So sorry I have been MIA , bloody laptop went funny on thursday and had to take it in to be fixed, only got it back this afternoon. Modern technology! what a pain in the arse! Anyway where do I start??











Carolyn- How are you doing babe? Hope that the headaches and tiredness havent got any worse(did you increase the bc pills after the spotting?) Only two days of bc pills left I see! I'll start jigging for af to come on time for you so that you can start those patches asap. Hope you enjoyed the barmitsvah.Take care hun, hope you're not going to be working too hard this week. xxx

Kelly- How's the dreaded 2ww going? Glad you are managing to keep busy, see that you are now in the 2nd week, hope it goes quickly for you. I have everything crossed for you and sending lots of sticky baby dust your way xxx

Jen1- Hope you are feeling a little better and stronger. Glad you are starting to look ahead at another fet tmt. Sounds like work has been a bit tough over the last week but Im sure that its better for you than sitting at home in your pj's, even though that sounds a much better idea!
Know tmt seems a long way off but it will be here before you know it and having the hysteroscopy will mean that you have done everything you can to get that bfp, which you will get! xxx

As for me appart from this bloody laptop driving me potty, we have been busy re decorating the conservatory, plus I've made 2 christmas cakes! so I'e been trying to keep myself busy too.

Congrats JenB!!! That's great they could get you in so quickly! I had a donor cancel on me and I know how stressful/draining/annoying it can be. Best of luck!!

So my donor has been in for ultrasounds the past 3 days and things are looking great! She has 11 follicles over 12mm and she's going back in tomorrow. Looks like she could trigger tomorrow so that could mean a Saturday transfer. The clinic sounds really positive and are excited by her progress.

If no one has tried accupuncture, I cannot recommend it enough. It took about 10 minutes to get into it but once I did I was in a super deep trance and it was sooo amazingly relaxing. Can't wait to go back for pre and post transfer treatments!!

Carolyn, hope you had a good time at the party! Hi to everyone else! Hope everyone has a good week!!

Great news about your donor, her follies sound fantastic! Hope you get your sat transfer. I had acu for the first time in Barcelona after our last tmt. I had it before and after et, I agree it was fantastic I felt so relaxed, it was worth every penny. Cant wait to hear all the news about how many eggs/embies you get etc

Well today was awful. Had first aid training and the teacher asked if the girl she was about to use as a model was pregnant, she said no but another woman said she was. She looked over 40 and when she announced it, it floored me. I felt myself getting emotional and after she wittered on for a few minutes about it, i went out to the toilet and sobbed for the unfairness, this shit life has handed to me. Yep, it was all me, me, me and i felt shit. I then didnt want to look at her and just got on with the class but at lunch time the teacher started chatting to her about how many weeks she was and maternity leave etc so i walked out of the canteen. Then later at the next break, i overheard her telling another girls that she was 13 weeks and was having problems as she just wanted to smoke and couldnt give up------selfish ***** nearly got an earful so i left the room yet again and my colleague noticed i was a bit annoyed. I had a chat with her but calmed down for the rest of the day. However as soon as i saw dh, i sobbed.

I just want to give him a baby and hate how ivf is making me feel. I am so scared i will have to go through life feeling so unhappy and miserable if this never works and the odds aren't looking to good.

Sorry to bring the mood down but i cant help feeling so sad even though i am trying to get on with things and putting on a face. Everone is now 'back to normal' with me but that even makes me annoyed as its as if they think it over until the next cycle.

still doesn't feel real that i am actually PUPO!!!!

but i am gonna look after myself, and DH has warned me no housework or lifting even walking the dog cos i have to rest.

To be honest i am actually totally shattered since we had ET...like all the relief of finally getting there came to the fore and i could relax...so have slept most of saturday after ET then went a looking around barcelona Sunday. Looking through the the shops and things at the waterfront while sitting in the sun most of the afternoon in a lovely cafe. Carolyn you will love staying near there it is such a fab place the waterfront. x x Dh wnt to the maratme mueseum and i sat in the sun in alovely cafe watching the sail boats and catamerrans go buy. We flew back yesterday and had a 4 hr drive home...so had a early night.

The next few days i will be quiet on the boards as i only have wi fi at home and don't like using it around implantation time...
so really no personals as i will post longer later in the week. x x

Sorry for my long absence, things have been crazy, my best friend who had a really difficult birth has been battling postnatal depression and unfortunately was admitted to hospital last week, after suffering a complete breakdown. I’ve been helping her with her two little boys but unfortunately she just got worse, its been hard to watch her slowly just fall apart as she has been my rock through my IVF journey. My visit with Trew was fine, I just completed my trail which has gone well had lining of 10.2mm just waiting results of progesterone blood test which I will get tomorrow and all being well I just have to wait for a donor. Unfortunately IVI informed my it will be Jan/feb before I get donor which left me feeling a bit down as was hoping my BFP would be my Christmas present, but hey at least I can have a glass or two of wine over Christmas. Spermies travelled to Spain yesterday so I will check with IVI tomorrow that they arrived safely.

Jen1d, I know how sad you feel and my hear goes out to you. I'm sure each day is better than the last so just hang in there and know that we're all here for you!

My donor is actually taking her trigger shot tonight for a retrieval on Thursday. The nurse said she had a folicle count in the mid-20s! We'll see how many they actually get, but I'm feeling pretty good about it. It sounds like the actual transfer date will be Sunday or Tuesday. I'm hoping for Sunday so I can just relax and not have to think about work. Tuesday is noo good since I have class that night. Keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday!!
