Cocoa, I feel your pain, I hope you can get a lot of rest...

I also had my 3rd blood draw today...I hope to get the results today.

Q: I FINALLy got my Progesterone level from my 2nd draw (the one with the 1,680 HCG)...and it was 106.3!
Could you ladies post your second P level? I have no idea if that is bad or good, I was just told it should be "over 20" ...

WC... Are you feeling any symptoms. I kinda feel like mine lessened. I was awake half the night with right side back pain which I totally attribute to my PIO shot hitting a nerve (the nurse looked at it htis morning and suggested I do my shots more on the outside of my butt). Anyway, I was so nervous trying to feel soreness in my bbs etc. I have a terrible metal taste in my mouth and some quesiness but the fullness I felt on Sat does not seem to be as prevelant... Help!!!! I am a nervous wreck and I can't get myself off the couch!!!! even though I want to go sit by the pool!!!

Cocoa, I am so sorry you are in pain from the PIO shots! Do you use Lidocaine (I know that wouldn't help if you hit a nerve, but for me it's lessened the pain of the actual P going in/the needle, etc). PIO is so awful!

OK, don't worry...really. I have the same concerns, however! I get a "fullness in the gut" then nothing...I was queasy today, so I ate a lot (carbs seem to help me, but they also make me gain weight, not good!)

I get pains in my right lower ovary area, which I don't like, but I get them once a day or so...I won't feel "right" until the U/S on the 4th.

Also, after seeing 3 Very Pregnant women at a shower Saturday, I SO DO NOT feel pregnant...it's twisted, IVF, in that we know too much too soon...
So breath, go to the pool, and try to relax your mind...I know it is hard! But be happy your sense of M/S is not awful...I am so hoping mine won't be!

oh, Cocoa...I am queasy a bit when I'm out and about, but I am in SUCH DENIAL because I don't want to throw up...I think if I were a different person, I'd be throwing up a lot...I just am in denial.

Let's cross our fingers...I hear that M/S usually doesn't start until the 4th GESTATIONAL week...(one of my nurses told me that, then again, she's a sourpuss and had M/S during her ENTIRE 9 months so she's quite negative).

My 4th Gestational week is this Friday...(week 6 for LMP).
Oh joy, can't wait tos ee what happens!

WC... did you have a third Beta? If you start week 6 on Friday that puts you 5 days ahead of me so you are due 4/25??? Why don't you have a ticker?? It's so much easier for us

I don't have constipation either - in fact I have at least two BMs a day (I know TMI - sorry

)

I am just sooooo nervous I can't get off the couch. I have been resting so much that may be the reason I don't feel any exhaustion either. Oh why does this have to be so hard?!?!?! You are right, we know WAY toooo soooon....

Hi Ladies,

Hope all is well with everyone just stopped in to let all of you know how my u/s went this am........ TWINS.......................I am in shock we wanted twins but i really did not think it would happen anyway we saw both of their hearts flickering away on the screen and could not be happier twin a measures 6 weeks 3 days and twin b 6 weeks 4 days .....

I AM SOOOOO HAPPY .....................................

Lisa! Congratulations! You and your husband must be very, very excited!!!

What is the next step? When do you go for an official OB visit? Just curious, as my OB won't see me until week 12

And I have soooo many questions I need to do something about that!

Cocoa! You make me laugh so hard! I agree re: the Not Stopped Up Club...I keep reading it's a side effect and I am GRATEFUL it's not one of mine...yet

I seem to have 2 diff due dates, either April 25 or April 27...but big woop, right? They'll come when they come.
I still have no idea if I'm having twins or singles or, IF I'm still preggers...I am waiting for my 3rd Blood test results today!

I should just go lie down...I'm wiped out but as ever, in denial...I'm scared to death that these are The Last Days (I have no other children)...
You know what's going to be strange? When we start SHOWING...
Also, Cocoa, I fear that twins in my 40s will make my doctor tell me not to travel (I guess that is a big Duh to most people) but I'd had my heart set on meeting my hubby overseas in November, while I go there to study a language (my last hurrah, he promised me I could do it)..

BUT if these are twins? No way will a doctor say I can do that.
OKOK, might seem minor compared to having twins, but I don't want to feel trapped YET!

Hi all,
My beta today was 561, which it should have been at least 340, and it is more than that so that is good, my progesterone was at 32 which is good too, but my estogen was low, it was 471 on Friday and went all the way down to 220 today, i am a little bit worried, but i changed my esrtogen patches right before my blood draw, so may be they have not start working by then yet. My doc is not increasing my estrogen patches, which makes me a little bit nervous, but i have another beta test on wednesday, so i guess we will see. My first ultrasound is Sep 5th.

You are so right though... what's seeing him and learning anew language compared to TWINS?!?!? (or even a single for that matter

)...

So you and I are in the same boat... no REAL symptoms YET with all sorts of fears

but ready for them. Yes, SHOWING WILL be interesting... I plan not to say anything at work until THEY start telling ME

I go back to work tomorrow (teacher's calendar) and kind of looking forward to it actually because at home all I have been doing is ruminating on all this baby stuff (no that its bad but I can get obsessive

) So our Betas are high.... hmmm... multiples...?

Vlada... COOL beans babe!!! You are right on target!!! NOt to worry about your prog and est... mine hang around 25 and 470 so you need not worry... except for the sore butt

. My DH is also walking on the sun its soooooo amazing to see that heart flicker on that screen ................... Ok so this is for everyone freaking out about TWINS.....ONE NEVER KNOWS.......my RE was SHOCKED her exact words were "OH MY GOD THEY BOTH STUCK".she also thought i was just going to have 1 by my beta as she said you can never tell... so high or normal one never knows and i hate to break it to all of you but you will just have to wait till your sono.....Its worth the wait just think we all waited so long just to get a BFP this should be a breeze. all my info is in my sign. so you can see my betas as well as my trans info....

LisaPa CONGRATS GIRL!!!!!!!!! It is amazing to see that little heart beating fast and steady, is it not??? In your case 2 little hearts!!! You must have made your tummy a heaven for your little once so they both decided to stick!!!! I am so happy for you an your DH

When is your next u/s?

We had our second one today and our baby is 11mm big and everything looks great. I am going for one more check up with my specialist next week (Monday) and that is it....Then I am officially switching to my OBGYN....

LisaPa- I am soooo excited for you! And your beta numbers did not start out extremely high. It makes me hold out hope that I might have two as well, even though my beta results were average. Of course, I am extremely happy with one, but since this was a one shot deal for me and DH, I am hoping for two! I guess I will have to wait until my u/s on 9/7.

Cocoa- Going back to work will get you off the couch! I didn't like it, but it worked for me. It is so strage how this process messes with your time. At work, the time flies by because I have been so busy. But in the IVF world, I am thinking, I can't believe only 21 days have passed and it seems like it is taking forever to get to the ultrasound day. I better be careful, or before I realize it, I will have wished this whole pregnancy by. I have got to learn to love each day of it!!!! You know, I have had a bad pain in my lower right back as well. I was going to try to find out online if it was an early preg symptom, but that makes sense that maybe we hit a nerve with the PIO shot. Is that bad???

As far as symptoms, I really have not had any yet. Except craving PIZZA as well. I went for PIZZA at 9:30 at night (so bad). My husband was like it is way too early for cravings. I don't know if it is cravings cuz the preggers or if it is just me having an excuse to be bad! After that I felt guilty, the next day I am proud to say I shopped heathly to make up for it. What about caffeine? Are any of you still drinking coffee or soda? Part of me really wants a Diet Pepsi, but not quite sure if I should.

With all the bloating right now, I feel like I am already showing (ha ha). Anyone else still feel bloated? Anyone else still kind of feel in shock that they even got a BFP? It seems so surreal!

Anyhow, take care all! I really do enjoy reading about everything happening in your lives!

wow lisapa i am so happy for u...thats sweet u saw the heart beat too,,, ,must be amazing... see 2 week wait is worth it....lol.....i hope rest of us are doing fine too,,,,,i want to talk to u all so much but i am soooo sick,,,,donno when will i feel better,,,,,i always come to computer read msgs,,,then i try to answer but cant sit on chair for long....i never heard morning sickness makes this sick,,,i hope i feel better soon
