Evening ladies
Nicole: really glad your legal are recovering. When you have to start training again?!
Christy: Yes, I actually planted two beautiful flowering shrubs two weeks ago in preparation and they will flower every may as our reminder. One thankfully is blooming already and its lovely to see.best of luck with the interview
Amanda: could be the hormones or it could be pregnancy. Im seriously hoping its the second!!!
Leora: oh no, im sorry. Im going to echo everyone else in terms of just needing one but i know thats really hard to take. And as Anna said, you have good implantation rates and I'll be praying so hard that this is your time with this perfect little embryo. But im really really sorry for all this stress you are going through. This is a first that this happened to you isnt it - have they given you any thoughts as to why? Please try and rest x
Maria: how was your scan?
Anton: your posts are so warm and kind
Kynlee: thank you. And i did make the chocolate croissant bead and butter pudding from scratch. Here is the recipe:
125 g dark chocolate, broken into pieces, or dark chocolate drops
6 croissants, (slightly stale is fine)
4 eggs
450 ml single or regular cream
250 ml milk
150 g caster sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4.
2. Scatter half the chocolate over the base of a 2 litre pie dish. Cut the croissants in half and lay them, cut side down and slightly overlapping, in the dish, then scatter over the remaining chocolate.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients, plus a pinch of salt, and pour this mixture over the croissants. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of sugar and allow to stand for 5 minutes before baking in the oven for about 45 minutes or until the custard is just set in the centre. Remove from the oven and serve (if you dare!) with softly whipped cream.
Afm: had another therapy session today, after yesterday something shifted, i can hold this easier now and im moving towards preparing for a new baby whilst being able to remember my first without clinging on so tightly. I've also discovered a new way of working which i hope will help me work with other women.
