OK - I know I have missed a bunch!! SONU CONGRATS!!!! SO happy for you hun!! Whoo-hoo!!!

Hello to all - I have been so swamped and just plain worn out - that I have had to adjust some of my schedule - sorry girls if it is nap or online- the eyes closing on me force me to choose a nap!!

Nic: I read a bit about the lining ordeal you have been in - so praying this is it for you!!! April 18th will be here before you know it!!!

Hope: Sorry about your m/s!! WHen I complained a bit about mine online ppl kept saying oh but at least u r pg - and then I was like yeah when I complain that should not mean I am not happy about being pg - I just want to feel like I wont puke every second. Ok sorry that lil rant to say I am praying for you. I had it bad for 2 weeks and then it went away - of course then came my low appetite problem... Oh pains - dont worry I got those right around the time you did - the uterus stretching - one night they were so painful! But my doc had said no blood no worry - so I just got through it and went back to sleep.

Indie: I need to work through all the posts to figure out where you are at in the cycle.

ok girlies that was a quick one. Sorry :( I will try to get on tomorrow and do a proper catch up.

MP
Any other big news??? I am doing well - besides walking around like a zombie!!

Good morning all :) Well, I'm still waiting on AF this month (probably around the 25th) and then I can start BCP's. I have to at some point between here and there schedule that psychologist appointment....we're trying to find one locally and waiting on my nurse to call me back Tuesday approving that. If not, we'll have to drive to one of their psychologist 2 hours away and do the 2 hour visit there :( My nurse told me that since I'm waiting till the end of all the pretesting to do the visit with the psy though, that she didn't need to know about the visit...just that I made the appointment and we could move forward. Again, seems pointless....but what can ya do LOL

On the other board, there are a group of us that are all in the same study. It's funny how different RE's are pricing it out differently and doing different test...etc. None of the other ladies had to do a Psy visit though!!! And it seems that since it's a progesterone study that they will not be monitoring the progesterone throughout the 2ww or after.....which is kind of irritating. It says on our schedule that they will be doing B/W throughout that time, but 2 of the ladies that have already had ER/ET said that the nurses told them they would not monitor those levels! This is Phase III of the study though...so maybe they are aware of those levels in women and it's not critical? Seems critical though....now I'm praying that I get the gel, since it's been on the market for a while and they know it can sustain a pregnancy.

Oh well, it's all in God's hands.

Glad to see you back Mia :) Get plenty of rest.....and hopefully your appetite will come back soon.

Congratulations!

Nicaliw, keep up the PMA, thinking of you.

Hi everyone, thanks for asking about mock transfer, I thought I posted about it earlier, but now I can't remember. Everything went well. I took a valium (Never took one of those before) and it helped me to relax. Re wants to do another mock transfer next week to "practice." Interesting, huh?

To practice....huh??? LOL, it's not a baseball game!!!

Wonder why the practice, did they say it was a weird angle or something? I'm so glad I don't have to do that again. I'm such a wimp and it really hurt LOL It was like the worst menstrual cramps I've ever had...and it was a constant, so it lasted well after the exam was over...which I guess was just the uterus shrinking back.

Anyhow...glad it went well, sorry they have to practice though :(

Indie,
Practice is good, it makes perfect. And I am glad that my new RE is taking it seriously. I do have a complicated anatomy and it has made iui's and transfers very difficult. I've always had anesthesia for transfers and even a "stitch" sewn in to my uterus to pull it into alignment during transfers. So New RE wants to do away with all that and if it means practicing to make the transfer go smoothly for me, I'm all for it. He wants me wide awake and no stitch. (He thinks it causes contractions) He also did the hysteroscopy to get a good look inside. I have an angle that interferes with uterus. But he worked it like a charm. -chriss

Well that definitely explains the practice LOL I didn't realize you had all the previous issues....that makes more sense that he'd want to do that then :) Good luck!!!

Indie, Thanks.
Have you thought any more about the travel? Not sure if I will "commute" each day or try to stay someplace closer.

Chriss: I am so happy you are liking the new RE. That is great that he wants another practice! PERFECT!! I have read about the stitch and all and glad you will be able to do without it this time.

Indie: Yeah the studies can be a bit nerve racking. But glad you are on your way to get things started. Will your ins covver the psyc eval?? Can you find a Christian psych in your area? That might make you feel a bit better about it. Though I know there are not too many Christian psychs.

Well, I went to a Christian Psychologist when I donated eggs and he was very friendly and just down right nice. I really didn't feel 'evaluated' at all after that visit LOL and so I'm trying to see if I can get approved for him....locally. I'll have to wait till Tuesday to see how they approve out of area psychologist though, almost praying that she just calls back and says that they'll forgo that though LOL Wouldn't that be nice.

And no my insurance doesn't cover any sort of counseling/therapy. So it's 300-400 more :( Again...praying that since I've been evaluated before that she'll think about it after hearing my message and just call back with some news to forget that part.

Chriss: As far as the traveling...not sure. With the study I actually have a lot more trips to make, so I may be commuting. Although, gas just went to 3.25 a gallon here....so that might change my tune if it continues to go up this month and next month. With the study I have to make all the 'regular' visits plus go back the day after ER for my progesterone. Then I'll go back 2 weeks later, like most IVF patients so that'll be a nice break. But then I have to go back pretty much weekly if I'm pregnant.....still once a week is doable, especially since our last day of school is April 25th :) so much easier to schedule.

Really, staying at a nice hotel would probably be less stressful for me though...who knows LOL

Wrote a nice long post yesterday when my computer went dead. Of course I lost the whole thing. I will try to recompose it later today. However, I come to you guys as Christians and ask that you please keep one of my students in your prayers.
Her mother called me last night to say that her husband had been killed that morning. The story was on the news, that this man was shot and killed. They do not know where the shooting took place or who did it. This is such a tragedy for this family...for any family.
So, if you guys would please keep this family in your prayers. Also, please keep me in your prayers that God would speak through me so that I say and do the right things.
