Hi everyone,

Margi - congrats, at least one healthy baby!

Baby_blu - Great pictures of your twins!

For all the rest thanks so much for the many replies, I concluded I'll ask our OB on Monday if I can continue for a while longer with the ever so lovely progesterone suppositories.

I am worried. DH is abroad and I haven't told him anything yet, I am week 7 and 3 days today and just had a small (less than a pea size) darkish red tissue when I went to the loo. I am otherwise not bleeding, neither do I experience any cramping or pain. But it was 100% not a progesterone blob (TMI) and it WAS red after all. The only "symptom" I was very nervous yesterday, even picked up a fight with DH over the phone  Also, I continue to not really have any pg symptoms. Can any body tell me what to think of it (the small clot or tissue)? We are going to have a scan Monday evening and I would rather wait until then unless you ladies think I'm taking this too lightly.

Blessings to all,
K

It is common in early pregnancy (especially IVF pregnancies) to have some bleeding. I wouldn't panic about especially since you have no cramping or pain. I would go in for an early scan though, just to ease your mind because a lot of worry might go on between now and Monday.

Sorry girls but have to crash your thread

Chris - I know this was a looong wait for your u/s - but its finally here! I'm wishing you patience dust til the afternoon when you see that little bean!! Is it the afternoon yet??? ugh, lol. You deserve to be able to relax able enjoy every moment of being pregnant, but, ummm, dont quote me back on that when you're 8-9 months along and super uncomfy all the time, ok? haha. I cannot wait to hear that HB rate! so now you're going to stalk me??? hee hee I love it! I've been resisting joining Michele's cycling thread since theres been a tiny delay in paperwork, but no biggie. I'm just thrilled for the opportunity to try again, so its all good. Hopefully I'll start suppression late April or May and FETs go much easier so, soon you can stalk me all you want. Oh, and I was crampy for almost the entire 1st trimester so dont stress, ok? - lol. much love - xoxoxo

Lou - Awww, honey your video was sooo sweet! Congrats for graduating to your OB! And the names you're considering are beautiful! Wheeeee! I'm trying to stalk you all, but dont get alot of free time anymore, you'll see what I mean in say 6+ months!!! yippeeee! - xoxoxo

Karen - How are you 22 weeks already? Wow, that went fast! I adore the name you've chosen, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl! - xoxo

Good Luck to everyone!!

Happy - you look soooo cute!

Waiting - you should be fine, try not to stress - yeah easier said - and your scan will be perfect!

Chris - good luck and can't wait to hear the good news!

Lou - great video!

babyblu - my one hour test came back at 142 and they just put me on a GD diet right away. You might want to ask to go on a GD like diet because if you are borderline there are some complications that can come with not watching your sugar levels, things you can easy control with a good diet. I have more serious GD and am on insulin now.

Margi - mine are still swollen at my last 18 week appt, they even asked if I did IVF it was so obvious they were large and I still have cysts!!! Just make sure OB takes a look at them on your US

Mellow - I am praying so hard for your little girl, I am impressed at how strong you are, my girl has an offset chord too so now I am freaking out and praying all is well on Friday when I go see OB.

crap. I had another bleed today. Not nearly as heavy as last time - and again it stopped in a few hours. But I'm really worried because I had really bad cramps. :(

I called my high risk OB's office. They said to come in tomorrow at 10am.

I'm considering dropping by the IVF clinic first thing in the morning to see if they can give me a quick u/s. I'm technically not a patient there currently, but maybe they will do it because of my history. DH is really pushing for that....

Rio, try not to worry about it. My little girls isn't at all where it's supposed to be, it's actually not on the placenta. If they didn't tell you that, then I would worry at all. Ours is next to the placenta, and the veins run into it from the side. We are praying she stays strong, and continues to grow...we need to make it 13 more weeks. Her heart is strong, so we are praying hard that she will be okay. Let me know what they say about yours.

Leora, Ugh! Those stupid bleeds are scary. It doesn't matter when or where or how heavy they are, they just are scary. Praying that all is well...I would try to get an ultrasound anywhere you can. It's for your peace of mind. Hang in there, we are pulling for you and your little ones.

Oh crud! I would definitely see what the clinic will do for you. You are not too far along so seeing you shouldn't be a big deal for them - it would be worth asking. Hopefully, it's just another bleed like before and has gone away on it's own. I'll be thinking of you.

Leora - I'm sorry you have to go through this again. More than one bleed is normal with SCH. Have you been keeping yourself ridiculously hydrated? LOTS of water helps with the cramping. If it gives you any peace of mind, I had horrible cramps with my second bleed. It scared me so bad. They were like really bad period cramps. I stayed in bed and drank water for a couple days. Lots of prayers and positive thoughts coming your way honey.

Rio and Karen - thank you for the advise. I thought I had read about some of the blood work tests and NT test. He did say something about the blood work not being very accurate with twins??? Have you heard this before and could that be why he didn't talk about NT? I will have to call the office tomorrow and ask. I am not really in favor of amnio or CVS unless I know there is a better reason for them and even then - what am I going to do? I have worked to hard to get pregnant to do anything. Thanks again for your comments.

Waiting Kay - I never had a clot but I did have some light bleeding. I know the suppositories can irritate your lining and cause it to bleed some so it could have been a little clot from the vaginal lining. Just a thought.

Leora - I am so sorry you have to go though all these scary bleeds. You are in my prayers.

to have fun - congrats on hearing the heartbeat!!

Barbara - love the latest bump picture! You look fabulous!!

Leora - I'm so sorry you're having another scare. Probably still that SCH being mean to you and hopefully you'll get reassurance from the doc tomorrow.

Chris - Excellent news!! Congrats on seeing your little one with that beautiful heartbeat!!

Kelley - the bloodwork can be off with twins but there's no reason they couldn't still do the NT scan portion. I would definitely ask about that since it's not invasive like the amnio or cvs would be.

baby_blu - Those pics of Brady and Jaxon are so great! What little cuties!
