Hey Ladies--
Hopeful--What's the name of the Zita West book you are reading? Has it been helpful?

Yogi-Hang in there! Keep yourself busy!

Alicia--How are you making out with the bed rest?

Lola-Don't say the "c" word. You are going to complete this cycle with a BFP!

Suzhan- I read "The infertility Cure". I learned so much from it! How about you?

I spoke to my nurse earlier. I go in for bloodwork on the 10/20 and should be able to start femtrace. My estimated retrieval in 11/6 and estimated transfer is 11/9. I'm getting excited again, but trying not to get to excited. No BFN, no BFN! Say it with me.......

I got my schedule and had my BT (I get my results tomorrow). I'm not doing Lupron, I'll be taking Aygestin only for about 4 days to shut me off, then I get another visit from AF  . Which is crazy because I should be just finished with this AF by then. Then I'll begin a series of US and BTs almost every other day untill transfer day which will be on 11/9. I start Estrace on 10/22 and PIO on 11/4. That's it! A very easy protocol, I think.

Wannababy, the book is Fertility and conception. Has almost everything you need to know. There's lot's of good info on nutrition, IVF, etc.

Suzhan, I'm considering going ahead and doing acupucture treatments to help with implantation. My acupucturist quoted me at $70 per treatment. I'm hoping she'll lump in my fertilty treatment with my stress and pain treatment so that my ins. will pay. I had my second treatment today and I feel like I have better energy and less anxiety today. My tingly shoulder and neck pain still needs a little work, but my neck definately feels better than it did this AM. My DH has been going too and he said today is the first time his ankle hasn't hurt in a year (he twisted it really bad). I figure if I don't do the fertility acu. and I get a BFN, I would be wishing I had done it. If I DO do it then either way BFN or BFP at least I know I tried.

I spoke to my RE about acupuncture and shared with him how I used it with my last cycle. I had it done the day before the retrieval, right before the transfer (literally on the way to the facility) and the morning after the transfer. That's what my acupuncturist recommended. He rcommended doing that again (although he said it is not really necessary b4 retrieval)and add another treatment a few days after the transfer. So this is what I plan to do: My estimated retrieval date is 11/6. I think that's a Monday and she's closed so I'll just go at my regular appt time the week before. ETD is 11/9 (Thursday). I'll go on the way to the facility. Again on 11/10 (Friday) and maybe since she is closed on Mondays, I'll go on Tuesday. Hopefully that will get me on the BFP road!

How do you intend on using accupuncture? Maybe if we can post our regimen we can help each other out when it comes to the timing of our treatments.

Alicia! Wow you are at your 2ww already! Where did all the time go? Good luck hun, I'll be thinking of you and praying for those little ones to stick and grow.

Wannababy, My acupucturist told me to talk about it more with her at my next visit. I'm assuming I do a treatment right before and after like you said. Although I have to see if my acupunturist is there before 9am, that's when I have to be at the clinic. Looks like we have the same transfer date of 11/9. Do you think if I do it the day before ET it would work? I don't know if DH is going to go for me doing it the morning after. I'm sure he will want me to stay in bed. I'm still trying to convice him it will be worth it to pay for fertility acu. I wonder if I could do it on the way home from the clinic after ET? At this point the main reason I'm going for is stress and anxiety. I was really tense last time. I still am a little. I also have neck and shoulder pain which I believe is related to my long time mental stress. I really think being relaxed is going to make a big difference. Especially with the holidays coming up. Turns out we are having family here in our house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll be happy to see them, but I'm a little worried that somehow them being here will cause some kind of stress. I've been trying meditation too. I use a Meditation for infertility CD. I think I just need to learn to not stress about stress!

Alicia - I am so happy to see that you are feeling and sounding very positive. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that both of your embies stick. I am sending you lots and lots of baby dust.

Yogi - I hope you are surviving your 2ww. I have you in my thoughts and am sending plenty of baby dust your way.

Suzhan - I am glad to see that you have a possible start date for your next cycle. Did you use Lupron previously? That is what I used during my down regging (10 units) and during my stims (5 units). Don't be nervous. I am sending you good wishes and I truly hope this cycle is the one for you.

Wannababy - good luck to you too. Glad to see you starting to become excited again. That is a good sign.

Mia - You must be so excited to be doing your FET pretty soon. Awesome!

Lola - Here is to you starting your stims next week. I hope that Sunday is your last day for your BCP and I really, really hope your cycle does not get cancelled this time around.

Best of luck and lots of baby dust to everyone. Have a great weekend.

Shapooh- I am so glad to hear that you are feeling so positive! Keep yourself busy so that the 2ww doesn't drag!!

Myhb--How are you feeling? Any new news to report?

Yogi--Thursday will be here before you know it! Say it with me--BFP, BFP!

Hopeful-I think the most important treatment is once the transfer is done! I'm thinking about going on the way home from the retrieval, if at all possible. I'm interested in your mediation CD. Please tell me more!

I hope everyone is doing well and thinking happy thoughts!

Take care!

Yogi,

I got discharge and AF crmaps. THe problem is that the signs are the same for pregnancy and for AF. Try not to over anaylize it as it goes either way. Stay away from HPT and keep positive. I know it is hard but you will drive yourself crazy with all the signs. I am praying/hoping for you!!!

Yogi, don't worry, AF symptoms and PG symptoms are similar, just like Sam says. :) Hang on and keep up the PMA. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

wannababy, The CD is called 'Health Journeys Guided Meditations Help For Infertility'. I got it from Amazon. So far it's pretty nice and it does help you relax and focus on your inner self. You just have to make a little time for it.

Thanks myhb, I am very excited. I feel really positive about this FET.
