Hi

Feeling much better today.
Did very little yesterday afternoon. Drank loads of water and rested. The most stressful thing I did was change the TV channel and decide what pizza to order!

EC scheduled for Monday AM.

Thanks and hugs all for the kind words of concern and support.

Jag - I am so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself.

Best wishes
Ange

Jag,

I am so sorry. I would bet you'll have much better results with ICSI next time. The clinic I go to actually uses that for everyone....even if there isn't a male issue because the fertilization rates are so much better.
So, I know it's hard, but try to stay positive.

Just an update on my situation:

I went into the clinic yesterday morning to get a shot since DH was out of town and, at the same time, one of the nurses agreed to do a scan for me to see if there was any progress. There wasn't. My lining hadn't budged. At that point I discussed things with them and decided there was no point in continuing. The Dr. said there was definitely no hope of going to transfer since I had been on meds for too many days and nothing was happening. As far as the biospy I had been thinking of doing, it seems it wouldn't have been very accurate given everything going wrong with the cycle.

At any rate, part of me just wanted to cry in frustration while another part of me was just happy to have this never ending cycle over with. I'll take at least a month off then decide what to do next.

Meanwhile, I'm keeping an eye on the rest of you and hoping for lots of positive news!

Staci

Jag - I have posted to you elsewhere ... Sorry you've had this happen to you .. So unfair ... My thoughts are with you ..

Staci .. I'm sorry it's turned out this way, but can imagine your relief at closure. If I was you, I'd still be glad I persevered - otherwise would still be wondering if the extra days would have paid off. A month will fly by .. make sure you take it easy, and get rid of some of that stress. I can feel it from here.

Morning Ladies,

Jag, I'm so sorry to hear about your embies. I can't imagine how your feeling, but you have to try to think of something positive. Like maybe it wasn't God that didn't want it for you. It's that there was something wrong and he didn't want that. He does want this for you and just keep remembering that. Huggs

Stacey, sorry to hear your cycle has been cancelled. Take a month, refresh yourself, destress and get ready to start again, you can do it. It will happen. Huggs

Hi Smita, the stimming process is going, I wouldn't say well but it's going  I'm trying to stay positive so I won't complain, even though my husband did make me bleed this morning  , ooops, no complaining right! lol

Jen, where are you? How are you doing?

Denise, what happened to you?

Hi to the rest of the ladies in here, how are you all?

Take care everyone

hugs

Hi

Ive not been around on the boards since my EC which was on the 8th August. EC went well and we now have 9 frozen embryo's which is fantastic.

The not so good news is that I ended up with severe OHSS and ended up in hospital for 10 nights from the 10th August and they finally let me out this morning. I put 2 stone on in 5 days and was on a drip for 7 of the days, it all got pretty scary but im glad to say that things seem to be slowly getting better and my weight is slowly dropping ! Ive got to eat loads of protein and hopefully my body will gradually get back to normal.

Im going to see my clinic next week so that they can discuss FET but Im not going to rush into it until I think im healthy again. I knew all about OHSS but didnt think it would happen to me

I hope everybody is doing ok.

Gail,
I think waiting until you feel better is a wonderful Idea.
I have never been through the pain of OHSS but have read about
it numerous times. I am so sorry for you ladies that have dealt with it. I think I would cry and suck my thumb because of the pain and bloating.
Take Care,
Joy
