I'm Back! I have been away for a few days...again, sorry for being so out of the loop! I had a slight breakdown last week wondering how in the world I was going to come up with enough money for the FET in a few weeks and literally cried myself to sleep. Well, God answers prayers! The next morning I woke up to get a nice surprise...money that was owed to me years ago surprisingly appeared and now I am set (and in shock). It's a long story that I am sure would bore all of you, but what a blessing. The man upstairs really takes care of us and hopefully this is a sign that more good things are on the horizon. I may even get an earlier start than I thought. Just waiting on AF. It has been 43 days since her last visit. I hate my cycles! So...starting the vitamins again to get myself back on track and ready for my two little frosties!

i heard that song on the radio the other day Jesus take the wheel... its so how i feel ... i cant do this on my own anymore so take the wheel i will be in the passenger seat with the map it may be upside down but you know where we are going.

Evening ladies,

AMD:- So happy for you that you got your $$ back. It is unbelivably stressful trying to figure out how to pay for all this. We were the same as we are not eligible for publicly funded treatment, luckly my MIL came up tumps for us. I definatly believe its a sign for you.

Well, I had lunch today with my two best girlfriends, and they surprised me with a gift of " IVF survival package". A huge gift bag full of funny goodies like :-

Evian water spray ( for the hot flushes due to down reg)

tubs of sweets labeled ...Anti psycotic pills.( for when I lose it !! )

KY jelly ( for you know what )

egg cups (for the egg collection )

A bag of marbles (for when I lose mine )

extra think and creamy concealer ( to cover the menopausal bleamishes )

and finally for DH earplugs!! (so he can't hear me nagging )

It really was the best gift a girfiend could give and they really are the best friends a girl could ask for!!!

Anyways off to bed now...have a good day everyone hope all is well.

Well I can't seem to get positive at all. Believe me I tried. I don't even have sore boobs anymore so I guess the evil witch is on her way now. I'm sure I won't even make it to test day. I know I shouldn't but I have already discussed this with DH and told him I think sore boobs going back to normal is a very bad sign. I guess it will have to be FET in November if this fails this week. Can't do October as I am at a wedding in Ireland which is bang in the middle of the month. As pissed off as I am I know worse things happen in life.

Thanks for the msg. I know I would be saying the same if it was to someone else. I should practice what I preach I guess.

Anyway, Great gifts. Really thoughfull of them. It shows they have took time to understand what you will be going through. Normally people claim they understand but they don't but it sounds like your friends actually do understand.

Good Afternoon ladies,

Well i went back to the clinic this morning for my scan, my doctor was measuring my wee follies while i was chatting away -

Picture it u know the scene ladies - legs up in the air scanner - erm - scanning - DH behind the other side of the curtain, and i happened to say to the doctor
'im eating like a pig mind - is that one of the side effects
And the doctor replied, Hmmm it can be - Its an excuse to pile up ur plate'
While my DH from behind the curtain piped up in his wee northen Irish accent:

'Aye see - she is not yet eating for 2 - but eating for her folicles'

So ladies - if ur looking for an excuse when ur piling on those punds - that is it lol

'We are eating for our Follicles'

Anyway - my scan revealed that my right side of follies are growing lovely, but my left side, even tho there are a good number there, they are a wee bit too small (biggest is 14 on the left) the doc told us that they like them to be at least 16/17+ sooooooo, ive been put back a day for my EC - now it will be on Wednesday at 9am. I take my 'trigger' shot 2moro night at 9pm.

Im a bit disapointed at the size of my follies, but the doc did say that the ones that are there are good sized, if the others dont grow then we will collect what is there and prop only get about 4 eggs!

PMA!!!! 4 Eggs is better than no eggs yes??? PMA!!!!!

So start praying for my wee follies to grow to big follies - maybe i need a bit more on my plate to fill em up LOL!

Your follies have 3 full days to grow to that size and they will. Mine were the same, loads of little ones and they caught up in time for EC.

It's one of my older sisters that's getting married (2nd marriage). She is getting married in Dublin (city) and then the reception is in Naas in Co Kildare. I am from Dublin but I have lived in Cheshire for about 16 years now. I love both places. I go home to Dublin at least 4/5 times a year.

OMG this is such a busy thread...i can't keep up with it!!

Ange..Ur friends r so sweet for giving u an IVF survival present, that is sooo thoughtful!!

Becky...I really wouldn't worry about the size of ur follies, like Macca said they still have a few days 2 grow, i only had a couple that were over 15 but she wasn't worried at all as she said i 2 had a few more days 4 them 2 grow!! Try not 2 panic...coming from me!, i worry about everything!!
..I've been panicking that my follies will stop growing for EC on tues!!

I've got my HCG shot 2nite at 8pm and i'm expecting it 2 hurt...it looks big! Gettin nervous about EC on tues, keep thinkin something will go wrong!!

Good luck 2 every1 on here, I'm really sorry i haven't done a personal bit 4 every1 but my memory isn't at its best at the moment!!
