipped right by me, I added you to the bfp list...thanks penny for pointing that out, sometimes it is hard to keep up with everyone, which is why I always say just shout me out and tell me, I never take offense, it helps me out to keep everyone straight.

I just want to say something about "doubling" since that word keeps coming up. It is a myth that you double every 2 days, it can actually take anywhere from 48-72 hours to double, so you would be looking for atleast a 60% increase on friday. So, for example, one of you had a beta of 29, you would want that number to be at least a 46 on friday, but don't freak out if it does not double...it is completely normal.

Now that beta's are happening, let me post my favorite website for hcg tracking.

http://babymed.com/Tools/pregnancy/hcg/

this website explains about the doubling times and it has a calculator. You need a second beta to use the calculator, but if it is before your second beta, just make up a number so you can see where you fall on the chart for normal hcg ranges. I put your numbers in beth and dogz, and yes, you are within normal values.

here is another site with a chart of ranges:

Michele - if you were here, I would kiss you. That information is so encouraging. I think I've finally frayed all my nerves and am calming down - or I've just worn myself out.

Thanks for the info Michelle!! That second website is awesome. Now I know what my FSH and E2 should look like as I go along. My last cycle was so nerve racking because all I ever did was call and listen to a message with my results and instructions. Now I'll know what the numbers mean and know what to look for. I was so sad when my last cycle got canceled. But that's because I didn't know what the numbers meant. If I had known I don't think I would have been as shocked.

Knowledge is Power ladies. lol

Which brings me to a question. I'm a techinically cycling now that I started my BPC or when I start my Lupron or when I start stims? I'm a little confused.

Johannanita- That is a good question about when you are technically cycling. I think everything leading up to the ER is all part of cycling, but I think most people think the actual cycle is stimming. That's when you are really doing something other than preppeing your body for what is about to happen. Even my RE will talk about getting ready for the august cycle, or september cycle...and when he says that, he is referring to stimming and ER. Look at it this way, a cycle is considered cancelled if you stop before ER, so I guess that is the goal of a cycle, to get to ER right? Just my opinion.

Congrats beth and dogz!!! I am so happy for you and wish you big hcg bumps for your little bumps-to-be by Friday! Way to keep the positive BFP energy going here!

Cheeky, I think you and I are up next. A great run for the group, but I am feeling some pressure to carry on the BFPs!

My beta is Sun (8/2) (12days post 3 day transfer, not sure of the abbreviations here??) and I am honestly petrified to POAS because I don't want to see a false result (either way). DH is asking me if I am feeling PUPO, but honestly, I'm trying to ignore everything since I'm not feeling too much physically. PMA for 5 more days!

Anyhoo, wishing all of you in the pre and poke-y phases much luck. It seems like it takes forever, but it will go fast and then you will be WAITING again!

Dogz- I'll probably get the blood drawn around 8am, the lab is on my way to the office. Then my doctor calls me sometime in the afternoon with the results.

Thanks, Amanda - I have my fingers crossed for your beta on Sunday!

beth - I read a VERY interesting article that found many betas were lower with a 5-day transfer vs a 3-day. This particular study found that the average beta taken 16 days past retrieval was 50. You and I are only 14 days past, so that's some more good news! I know it's only one study, but still! And after Michele's and miyaya's stories, I am feeling much more positive.
