Went for blood wk and ultrasound today- all is good and start stimming tomorrow!! count was 10 on right side and 14 on left side-- sounds like lots of possibilities!

Franny: OMG I had the exact same dream last night! I was so upset that the RE called with a negative beta. I had to think back and remenber that they haven't drawn the lab yet. Maybe that means we have already gotten our BFN out of the way and when it is done for real we will have BFP!

Tiger Sorry to hear about your HPT.

Lou: Stupid USPS. The never really update the tracking until it is delivered. I am glad all went well at the RE, except the BP. Take a few deep breaths sweetie. Great AFC.


ASF: Interesting day yesterday. I have been out of work for a while. I have been in contact with someone I used to work with years ago and had him keep his eye out for something for me. Not much luck recently with the economy, hiring freezes, etc. I got an email Monday evening asking me if I could meet him yesterday afternoon. There is a possiblity of something, but it would be a little over an hour commute. Still lots of details to workout. Likely something partime (on my behalf, I would rather not drive that everday and I need to be flexible for appts). Anyway, talk about timing. It will be a probably be least a month before anything is finalized and likely 2 before I start. And if I get a BFP, not sure if I want to start a job and the stress that goes along with it. Lots to think about. I suppose it gives me something to think about besides POAS.

Lou- Looks like you're getting started. 20 antral follicles! Wow...that's alot! I think my RE would pass out if I had that many. I'm sure that your meds are on their way. Wonder what's taking so long?

Franny- Stay out of crazytown! I'm there...it's no fun. Can't you tell by my rant about my RE yesterday? Remember that it's only a dream. You have 2 perfect embies inside. I'm sure that your DH understands. He's on this ride with you. Everything is going to be okay. I'm sure of it. This is your time.

Tiger- Sorry about your BFN. At least you have a good positive attitude. How are you feeling? Are you on prometrium or anything? Did you call your RE and what did he say? Any plans?

Amanda- Thinking of you today and hope that everything goes well with your ET!

AFM- I apologize about the rant about my RE yesterday. I had a bad day. I got another bfn and yesterday was my Dad's birthday. He passed away a year ago and it was a hard day for me. I do like my RE, the message just hit me wrong, that's for sure. I will call him today and see what he says. I've also decided to have a consultation with a couple of others. I'm making appointments today. There's no harm in looking. Maybe a new guy would try something completely different and I could get more eggs. So....no test today. I am waiting for AF. Not sure when she will be here. I went to pick up my daughter late last night at LAX. Glad she's home. She will keep me busy.

Karin~ No need to apologize for the rant. Everyone going through IVF has bad days and never mind adding "real life" to teh mix. I say real life b/c sometimes I feel like I am living a parallel life to others not going through IVF. Also, so sorry to hear about the anniversary of your dad's death. So sad. Hang in there. I understand being on the fence about changing providers. On one hand you feel like they know you and are vested but when you do not get the results you want, you start to question things....would someone else do better? Woudl I be starting all over again? The best you can do is meet with a few and make your decision with a full deck of info. Go with your gut! Good luck.

So quick rant....well I never got my results from monitoring yesterday. The satellite office had issues with the equipment so...they have me stimming for 2 more days and monitor tomorrow....well, at 2:30 today I still had not got my call as to what time my SNS is....so I called. They informed me they faxed the order back to my clinic at 7:30 AM b/c they do not have anyone to do my ultrasound tomorrow. I still have not heard from my clinic....I am so annoyed. I do not only not have results, but I have no idea where and when I need to be someplace tomorrow. So aggrevating considering I have to drive 2 hours to get monitored. Love living in the sticks! NOT!!!!!

franny you poor divil dont worry i still get those damn bfn dreams had one the other night and i remember i kept insisting that i was pg but they kept saying no i woke up in a sweat!!! I think i am constantly in crazy town , as for them pains i had them in All my cycles from about day 2 onwards oh the dreaded 2ww really lives up to its name!!

Hooray! My meds came today!!!!!

AND ----- I got instructions from my clinic to start stims on Saturday with 450 units Follistim and 75 of Menopur. I go in on Tues for a SnS. I really hope at least half of my antrals take off this time!

Ronda -- How nice to see you! Feel free to come by and crash or stalk all you want! What is next for you? Are you planning to cycle again?

Miyaya -- Wow! Those are great numbers. You are definitely cookin and should get a great crop of eggs.

Karin -- Yes, I am excited about having 20 antrals to start with but historically I end up with about 4 lead follicles and the rest are growing but lag behind. We shall see how this goes.

Fitzjr -- Yes, we are definitely close in our cycles. Sounds like you have a great antral count as well. Good luck with your stims!

We had a nice surprise today. We had a total of 4 follicles We decided to put them all in! One was a grade A, 2nd was a grade B, and the other two grade Cs. the last 2 are struggling so we thought what the heck lets go for all or nothing..LOL I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
Franny- I am now officially in the 2ww with you.

Hi everyone!!! Ok so I officially went to the doctor yesterday and had my baseline bw & us. They said I have 10 total follies..so does that mean they will try to wake those ten up? When I start stims? I started my estrogen and had some spotting today...anyone know if thats normal?? I should start stime by 29/30 and ER august 11/12..so I started a new job and its tough to keep up on this website..I need a update!

Franny-so glad your keeping busy! Havent seen any movies lately and I have free movie passes...need to make a night for it maybe during my 2ww.

Someone mentioned about being upset with there RE about getting back to them in a few weeks and I must say I went thru a similar situation last IVF. I got my BFN and they called to tell me and said so you will hear from us in a few weeks when the group meets to discuss your protocol! I was upset and pissed off! I wanted to know why I responded so poorly what they thought and what they were gonna do ASAP to make me feel better...so I came online and you ladies made me feel better. Just reading your stories and knowing that miracles do happen!! So I was able to calm down and when I spoke to my RE my head was cleared and not so emotional that I could ask the proper questions and get the answers I needed. So I hope your doing well and know were all here for you!!

Sorry that I am short on personals right now...

...but I am in serious panic mode right now...and feel like crying. I have insurance coverage for fertility meds and yet they are saying that I dont. My plan rep is on the case and I have literally been on the phone for 3 days straight with everyone and their brother too. I just dont know what is going to happen. I mean what the heck? It was covered many other times...including the progesterone that we were using for the last 2 months while trying naturally (we had to wait due to my miscarriage) and for the FET in April?! I kid you not...3 days now...I have been fighting this. I am supposed to start my lupron on Friday and follistim on Saturday. If I get this straightened out by tomorrow...they can ship it overnight...but they are still saying that they dont think the follistim is covered even if the rest ends up being covered. We just cant afford the meds out of pocket. I feel like all of my hopes and dreams are just slipping through my fingers. Anyhow, if you have any prayers to spare, I could sure use them right now. Thanks for letting me vent.
