Faith, thought I’d reply to you re injecting. I have always hated needles, but funnily enough got on fine with doing my injections myself. I had to inject roughly the same time each day and used to do it when I woke up (around 530/6am) to help my DH get ready for work. I used to go back to bed afterwards for 30 mins or so because I found that the injection site used to swell up a little. I alternated legs too because I found I bruised very badly. I have very sensitive skin though so don’t think that helped. The nurses told me to press on the injection site for a few minutes with a tissue or cotton wool as this would minimise the bruising/swelling and I found this helped.

However, I don’t think a few hours out will do any harm in terms of injecting. At the weekends I don’t wake up so early so it was more like 8 or even 9am when I injected. I also had a nightmare scenario where I was in Italy one w/end and realised I didn’t have enough Gonal F to do the full injection, so I just injected what I could. As soon as I got back to London that night around midnight I made up the amount - didn’t affect the amount of follicles at all

Hi Little P
I did give them one but I haven't seen it anywhere I keep meaning to give then another one.
I am fine and realising that this month was too busy already without an IVF cycle so just looking forward to next month now and fingers crossed that my FSH levels come down soon.

Hi

just catching up. Well done little P on the 9 embies, that's great news. Get plenty R&R

I still don't feel like anything's actually happening, but I've got my first clinic appt since I started down regging tomorrow, so maybe that'll make it a bit more real. I did manage to go out and buy a shedload of vitamin and mineral supplements following Big J's advice. However, I also bought a big bag of licorice allsorts at a petrol station (why don't they sell small bags?!) and now they've all gone, so that was a bit naughty.

hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine

Wow, some great news with the EC and lots of lil Embies. Well done girls. Good luck for the ET.

A little update, with my scan. Most of my follicles have gone down. Got a huge cyst in my left ovary though. That's probably what's been causing all the lower back pain   Hopefully it'll go by the time I'm due to start down regulating.
