andrea - Actually at the moment I don't feel that different. I have to pee all the time, but I always have to pee all the time. I've had some mild cramps that don't really feel like other cramps that I've had in the past, but that's about it. Oh, and earlier in the week I kept having sex dreams, I don't know what that was about, maybe not related, or just because my DH and I can't do that now, but I haven't had dreams like that in years!

mina - Welcome! So far everyone on this thread has already finished with their egg retrieval. But we'd be happy to discuss anything you'd like. What's on your mind? Maybe we can give you some insight?

Hey!

I just realized that all the symptoms (except the cramps) were not really symptoms at all. Really, the only thing that feels different is my very mild cramps. I've had them for about a week. Everything I read says that they're normal, but I still obsess! I, too, pee all the time (I drink a lot of water), so that hasn't really changed. My dreams are more memorable, but I think that's because I haven't been sleeping well.

At this point I kind of wish I had more symptoms. You know, just to verify that it's all really happening. But if I did have bad morning sickness or something like that I'm sure I'd be singing a different tune. :)

Hey Ladies

Got back from our little vacation yesterday and went and had a blood test. It was negative, as I expected it to be. I'm pretty pissed, disillusioned and sad. My DP is even more upset.

I have 3 frozen embryos which I guess I'll have transferred this cycle. Maybe without the borderline OHSS, It might work. At any rate, it's on to IVF cycle #5.

Congrats to both of you, Andrea and Hoping. I'm really happy it worked for you guys!

lightcoming - my heart goes out to you and your DP. It's just not fair that you should have to do this so many times. :(

You know I read that the reason that donor egg cycles are so successful is because you aren't putting your body through all the craziness of an ivf cycle before doing the transfer. I imagine that a frozen cycle would also help with that. It's so hard on your body to have such high hormone levels and then put your ovaries through the retrieval, it's amazing that any of us can get this to work. I hope that your three frosties will pull through for you.

Don't lose hope, I believe this will happen for you and will keep you and your DP and your three little frosties in my thoughts and prayers.

Lightcommingon - I'm really sorry to hear that, but I agree with hoping, the fresh IVF cycle puts so much stress on your body. I believe that this FET will work for you. Don't be discouraged, there are a lot of women who got pregnant on FET cycles, as well as after a few attempts. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Do you have a post-IVF consultation scheduled?

andrea - are you nervous about Friday? I go back for another beta on Friday too. But they had me come in today for one also, my beta was 659. The nurse said she thinks it's twins, but it's a bit early to tell. And beta isn't a good way to diagnosis that anyway, at least not what I've read. Because you can have a pretty low beta and still go on to have twins, it just depends on how they develop, and what stage they are when you're tested.

I just started checking out the pregnancy boards and found a pretty good one. At least I think it is, I haven't really spent too much time there. It's for due dates in April, which I assume will also be your due date. Mine will be very early in April. I was a little nervous posting there because I know getting through the first trimester is the hardest, but I figure it will be good to have others going through it too.

Hoping -

Oh my goodness! Twins? Congratulations! I'm so happy for you.

I'm totally nervous about Friday, I wish they would let me come in earlier. How many days between your first and second beta?

My due date would be April 3, based on the first day of my last menstrual period. It would be April 1, based on my "ovulation" day.

So, there's an April '08 babies thread? Is it on this website? I'm too afraid to join on of those. I've been lurking on the pregnancy board and posting bits here and there, but I'm still feeling a little shakey. I wish there was some way to know if something is "wrong".

Thanks, I'm not counting on twins yet. I'm just happy that I'm still pregnant!

There were 4 days between my first and second beta. The first level was 175 and the second was 659. The site I use to see about the beta scores is this one. http://www.betabase.info/

I'm not positive what my due date is, but based on my retrieval date which was 7/12 my due date will be 4/3/08. When I go in for the u/s they may tell me something different, we'll see.

Here's the site for april due dates, it's on the sister site of the infertility site. I clicked something on this site that said pregnant or pregnancy and it took me to the main part of this site.
http://preg.fertilityfriend.com/PCircles/index.php

The below link is the april due date forum of the above site,
http://preg.fertilityfriend.com/PCircle ... m.php?f=63

I know what you mean about being shaky about jumping to the pregnancy boards. That's one of the reasons I liked the April due date one, because everyone on that board is very very early in their pregnancy, just like we are. So they are going through the same fears.

I have my third and last beta tomorrow too. I'm sorry they made you wait so long to have this done, but at least you'll know tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you.

Hi Hoping-

I got my beta results, 4011, which means they have been doubling approximately every 40 hours, I think. Yay! How did your third beta go? I'm so excited. I've been lurking on the April due date board, maybe I'll actually post. Hopefully, I'll see you there!

Congratulations,

Andrea

andrea- Congratulations!!!!! That's fantastic!!!!! How excited are you tonight. :)

Mine was a similar number, I'm not looking at the paper where I wrote it down, but I think it was 4200 ish. Crazy huh!

My next apt is an u/s in two weeks. I'm dying to get to that point now! I don't know how I'll go another two weeks without any information. :)

By the way, I changed my nick name on the april due date board, it just seemed silly to be hoping4bfp now. So I'm Jen340 over there. I hope that doesn't jinx it!!!
