Anton - I am glad that you and your DH have such a great relationship. Its exciting that he is talking about IVF and your options. I know in my situation, it took my DH a long time to get his head wrapped around DE. In the end we had to think of what we really wanted in life. I didn't want to be sitting around when we are 50yrs old with no children say "what if". This is why we went the DE route. People put a lot of worth into genetics but for me I couldn't care less if my baby had my genetics or not. It was the best decision we have every made. Even if the DE route didn't work, at least in my heart i could fully say that we tried and it just didn't happen. I don't think we would ever go to adoption, the cost is too great, waits are too long, they need so much information and in the end someone can still take the baby away. That's just my opinion though. My cousin did adoption and she didn't have any issues at all and only waited about 9 mo for a baby.

Good Luck on getting the new job.

I felt some slight cramps last night but the fluey symptoms have been gone for a few days and today I feel just normal/fine. im probably making too much of this but I just cant help worrying... it's like I think I should be feeling something every few hours which I guess is not realistic :)

Girl, I felt the EXACT same way. I was so convinced I was no longer pregnant, our maybe they kept getting Mt blood mixed up with someone else with rising betas lmao! I just knew there would be nothing on the screen at the ultrasound. Well there was, and there still is, but I definitely go through anxiety everytime.

Cyn22, thanks for the beta 3 integrin information. I didn't recall that you have endo. My apologies if you had mentioned that in the past. My endo is/was severely invasive. I should post some of my surgery pics here. My friend mentioned something about this recently at our endo group meeting. She is in the 2ww now. She did a long lupron protocol prior to the ivf to help. Should know if it worked soon. My problem is that I can't have lupron because of my multiple sclerosis. Grrr.

Patricia, will def send you loving and comforting thoughts tomorrow. Hugs to you and dh.

Hopethisworks, try to distract yourself! I know it's hard to wait and easy to over analyze every sensation or lack thereof.

AFM, I forgot to mention that AF started yesterday. That didn't make for a happy runner. It was inconvenient but luckily the running helped the cramps stay minimal. I'm noticing that this cycle and last cycle have been pretty light. These are my cycles post early m/c. Wonder if that has to do with it?

Julia, my race time was ok. The average is around 2-2:30 hrs. I am happy with mine considering I'm overweight and have MS, endometriosis, among other things. Elites can do it in just over 1 hour. Average full marathon times are around 4:30 hrs with elites finishing in 2-2:30 hrs. I wasn't last! There were still over 400 people behind me for the half.

AFM, soooo tired today. I totally unmotivated at work and am very much on the countdown for summer break. It's teacher appreciation week. We got goodies in our mailboxes today. I got a bookmark that says, " you can't scare me, I teach middle school "! Love it!

Leora- Tomorrow is the big day and it's coming quick for us in this time zone! :) It's almost 10:40pm here at least, may be different for you. Good luck!! So excited for you and your DH!

Christy- Sorry things are being hard on your DH. So glad he listened to you and just went home. You are a wonderful wife as he is a husband and can't wait to "see" ya'll as parents!! It WILL happen!!

Maria- Glad things are progressing well for you in your pregnancy. I can't believe how long it has been already! Glad they figured out what was going on and able to help. Hope everyone is doing well.

Amanda and Lauren- Glad your transfers went well and congrats on being PUPO! Can't wait to see some BFP's!

Blue- That's awesome! I've always wanted to run, just maybe I will start venturing away from the treadmill!

Julia- Hope things start looking up and you can start relaxing. Hang in there!

Anton- Lots of great things going on! Love it! So glad your DH has come back around about IVF. That is GREAT!! You two are going to make wonderful parents as well!! Your Brother is awesome! Sounds like an awesome getaway! I'm sorry your DH can't go but that's great your BF can. I know you will both have a wonderful time. Awesome news on the possible job! I know you'll get it! Everything will just start falling into place after that.

Anna- Sounds like a great trip...well awesome actually! :) My son wants to go to DC one day, he LOVES history. Hopefully not long after we are back in the states we can visit. Congrats on the nephew! :)

AFM- Thank you ALL for your get well wishes for me and my son. DH has taken care of us wonderfully and glad he didn't work all week or this weekend. He was on call over the weekend (does that often) but it's just to know when flights are coming/going for those that travel and inspect countries. My son has had nose bleeds for about 6/7 yrs. Today we saw the ENT and he cauterized a couple of places in each nostril. He sprayed some numbing spray in each a couple of times before doing it and it didn't hurt. Much different than how my Dad got his done, thankfully. So here's hoping no more bleeding for a few years....if ever again!! :)

His cold is about over, just that awful nagging cough that doesn't like going away after a cold. He went to school (missed a week, but it happens) after we had lunch out and it wore him out just going to 3 classes. So we tucked him in 30 mins earlier than usual.

I still have a horrible cold. Fever is up and down all the time. Eating and drinking okay at least. I've thrown up some but it's because of the coughing. Dh works two night shifts back to back, Wed/Thurs so he is making me go to the ER tomorrow if I'm not better since he can't be home to help...At least he goes in at 7pm so here most of the day for those days. I'm feeling good right now after my fever broke for the 12th time or so, but it will hit me later I'm sure. Getting ready to take some sleepy medications and go to bed. Had a short nap this afternoon since I got maybe an hr last night.

I know some of you have been sick as well and hope you are doing better. This stuff isn't any fun at all!! I just hope DH doesn't get it and I don't think he will. He's been wonderful though! :)

I had zero symptoms with DS. If my belly didn't POP at 5 1/2 MONTHS along, I wouldn't have known I was even pregnant. Yep...had NO idea I was. We were shocked! I'm sure when it happens again I'll have M/S 100% lol.

Gina - oh, please feel better. what a horrible week this has been for you.

Ninde - oof. I'm sorry about tomorrow, hun. Hang in there.

Amanda - I'm a fucking whale.

Anton - I'm so excited for you! I know you haven't figured out quite where your path is going, but the simple fact that you and DH can have an open conversation is amazing and it's incredible that he's back on board. And, once again, you're so busy!! good luck with the job, honey.

Julia - we've been looking for a house too and it's way too stressful. Good luck with this one!!

AFM - Still PUPO. I don't know what to think/do. I'm going a little crazy here, girls. I keep asking DH if he thinks they're still in there. Has anyone ever done HCG booster shots? I did 20 units on transfer day and another 20 two days later (last night). I think it's build even MORE progesterone. Like the shots AND suppositories aren't enough? I have no idea. Anyone? How long will it take to get this out of my stem so I can POAS?

HopeThisWorksM - why did your u/s get moved to Friday? Just scheduling things? Sucks that you have to wait another day, but pregnancy is all about waiting! You'll be waiting until that little one is born in December!

Maria - anemia sucks, especially in pregnancy. Twin pregnancies are such a drain on the body. My doctor told me that if you aren't getting enough vitamins/minerals in your diet, the babies will actually take it out of your body. Make sure to take calcium, because other wise the little parasites will just suck it out of your bones! I'm so glad you are past the halfway point. Yay!

Chris - that is a stupid system. Let the women with shorter, less-complicated ERs go first! I've heard good things about this clinic and that they run really on time. In any case, one of the biggest malls in the country is across the street (we'll actually park there because the hospital doesn't have enough parking!) so I don't mind if we run late -- we can always go and shop!

Anna - a due date is just a suggestion :D I'm hoping to make it to at least 30 weeks, but if I go full term, I know that with a previous preemie C-section and a cerclage they probably won't let me past 36-38 weeks - so my due date is really just a suggestion!I just really hope they let me do VBAC! I hated C-section recovery!
Congrats on the new nephew and glad you had fun on your trip. Washington DC is a great place to visit!

Lauren - I have heard of HCG boosters, but I've never taken them. No idea when you can POAS. Maybe just wait for the blood test? But then again, I've never been able to do that!

Nicole - congrats on such a great race! I can barely walk 2km on the treadmill in 30min, so I'm impressed you did half a marathon at all - let alone in just over 3 hours! Congrats!

Julia - so glad the spotting stopped - and did you get the new house? We have a 2br apartment, and with the twins, we had planned to move to 3br, but for now, the 2br is enough! :D

Antonia - I always live vicariously through other people when I'm waiting to cycle, so I hear ya on being anxious with me about my cycle. Hopefully I'll have good news to share! So glad that your DH is open to talking about it again. My DH is totally against us doing this cycle, and he wants to take a 6 month or longer break. It's causing a lot of tension, becuase if this fails, I want to start again as soon as possible. I can't imagine taking a break, especially such a long one. We are doing LOTS of counseling sessions!
Is donor egg a possibility where you live? I know here in Israel it's near impossible (which is why I want to donate eggs when I'm done doing this -- I now know how hard it is for women who need donor eggs, and I want to help. Egg donors can't be paid at all here, so there aren't very many volunteers!)
Malta sounds AMAZING! Enjoy!
I hope the job thing comes through!

Amanda - yay on being PUPO! I really hope this is IT for both you and me! As fr heavy lifting at work, the purchasing manager will be away next week and I'm kinda in charge of his duties. But I said that if anything heavy (and by heavy, I mean more than a piece of paper  ) comes in, SOMEONE ELSE has to move it!

Patricia - I'm thinking of you today. Due dates suck when you don't have the baby to hold. <big big hugs>

Cyn - AF never comes when you need her! Ugh!

Gina - I think I'm one hour ahead of you (you're in Germany, right? But do you do daylight's savings time or whatever?) FEEL BETTER! Nothing like a cold to make you feel like you are going to die, huh?

AFM - heading off to ER soon! (it's noon - so about 4 more hours) I'm getting anxious! Luckily, I have a lot planned for the next 5 days, so I won't obsess about my embryos (hopefully!)

I'll let you know how many we got when I get home again!

hmmm.... I'm seeing a huge advantage in a 'first thing in the morning' ER --- I was told not to eat after 10am, but since I had trouble sleeping last night (didn't fall asleep until 4am) and wasn't working today, I slept until 11am, so no breakfast. I'm HUNGRY!

We'll be getting dinner ASAP after my ER!

Leora-praying that your ER is very successful today. I'll be anxiously waiting for your report.

AFM-finally received my prescription iron tablets. The
mailman had left the box at the wring house. Thank God he was able to locate the box and deliver it to my house yesterday. I started taking it last night. I'm suppose to take it twice daily in addition to my regular prenatal vitamins. Hopefuly I'll start to feel better soon. Next u/s is Thursday. DH will be going with me this time. I'm excited about seeing the girls again and seeing how much they have grown. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
