Good morning, ladies! Good luck to the 3 Musketeers with their betas today! I'll be thinking and praying for you.

IndieBlue:I wish I had some extra Menopur to send you! Talk with your RE's office. I am certain they can help you somehow, especially since you are in the middle of your treatment.

So here's an update on me. Big changes going on! Someone on another thread posted this quote - "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" - and that's exactly how I feel about moving forward with a FET in July. My greatest fear is blowing through our 9 frozen eggs and being left with nothing. I am not sure I am willing to do another fresh cycle. I told myself I wouldn't make that decision until it was time to, but going through all this again and not making any changes or doing anything to try and make a real difference seems ludicrous to me. I don't want to be careless with them and I want them each to really count. I feel like I owe them that much!

So, after reading The Infertility Cure and consulting with my acupuncturist, we have decided to give her 3 months to correct my issues through acupuncture, herbs and (MAJOR) diet changes and then move forward with FET in September. She is also going to work with my DH on some of his unrelated medical issues.

We are still awaiting our blood test results that may shed some light on our issues, but I am going to give my AC time to work her magic and then let the RE work his and pray the Lord will bless us. I know it is ultimately His doing, but I also believe He helps those who help themselves and I feel really good about the decision. Plus, if none of this works, I will know I did everything I could and we can go into the adoption process knowing it's where we are suppose to be.

SO...I am going to keep up with y'all, but AdsGirl, you can take me off the list. Good luck everyone! Thank you for all your support thus far.

I agree with ForMaggie - what a great day, perfect for good news! Not that I am that productive anyway, but I can't wait to hear the news today, and I think there may actually be 4 - Rinnie, LoveBug, SD and DNT. Hang in there!

Cocosmomma - sounds like you have really thought about this and are making a great choice. You have to do what is right for you, and I think taking care of yourself is always a good thing and one that is easily forgotten as we go through this. Best of luck!

Sue - great news of the fert report! ForMaggie - hope you have a great report as well!

Irish and jharris - DH and I went to a beer pairing dinner last night at a local restaurant - needless to say we signed up before this started. I did have 1 sip of beer, but had to stop because I don't know if I would have been able to stop! We are going to my parents' beach house and they know all about it, so at least DH can drink with my dad, and my mom doesn't drink anyway! I have been out a few times with some girls and I know they have to think something is up so I haven't even had 1 cocktail - what does that say about me?!

Aims - how are you holding up - we are getting close!

I got a call yesterday and I am going to get my levels tested again tomorrow. I was hoping it would be today, because we wanted to leave for the beach tonight, but I guess I can't complain too much since I asked about it!

Enjoy the long weekend!

Cocosmomma: I respect your decision to postpone traditional treatment while you pursue AP. This process is so draining that one needs to marshall one's strength and resources in order to get through it. And taking some time to prepare your body seems like a wonderful investment in your future cycles. I am thinking of you and wishing you all the best.

SD!!! That is fantastic!! :!: :!: That is a huge jump from a few days ago!! Sounds like that little baby snuggled up and got comfy real quick!!! I am SO happy for you and your DH!! :D

LB: I hope your tests go well tomorrow, and that you enjoy your beach trip!! We haven't told anyone that we are going through IVF, not even our parents! One couple that is or closest friends know, just so that I would have someone to talk to about it, my boss knows so that he would understand me missing work, and my church group leader are the only 4 people that know. We wanted to keep it a secret to avoid all the questions that come along with things like this. It has been so great to have you ladies here to talk to about it and know what goes on!

cocosmomma: I truly hope the AP helps and gets you to a good place for your next cycle. I compltely understand not wanting to risk those frozen embies. We didn't have any to freeze, so I can only imagine! Best of luck to you!

ForMaggie: It's a beautiful day here, too! I hope it brightens your day, and takes away that soreness from your ER. And that diet sounds awful! I hope you get to change it soon! We have friends coming over to hang out tomorrow, and we might catch a movie Sunday after church, so I plan to enjoy this long weekend, even if it's not at the beach! Enjoy yours, too! And you know, your imagination is great! I can see it all now!

Ads: Thanks for the updated list. Enjoy your trip!

Neffi: Good luck with those results! Hope you get to stim!

Hi again

I have been quietly following everything going on and I am thrilled that SD has started the BFP ball rolling!

Kollegeqtee: I am afrad I don't know much about FET cycles but I do know lots of ladies have low beta's and go on to have healthy babies! Good luck. I have everything crossed for you.

I am now on Day 2 of Stims. The shots seem to be worse this time. Not quite sure why but may be because I am using Gonal-F this time.

Have any of you been given advise on what to eat during stimming?

Tracey x :D

LB I am glad to read that your spirts are up and your going to get another test this weekend. I hope all goes well. I'll be thinking about you.

Rinnie I've been stalking the board all morning, but havent had time to post until now, but I've been checking for your post. I've heard alot of people with stories from their AP about that. I read on another board last year where a girl went in, in preps for IVF 3 months down the road and he said "you pregnant". She thought "this guy is a quack" and sure enough, she was pregnant!!

SDtrying WOW, wow and wow!! Those are GREAT #'s girl! I am so happy for you!!! Congrats!! When do you get your first US?

Irish Hope the stims are going well. Cant wait until next week to hear how your follies are growing.

ForMaggie Holly cow girl!! You just rocked them eggs out didnt you. Way to go!! I am so looking forward to your fert report!

Babygurl Welcome, welcome!! I havent started stimming yet, but I must say that the Lupron is giving me killer headaches. I took about a week on it for them to really start kicking in. I was woken up by one last night at 3am and it was horrible.

Queenie We will be stim buddies:) I start stimming next week as well as long as all is well with my baseline on Tues. I picked up all my meds last night and I must say I was over whelmed.

Sue I am thrilled that all 4 fertilized. That is wonderful news!

Coco I think you are making a wise decision for yourself. I wish you the upmost best of luck and I hope that AP gets you your prize!!

cwrj My RE suggest a well balanced meal (his suggestion was the maintenance phase of south beach) and NO dieting allowed. GL!

Indie
When do you get your bw back? Can you order your meds right away, but only pick up a fwe at a time? Thats what I did. I didnt know that I had to pay full out of pocket for my progestrone so I told them I would pick it up next week and they were fine with that. So maybe you can order all that you need then only pick and each week what you need. BUT I would check with GRS first to see if they had any they could give you. Do you and DH like drive ins? Just curious since you talked about living north and Chattanooga if your tried the new drive in in Trenton called Wilderness? We went there alot last year. We are big drive in enthusiast and go a few times a month, but the one we go to in blue ridge mostly.

Well the horrible Lupron head aches have caught up with me. AF is jsut about done, it was really light, but dirty, if that makes sense without TMI.
I am excited for Tues! The I can start stimming on Wed. yeah!!! I've been working my butt of at work to get ahead since I dont know how much work I will be missing and so on.

I hope all is well and I am waiting for those BETA's ladies:)

Hmmmm. I am not sure how to feel. I just got my fert report. Of the 22 eggs they collected, 13 were mature. Of the 13 that were mature and ICSI'd, only 7 fertilized. I am a little disheartened. Overnight, I lost over 2/3 of them.

Hey, yes we like that one...but we LOVE the one in Alabama. They charge per car and it's 2 features a night...we really like that :) As far as the meds, I think I'll be okay :) We prayed about it and I freaked out a little too LOL but I think we're going to be okay. Just praying it's our last 'surprise' on the money/meds issue and that all this ends up in a BFP!!!

Good luck with starting your stims :) The schedule she gave me showed 4 days of stims and then an office visit...so maybe that is pretty standard. I started yesterday (Thurs) and then go back in on Sunday for my first U/S. I hope they don't want to see me back till Wednesday....but I'm thinking it'll be more like Tuesday/Thursday type schedule.

ForMaggie, I know how you feel. We only had 10 eggs retrieved, of those only 6 were mature enough and ICSI'd, and of those 6, only 3 fertilized. I was disappointed at first, too. But we transferred the 3 that fertilized, and now I'm just waiting for my beta. They all say it only takes one, so I hope you have great success with your lucky 7!!!

dakota: Try Tylenol for those Lupron headaches. It was the only thing my RE okayed to take, and it helped. They are really bad though. Good luck!

cwrj: My RE didn't tell me to change anything I was eating/drinking during my meds. So why are the shots worse? More painful shot, or bad side effects? Good luck!

Hi Girls!
Well, this is a huuuge step for me....I got a BFP!!!!! The Beta was 75.8 so mine had a bit of a party before jumping in, unlike SD. Wow girl..yours got busy right away...Congrats!!

So, my RE says not to get too excited just yet because of my age. My next beta is Tuesday, so it will be a really long weekend  More waiting...I can't take it any more. He cut down my progesterone a bit & my E2 dose stays the same.

I have a question...I'm waiting for the callback from RE. When is it safe to have sex? I don't think I'd want to have an orgasm, but I know it would be nice for DH.
Anybody know anything?

Love Bug Any word? I'm thinking of you & sending lots of love.

Ok...gotta go breathe :)
