OK I am finally back.. Yesterday was so amazing. Seeing the little puppy.. Some bad new though as DH and I are going to a wedding early September and we will be of to Canada for a couple of days. The breeder does not think its fair to have taken GRAHAM (thats his name) home yesterday and than board him (he is too little) so he will be staying with her and his brothers until we get back. I had so much fun playing with him all day yesterday. I did not want to stop loving on him. He is a snuggler dog..MY fav.....The schedule will be a bit crazy. We will go get him around September 18th or so and poss start the EC and ET around Sept 22nd or so.. Nothing like doing things all at once.

Macca honey I am so sorry that you seemed to be loosing your pma but I have good news.. The sore boobs going away is a great sign that happened to me and I was preggers so see its a great sign.. I know you are struggling with the PMA but we will have it for you...we love you honey and your little ones

Your embies still have the next couple of days to get big and strong and even if you end up with 4 that is still a great #.. Keep up the PMA honey... I had to laugh at what you DH did with saying about you eating for your follies.. I hope you fully explained "yep I am eating for my follies but just wait till the BFP and than I will be neeing to up the grocery budget" of course you will have to explain the code of BFP

The HCG shot did not hurt. Its nothing that felt great but it did not bother me any more than the others. You must be getting so excited you are so close Dont worry about something going wrong.. Everything is going to go great

Ok I have had about enough of AF (not playing nicely) I will be doing all my crazy dancing for you.. I wanted to say that song "jesus take the wheel" is one of my fav's I often just listen to it really loud in my car..
AF will show up soon... I will kick her booty into coming you know me too well that all day yesterday I was not posting because I was being side tracked by the puppy

Hi all,

i've been reading your posts on and off on this message board for a while whilst waiting for my IVF dates to come through and start treatment. In you all seem so friendly and like one big family so hope you don't mind if I join in....

I guess I'm a Septemer thread as I started treatment two weeks ago and due my first scan tomorrow. EC is planned for 11th Sept. Not sure what to expect from first scan or what they are checking for so wouldn't mind any advice and some friendly comforting words.

Think I'm having my first emotional moment especially after reading the message about the friends and their IVF gift - that is so sweet. Guess feeling a bit teary and the smallest thing is setting me off this weekend. Due to start the next cycle of treatment following scan. Is this what you girls call strimming?? (also what does baseline mean?) sorry so many questions....

can i ask what have you been taking for the last two weeks ... if it was Lupron (or something liek this)then you have been "downregging" and they will check to make sure you are surpressed tomorrow meaning they are looking for your womb linning to be thin and your ovaries should be doing nothing ... then the egg food starts some stimming meds yeah you where right ... as for baseline weve learnt it means different things to different clinics my clinic call a baseline the very first appointment (usually day three of AF.. Aunt Flow (Period) to get a base reading of your FSH and other wonderful hormones... i think some other ladys have baseline after downregging?? (is that right) but my clinic call that one a surpression check... so its best to use what ever your clinic call it and usually we can tell what part your on so we all kinda know what we mean...ish sort of...LOL

never appologise about questions thats what we are here for i just hope we help with the answers and confuse you more...

Hi everyone

Aunty I am so glad AF has finally shown up for you, all of the jigs on this thread must have helped.

Well I have just done my injections again and i think I am getting the hang of it now. The only problem is my legs are really bruised now and I am finding it hard to find an unbruised bit to inject into. I was going to use my tummy tonight but just finished a big dinner so didnt' think that was such a good idea.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Aunty - that's great news you can start again.

Jackie - how exciting. When I phoned about getting my dog the owner kept him a couple of days later coz my brother was getting married. You'll have a busy time ahead of you - paper training etc. I couldn't wait to take him out for a walk but had to wait until he had all his injections. Have a great time with your baby.

Angela your wondeful being able to do it to yourself, i always have mine in my belly just has to not be too close to your belly button i have a big belly so more room i was told its easier than the legs too (not so painful or bruising)

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've taken my down-reg and stimms 40 mins late. Aargh. Is that ok? i know it's ok with the down-regs but what about the stimms. I never heard my alarm go! Thanks Paula x

Hey Paula, i posted on your other thread but wanted to say its absolulty fine as long as its a couple pf hours around the right time it wont affect your stimming... i am hardly ever on time with mine, my clinic say you have to take mine between 6-8 am and 6-8 every evening i do mine 5 am (hubby leaves for work) and between 9-10 pm (hubby gets home) i stimm fine so dont worry... you will be fine.
