Laurie - my appt is at 8:45. I so hope I have good numbers. Every twinge I feel I can't help but wonder what it means. But I'm staying positive and living one day at a time. Stress is not what any of us need right now!

You're right, the thread is quiet today.

Hey All- I had my b/w- just waiting for results, although I am already preparing myself for the worst. This morning, when I wiped again, I got some brownish spotting. It's not a lot, but I sometimes spot brownish for a couple of days before af, so I'm afraid that's what it is. I took another test today and it still came out positive, but it could be failing and I could still have some hcg in my system. I'm not feeling very optimistic right now, but I'll know more this afternoon.

Dont worry bout your blood work it will be fine, i know what you mean though, i have to have my 2nd b/w tomorrow and im so nervous.
I too had a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks so i just want to see good numbers to reasure me that everythings going well in there! do you know what i mean?
I saw on your previous thread that your clinic has saqid no sex for the first 12 weeks!!!
My clinic has not said anything about that, and not that im looking to have sex right away, but 12 weels is a long time, but on the other hand dont want to do anything that may be negative to this pregnancy

Also what about baths, i was told by my clinic no baths for the 2ww, but is that just for the 2ww or longer?

Jen - I'm praying that everything is ok. I know the waiting is stressful, but try to stay positive. You would think that with all the advancements in technology, someone could figure out a way to give you instant blood work results!

Yes, being positive is what we all need to be:) I am still resisting the HPT! I guess I am just too scared to see the result so I will just wait for the bloodtest result tomorrow. I just don't know what to think! A lot has been happening with my body, but I am afraid that it is just the progesterone (I have never been on it before so I have no idea how it affects my body) or possibly that it is just AF trying to make her way. I have had no spotting (knock on wood), a strong appetite but nothing sounds goods, and foods taste different, restroom issues in the morning, tender but not sore breast from time to time. Who knows if any of this means anything, but I am just going to assume good until proven otherwise:)

I feel very calm for the most part, as for tomorrow it will probably be a different story. I have already decided that I am going to put my DH's cell number down so that the clinic will call him for the results instead of me. I know I am a chicken!

Good luck to all of those testing and having bloodwork done!

good morning ladies, well just thought i would drop in and say hello, how is eveybody this morn?? as for me im kinda nervous about my first u/s tomorrow i keep thinking what if they dont see a yolk sac what if its a chemical pregnancy or even worse a blighted ovum..i read way tooo much...not eally sure how to feel about tomorrow..my numbers look good i just hope they see something in there.......ugh i hate having so much info. my progesterone level also went up since they tested it on the 5th that one was 25 now its up to 45 now that they doubled the dose of progesterone...

has anyone had a us at 5wks?? if so what did they see?? just trying to know what to expect for tomorrow.

No stillhavnt told anyone else, not going to untill at least after the 7wk scan.
Still feeling very anxious bout my 2nd b/w tomorrow. Spoke to my clinic who said that cos my numbers were quite high(418) for my 1st beta that it would be unlikley to be a chemical pregnancy, but just gotta play waiting game again tomorrow.
I thought you and mybaby tested on wed? i thought you would have tested same day as me cos you were also a day5 transfer wernnt you.

Well- my number is in. 103. My doctor thought that was a very good number. I told her that I was spotting ( it was bright pink this afternoon) and she said lots of people spot and not to panic until Thursday when I go for another test. PLEASE THINK NICE DOUBLING THOUGHTS FOR ME!!! We are also going to up my progesterone to 1 and 1/2 ml per day. My progesterone had dropped from 21 to 16, but again she said it can fluctuate from hour to hour, which I had read several months ago. She still thought 16 was okay. Anyway, I am too scared to be excited,but will try to stay positive!!!

You're right Laurie, I also had a 5 day transfer on the 30th - don't know why my test wasn't scheduled till Thursday and I never thought to ask what they thought of me going in earlier - So, I'm just climbing the walls and trying to prepare my lessons for this weeks and next weeks classes - to keep my mind occupied.
I must admit that I am starting to have a terrible sinking feeling that it just hasn't worked this time around either. DH didn't want to talk about that possibility until we know for sure what the test says...and, he is right...got to keep thinking that everything I am feeling is a good sign --

Thursday can't come soon enough!

I think your beta is a good number. If you look at betabase.info it shows the median beta for 13 dpo is 78. So you are ahead of the curve. I will do a double dance for you anyway. DOUBLE, DOUBLE, DOUBLE, DOUBLE!
